I've been watching Hunter in reruns and that red beauty with the white stripe was the third star of that show, ranking just below the Striped Tomato as a TV car.
Soooo i have four bugeye sprites. A 58, needs complete restoration, a 59 race car that needs quite a bit, a 60 tub in Snowberry white that just needs bolting back together and an engine rebuilt, and another 60 i got last month that is an excellent runner. Drive her every day since i bought her. Seeing thst bugeye feels bad, but glad you found some treasures!
