Another tip: You can also use smoke bomb to blind enemies and chain assassinate them, this is especially useful if u have master chain assassinate to clear groups of enemies.

You wanna know the absolute best skill to get early on? The one where you roll instead of taking fall damage! I'm all the time jumping and busting myself up.
I used my horse to take the fall.
Another Tipp, if you don't know.
Use the fully upgraded sakai armor in a standoff, so you can kill 5 instead of 3 enemy's!!!

The best combo In the game: Water stance, first upgrade complete full combo which I think is 4 fast heavies which then If u do it fast enough will also get you 4 lights all while the leader or any other enemy with a shield guard will be broken guaranteeing all 8 attacks. And if u can do it properly then u can just spam it as much as u want
Instead of looking at the weapon durring standoffs, look at their feet. If they feint they won’t move their feet but when they actually attack they take a couple of steps to get to you and attack
I’m playing on the hardest difficulty on my first play through and damn, parrying is extremely hard

The stand off had a bug where the enemy walk around jin doing nothing , forcing me to strike first to get hit and down my hp to empty.
Tip - to make standoffs easier, pay attention to their feet instead of their arm. That way you will never fall for taunts
what do they do during taunts?
@@KreativeHogwartsLegacyGUIDES taunts are basically them trying to psyche you out. But they don't move there feet.
Alot of the standoff are in thick grass or obscured.

max upgraded Sakai Clan armor+max upgraded standoff skill=being able to chop 5 or 6 enemies in a single standoff (most often this is the number of Mongols u will find monitoring the paths)

What armor is in the thumbnail and you have at beginning of video?
That one is the armor Hero of Tsushima, the one that you get with digital deluxe edition or special edition, with its helmet and the golden mask also is in the digital deluxe.
BUT its blue, only, as in the video, and in the thumbnail it seems dark so I'm wondering if we can change dye in merchant... I've tried and I think it is only blue but now I wonder, maybe in another merchant...or maybe its just the light in that picture. Anyways, the armor is "hero of tsushima"
The prompt to study the leader never showed up for me when I cleared an area, was I not close enough to the Mongol leader?
I noticed, that when i killed someone in the camp i could not study him. So i sneaked past everyone and then the prompt to study showed up. Hope this is accurate tho
When entering a mongol territory, you will get a bonus objective if you can study the leader.
You have to observe him close and unnoticed
It is only if observing the leader is a bonus objective.
You have to study the leader before attacking anyone else I believe

I have a question about the game not based around the video but because someone might know. Are there multiple save slots so several people could play it or just the one?
From what I can see in the menu, there’s an option for a new game as well as an option to load a save. So I’d assume so
It have multilple save slot, you and other can play with each save diffrent

You could always just create another user account on the PS, and they can have their game completely separate from yours

It's fine. Some leaders can't be watched.
Yea either way before act 2 you've already unlocked moon if you finish all act 1 areas.
I'm sure there are enough leaders throughout the game for you to get all stances
I don’t watch the feet, I watch the chest because majority of the time when they strike they open up first (the chest).

@@GabeCarrion Did it happen to you that if you upgrade the Tanto to max, he only does 1 stealth kill animation? He just stabs them quickly in the neck in my game, no variation at all 🙁
@@kenrn3778 It's pretty much one animation yea. Quick stab in the neck. As for the Ghost armor, don't worry its part of a story quest you can't miss it : ) .

I die a lot because I insist on incorporating long press moves in my fighting.
Standoffs are easy just wait until they actually come at you, they usually kind of jump into their attack
It's all fun and games until your enemy has a glave or spear.

Can you play the game in samurai way, as in no assassination or back stabbing ?
You can but it's not smart strategically at the beginning since you can get overwhelmed by attackers until you unlock more skills
Mostly you can now because of the lethality difficulty you can 2 shot enemies and most of them one shot after unlocking the ronin armor.
DO NOT GET DODGING SLASH, you can already do a dodge and slash without the skill, its completely useless and a waste of a skill point, just an FYI

No, you should NOT invest in Iron Will. That's stupid advice. You should invest in abilities powerful enough that you will never NEED to use Iron Will
Exactly. I'm not planning on investing a single point into that skill. It just reinforces sloppy gameplay if you have it. Knowing, that when you die... well you die is going to make for a better player imo
I agree its useless imo, I actually use it only if im tired of going down a high area proceed to die and revive easy climbing down.
I grabbed it at the beginning of the game when you die in like 2 hits and barely have any resolve, but since I've upgraded my armor and health, I don't think I've needed it at all
Agreed personally if you fall and somehow have resolve that means you didnt use the resolve to heal yourself and 2 is most of a full hp bar
