rubbing alcohol can dry out the bristles hydrogen peroxide would be better. And of you pop out the middle spinny part you could clean it so much more easily.
once you let it soak in alcohol, you should let it dry... Just like with hand sanitizer, the killing of the bacteria is when it DRIES... so you should let it dry naturally after using the alcohol and THEN wash it with soap again if you want.... bacteria can grow in alcohol AND bleach as long as it is still wet, so drying is the key.

It oscillates not spins. So its basically just rotates back and forth quickly. It does seem like it not moving very much, that's normal, but it actually is moving.

I noticed that mine smelled gross and I didn't know how to wash it so I just put hand soap and scrubbed it lol. Thank you soo much for posting this! :)

You can see that the brush needs to be replaced. With everything that you did, the brush still looked dirty, time to replace it.

Ethanol (alcohol) will evaporate easier than water so its not as necessary to wash it again after the alcohol bath. Great video, thank you!

Idk if you know this but you can take out the middle piece of the brush to get a better clean :)
