I rescued the same plant on clearance from Lowes, it's was in bad shape, it was rootbound and thirsty, and now it's doing great😊🌿🪴
Hi Paul, I have a few things in yarn now…..coleus, cream & green, hard to see roots because of the colour of yarn, the other standard colour is doing brilliantly, roots all through the yarn. Shrimp plant cutting also has roots going down into yarn. Syngonium is in vase with water & glass pebbles, getting water roots. Epidendrum is in yarn, nothing doing there yet. Begonia Rex is in water with roots on every stem. African violets in water are all getting roots. (The ones in soil I’m not sure of yet). So you can see I’m really enjoying all these experiments with propagation of various plants. It’s interesting to see what works and what doesn’t. Thanks for introducing me to all this.

I wonder if this yarn is good as a wick for selfwaring pots
Yup, I use it as a wick as well for some of my Rex begonias in soil mixtures. Saves money on wick cord.
I got some acrylic yarn and I am ready to start some experiments as well. I know you say Nylon, wondering if you have some objections about acrylic. Thank you 🙏🏾
