In this video we take a look at how to search for all biome types in a world when playing Minecraft. These methods will work for all versions including Java, Bedrock (PC, Xbox, and PS4), and MCPE (Pocket Edition). With cheats on you can use the locatebiomes command to simply locate your biome and with cheats off you may need to find your world seed and use biome finder websites online to get the coordinates of the nearest biome. This is the easiest way to find the jungle, mesa badlands, deep ocean, and the extremely RARE mushroom biome. Finding biomes has always been hard for me and my friends so I hope this tutorial helps you out as much as possible! Enjoy

yeah its because its super super super rare, and it doesnt even spawn in some worlds

:) but i think when u locate modified jungle edge, it could be far far far away so it says “no biome of this type in REASONABLE DISTANCE” cause the world is 30m by 30m blocks i believe, and scanning the full world would take a long time or just overheat? the system

Man, it was such a pain. I'm playing some modded stuff (vault hunters) and needed jungle wood for an altar. Traveled around 35-40k blocks with an elytra in order to find.. nothing. Than gave up and used that command. turns out nearest jungle was just about 4k blocks from my base but in slightly different direction that I traveled. Anyways - thanks for telling that command!

I've created a world and spent hours worth of days on it and traveled so many times and even went past 5000 coordinates and still haven't found a desert biome it's kinda weird right? Literly most of the world I'm in is filled with either iced biome or spruce and I don't wanna cheat or create a new world because I spent so much time on it so ig I'll just keep trying yk heh...

To fix it, just say /locate, it works the same as the command that they used! :)

Me either...i can locate buildings but not biomes.
Maybe because you are playing Minecraft bedrock (pe) it only works on other consoles except bedrock

Blacksmiths/weaponsmiths are hard to find! Only in naturally spawning villages,but, they can have 2 story houses
When making a world,try going to advanced and going to seed templates. It will take you to some seeds for you!
Will this also work for coral reef biomes?

Try this:
-make a copyworld of your survival world
-type the command in copyworld creative
-write down the quardinates
-go to the biome in your survival world

You may have put in the wrong seed mate
I started with a random seed.. And I have copied it on the website.. Anyway i found a chest with bamboo so my problem is solved 🤣

You have to only /locate instead of /locatebiome. /locate works for structures like mansion, witch's hut, stronghold, bastion, fortress
what if we are in realms and dont have a seed to use
Every world should have a seed of some kind, even in a realm
You can download a backup and go to seed and it gives you the seed :)
I use the windows 10 minecraft and I got it for free cause I got it a long time ago!

If you need to throw away any items in creative, go into the void in bedrock,and drop it. It will disappear
Doesn't work for me. It only let's me locate structures like villages and pillager outposts. Not biomes. Not very helpful to me but I can see how it could help with others.

where you think you get the seed from? It’s considered a cheat by doing “/seed”
