  • Sustainable eye contact = balance of sharp and soft in inner and outer energy
Get Coaching with an Energy Reading from me: shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/Ene...
    TIPS:
    - Breathe before and throughout the interaction
    - Keep eyes sharper, face softer but conscious
    - For more intensity - tilt head downwards
    - For 'doe-eye' - tilt head downwards, eyes focused, with relaxed or slightly open mouth
    - For sharper intensity - tilt head downwards, eyes focused, with more 'hold' on the mouth without clenching
    - To be more relaxed - tilt head upwards (also easier to initially practice with)
    - To be relaxed AND sharp - tilt head upwards, mouth relaxed, with focused eyes (show your emotion through your eyes)
    - For comfort in the mouth - gently place your tongue at the front of the roof of mouth
    - To take breaks - look away in reflection then look back, without moving the head too much
    - Taking natural breaks throughout keeps it sustainable for both
    - To ground and flow in conversation - set an intention before every interaction
See my Instagram and TikTok for practical examples, and come to UA-cam for breakdowns!

When I was in college, we were winding down the semester and my professor stopped mid lecture and told the entire class that I had the best eye contact he's ever come across. The entire semester he noticed it daily but didn't want to say anything. How I'd follow him throughout the room and it was a great quality to have.
I was embarrassed and immediately broke eye contact but in that moment, that was the only time I noticed I had eye contact with him. That was also the day I began to overthink whether I'm having too much eye contact with people. lmao

ngl, I enjoyed the unintentional echo effect.
Good tips here. A lot of my eye contact insecurity stems from a lack of confidence in my physical appearance.
But honestly, I doubt anyone cares (that much) or even shares such a "not positive" opinion.
    "Breathe!"

@NiuViews I request you from the bottom of my heart to make a video on how to behave sharp in different social settings. I apologize for this second request but its very challenging for me to say no. Even when i say no softly it doesnt work and my bounderies are being crossed by people left and right. I dont have time for myself, i dont have time left at the end of the day for my personal growth which is my top priority. My growth and positive aura attracts attention from people around me, I love helping people as well, but I need to find ways to be sharp so that I can pay attention to myself for a change, heal, and grow more. I hope you understand and read this and accept this request of mine. Thank you.

This is great but I have a suggestion.. allow yourself to feel something and don’t be afraid to allow others to see how you are feeling. You don’t have to hide who you are because people genuinely want to know you. Then, you won’t have to force or fake a personality.

@NiuViews I really enjoy watching your videos and unlike other youtube videos your channel and the way you speak and the content you speak off resonates with me personally. If possible, I would like to request you to make a video which i'm struggling with and I need help to navigate myself in social settings. I have a hard time saying no to people and prioritize others needs over my own needs and happiness, I love helping others but more often than not and in most cases I find myself being taken advantage off because of my softness in responses.
I know i have to prioritize myself, and I want to do so by being sharp instead of being soft. When I am sharp, I become too sharp and feel guilty later on.......I'm having a hard time finding the right balance. I'm ususally soft which makes me an easy target for others to step on me. It makes it difficult for me to set clear bounderies and even when i do set bounderies others simply cross them and i cant do anything about it.
Could you please please please make a video about how to be sharp in social settings and how to be sharp with responses in all situations in work and study life and other social settings?
I will be immensely grateful to you if you accept my request. Thanks Ariel.

    me: autistic [challenge accepted]
People would ask me, how do you cope with eye-contact, if you are Autistic ?! It's all about modifying your natural-state. I have the upper-hand, in terms of learning the 'backwards world', considering I am left-handed and had to learn this right-dominated world. Adapt & overcome is the only motto to get ahead in life

Today 2 ladies left 1 star reviews at a food cart I work at because they said the food was cold, and an ice cream pastry we gave them was too hard. I usually close at 5:00 but I was feeling pretty good today and the weather was lovely so I chose to remain open a half hour later, they got there at 5:25. I always feel like every customer walks away with a smile on their faces, but I guess these 2 ladies didn't, maybe my facial expressions revealed my true desire to leave and smoke weed lol. Im usually very good with eye contact, but I am still learning, and because of that, i'll soon be able to avoid situations like these. I found this video on a good day. The women were sisters and they both chose to leave negative reviews...brutal. It's a new business so 2 one star reviews hurts the ratings quite a bit but it's ok we move on !

    Interesting content.
However, I feel like when you are truly, genuinely listening to the person talking, and really trying to understand where they are saying, then you are focused on them and not on what's happening on the upper part or the lower part of your face or how to tilt your head.

I actually find it really hard to keep looking at someone’s face.. because I feel like my eyes start to wander/vibrate and can’t keep focus. I don’t know if it’s something I need to practice or it’s a confidence thing or it’s a neurological thing.

    • @ArielNiuViews

That’s why it’s a practice of soft and sharp to sustain it. Sharper in the upper and softer in the lower in general. Breathe throughout, take organic breaks by just looking away thoughtfully then look back. Confidence is an inside out energy. Stay eye level with others and know you’re worthy to do so.
