By the way if you’re looking for more steel, just fast travel to travelers rest inn and old trading post. They both give you about 15-20 supplies as well
Got this game a year ago. Put a couple hours in and just couldn’t get to grips with the combat. Picked it up again recently and took the time to learn about the stances and it’s like playing a whole new game. Really enjoyable. Almost at the end
Considering just how many customization items there are to unlock and how many different abilities, i think it would only be fair if Sucker Punch give us a NG+ in an update soon....

Mike Jones Because usually with open world games people rush to get to the end, skipping side missions to beat the game. But with this game the side missions are enjoyable and unlocking skills and stances feels rewarding.
You know what's the best thing in this game? The fighting😆 If you able to fight about 6 enemies without spilling a blood and end it with a cool sword sheath, it's a total satisfaction 🔥😆🤩
Yaaaaassssss. Lol try to do it with no wasted movement. Looks even more bad ass. Wasted movement as in unnecessary dodges or slashes. End it with sheathing the sword and bowing at the scattered bodies.
I'm so late 😂. Just got a PS5 a month ago and haven't had a console or played video games since PS1. I'm blown away by this game. Definitely taking my time. The Dualsense controller with the joysticks is definitely taking some time to get used to for me. But gets more comfortable each day I play.
The combo of using the Deflection ability that lets you parry blue spear attacks and the Wind Stance ability that lets you auto parry spear attacks if you are attacking while in wind stance.
The traveling system is awesome as well, particularly following the wind. It's so much better than looking at a line on a map and I find I'm paying way more attention to the environment than with a typical map and marker system
@@divinest origins leveling was still good and sensible. Odyssey is practically pointless since all leveling gets you are new moves and that's it since enemies also level with you and have more new moves of their own

After i started playing though i couldn’t stop. This game is awesome! Its just what i wanted its so good! The combat, the upgrades, the visuals, the map, the story. Its perfect! And i just started playing. Great game 10/10 easily! Worth the wait. If you are hesitant on buying it let me just say go ahead and buy! You won’t be able to stop playing
I’m half way through Act II and have nearly all the skills but if you’re only picking up the game now here’s a tip: Play a few side quests before buying skills, know what type of play style you like most and invest your skill points into skills that match the way you like to play
I really like how enemies on horseback have the decency to dismount and face me instead of riding around and shooting and/or striking me. Do you see that Assassins Creed Origins? I hope Ubisoft will take a long hard look at themselves.
I did every side quest and went to every point on the map in act 1 before moving to act 2. Now I’m OP - walk into an enemy territory - firecracker - then bomb, and finish off anyone left with sticky bomb and kenei.
I was just playing Horizon to get one missing trophy for the DLC prior to GoT's release, so the bows have been pretty savage given they feel similar in this game. It's typically a lot easier to hit an archer than a weak point on a Stormbird.

I love that outfit with the antlers on the helmet! So many of the skills sound awesome, I wasn't sure what to unlock first, but at least I have a better idea now. Only played it for a couple of hours so far but I really love it.

My only complaint in GOT is the unavailability to Lock Onto Enemy Targets ??/ Why Sucker Punch left this out is a mystery ?? Maybe it's a Skill that I can Unlock later in the game, I don't know ?? Outside of that, It's beats the Hell out of TLOU2 for Game of the Year, not even close !! Lol

Max concentration cool down time plus max upgraded tadayoris armor is INSANE you can take down close to 8 enemies in a few seconds if you get headshots each time
As of yesterday, I've maxed out my rank and unlocked all the techniques, stances, and weapons. I found a charm that makes wind chimes poisonous to those that pick it up. Been having fun with that one.
Upgrading the standoff to max is also great because when you get the sakai armour and then max it you get 5 kills with just the standoff, it's just satisfying elimination an entire small party by shouting "Hey" and then slicing them down. I also like upgrading wind stance when I get it so that an attack will immediately stop and deflect a spear. This is especially helpful cause wind stance heavy attacks are slower and allow a spear man to get a quick jab in to interrupt your attack, which is weird cause you're countering a spear counter with a spear.
One tactic I used with bow combat and shield dudes is flame arrow to the leg or any exposed spot. Then you freeze time and pop them in the head with a regular arrow.
Jin ain't got nothing on Bayek when it comes to jumping. Lol jks but i am soo glad i bought this game because i am really enjoying it and i generally never buy games for full price.
I also suggest you upgrade wind stance to the max because the last skill allows you to kick your opponent knocking them down giving you a free kill with square

Hey- the setting to fit screen is on your playstation settings i believe. I just got a new slim ps4 and before i started up GoT it forced me to adjust screen fit to the corners properly. Just go into ps4 in display settings or HDR or something like that!

favorite skill is definitely the iron will. Love the ability to get back up, kind of like that ability for one more chance in shadow of war.

The combat on GoT is very similar to Horizon. Best 2 games I’ve ever played! I think Horizion is more challenging but resources are less scarce.

Here's what to unlock first : everything that has to do with being a Samurai, because anything else would dishonor your famiry!

Gather resolve quick and definitely invest in the defensive skills early on. Makes for some cleaner fights

I passed on Iron Will just because it’s too big of a crutch and it’s already easy enough to get health back with the right charms and parrying

I think all stances is something you want to max aswell the revive skill.
