Hey Paul, thanks to you I'm growing 3 begonia leaves in yarn and water. Being a Knitter and crocheter (is that a word?) I crocheted a strip loosely to form a roll ( like a loo roll) and we shall see what happens. I'm going to give it his a go more and more now
Hi Col. I let those roots grow where they want, I don’t trim at all. Eventually I’ll probably move it to a larger vase with more yarn. Thanks so much for watching. 😃😃😃
@@patriciasanchez5167 they’re such easy plants. Unfortunately I had to start over with mine. Ants made a nest in it. But the cuttings I saved are growing. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
5:21 Another question: With your fertiliser do you leave the plant in that water until next watering - or just for a period of time and go back to water? I’m doing leca but not sure whether to keep them in leca and water, to add nutrient and/or foliar spray. Thank you again. Col.
I feed with a diluted nutrient with each watering. I only flush maybe once a month but new nutrient goes in after the flush. Leca would probably be the same situation. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌱
Nice. I have big one on a trellis. And it's fenestrating.
Such an underrated plant. So pretty!!! 😃🌱

So much fun! Let me know how it goes!!! I’m excited to hear!!! 😃😃😃
5:14 Good morning Paul 😊 Do you trim those roots at all? Is this what you would call pot bound? Thanks for the great videos. Col.

I luv mine it’s so big hanging in my kitchen window, I’ve cut many cuttings from it.

Have you ever tried making a pole for them to climb but using yarn instead of moss/coir?
Hello. I haven’t tried that. Might be an interesting idea. 😃
