The transitions were really nice, with showing the animation and the live action side by side, and I agree too many iconic scenes were missing that im sure a lot of people like myself were waiting to see from book one.
it feels lie netflix justy asked a friend to ask their friend to watch atla and then repeat from memmory everything jut feels extremly off and the parts they tired to change up just sucks
I get the feedback, and very well edited review as well! This show captured the essence of the animated show VERY well.. retained the DNA of the original well enough but giving it a fresh spin more mature. You dont want to copy paste animation to live action.. Listen, to all the snowflakes that want the exact 1:1 story of the animated show. GO BACK AND WATCH THE ANIMATED SHOW!!.. 😂 I have never seen ANY adaptation that tried to copy the anime scene by scene and worked, name ONE anime adaptation that did it and worked.. Because real cinema doesnt deliver the same energy as anime are yall serious?? WHY TF WOULD YOU WANNA WATCH THE SAME THING BUT IMPOSSIBLY AS DOPE AS AN ANIMATED TOON CAN DELIVER? - They compressed a whole 20 episodes into 8, ofcourse you are going to have to switch it up. People should stop crying.
I agree but I'd still like to some key points from the animated series into the live action. For instance the personality of the characters shouldnt have changed much due the fact the personality of the characters is what makes them. I was also listing the difference between the animated and live action but I also included that they combined the scenes which was there own twist while maintaining a similar storyline. I will give Netflix props for the VFX of this as it was truly amazing . Thank you for your feedback and comment on my video 🙏🏻
