    Oh my goodness, I had my Clarisonic for 3 years now. I never knew I could lift that back piece up, there was sooo much gunk ! But I did what you did and now it literally looks sparkling and brand new !

      Those were microbeeds from your cleanser that your using. You are not supposed to use anything with foam or exfoliating type scrub with the Clarisonic.

    I have had mine for over a year, and rinse it out and lay face down to dry. About once a month I clean my device- I have never seen seen this kind of build up. I'm assuming this is because most people don't keep up with their devices. 🤔

      I think it depends on area I cleaned mine daily and let mine dry face down and still experienced buildup I'm thinking the hard water combined with bad humidity in my city causes it. I eventually just ended up switching brushes to one that comes with a uv light to sanitize because I was breaking out

    Just put in in boiling water .i know that can damage some brushes but that’s the only way you are actually killing the bacteria .putting warm water won’t do anything .

      I think soap and scrubbing is far better than submerging in boiling water. thanks so much for watching, subscribe for more!

    The plastic ring, is that even necessary to keep out? It gets too much mildew underneath.

    • @MadelineDellaMora
      @MadelineDellaMora  7 років тому

      Yes I'd keep it in. I think they added it in the design for a reason! Thanks so much for watching xx

      Madeline Della Mora I called clarisonic and it's a very important piece and can keep your thing from vibrating if taken out and cause it to begin getting stuck. So we need to keep it in in order to prevent that.

    I removed the plastic ring and then put it back and the brush stopped vibating! I removed it and now it works but I think the vibration is more intense! What should I do? Please help!!

      Oh no! I've never had any problems like this, maybe try to search online? If the device is very old it may just be dead. Mine died after 8 years. Thanks for watching and please subscribe for more :)

    Hi so unrelated to cleaning, but is it possible to pop off the center part under the brush head (with the six holes) like you did with the ring, or does that break the Clarisonic?

    • @MadelineDellaMora
      @MadelineDellaMora  8 років тому

      Hi! The ring is as far as you can go when cleaning the brush handle. You can pop out the centre of most brush heads, though that isn't so helpful. Good luck! xx

    I'm trying to find that Go Deep cleanser you showed with no luck. How do you spell the brand? Sounds like you said FRUSH or FROOSH. Lol but I have no luck googling it. Thanks for any help. I LOVE a great scrubby cleanser.

    after looking at them all I ordered the Smart Profile Clarisonic, isnt here yet. There is no cradle to store it in, any suggestions on how to store it where its handy?

    • @MadelineDellaMora
      @MadelineDellaMora  7 років тому +1

      Just on its side so the water drains out :) x

    • @Aleahh1
      @Aleahh1 7 років тому

      Madeline Della Mora what about the ones that are. On a stand? They do drain right?
      I want my hubby to make me a stand for it. May I ask what cleanser you use?
      Also is there somthing good fir blackheads? Can't wait till mine gets here. Thanks.

    • @MadelineDellaMora
      @MadelineDellaMora  7 років тому +1

      Zaz Ethel Mosley Great idea! The stand is for charging, either works great for storage, though you should remove your brush head to rinse out the interior every few days. Right now I'm using the Paula's Choice Calming Cleanser, and their 2% BHA liquid for blackheads. x

    • @MadelineDellaMora

      Hi there! My recommendation would be to remove the brush head and keep both pieces facing upward to dry in a well ventilated room after each use. Thanks so much for watching and please subscribe for more!

    • @MadelineDellaMora

      Maybe 1-2 times a year, hopefully not much bacteria builds up if you leave your brush to dry thoroughly between uses, and rinse it well! Thanks for watching and subscribe for more :)
