Cherish these days... This is what when life is the most important. Tim appears to have a great disposition - he was obviously pissed before you came over, yet in a heartbeat he beams with smiles as the great rapport between you two surfaces. Love watching the two of you interact. For sure this one gets a HUGE thumbs up! :-)
Tim is a man with a great disposition and balance. Even with his anger and frustration (not to mention the poking and prodding of his father) he can smile. You got a good son there OLF, you should be very proud.
Awesome video guys, It's great to see the 2 of you in your normal day to day work having a little fun with each other. Wes, you are blessed to have Tim work side by side with you daily on the farm and have the relationship you 2 have. Tim is a very good sport to allow you to give him a hard time on camera in just about all your father and son videos. You guys ROCK And yes this video gets a thumbs up as always !
Just watched this Video for the first time , what a hoot, could not stop laughing , poor Tim he's got a lot to put up with but he takes the crap so well. Thank you for posting it.
Very funny! I have been on both ends of that situation. Being extremely pissed-off when something isn't working for me and someone else comes along and makes it work the first time and also been the person who comes along and makes it work. There is something so funny when the other person is so mad. Thanks for sharing! Bill
I sure miss my father when i watch videos like this. this goes out to Tim the older they get the more they will get on your nerves just be glade you still have him to bug you.
Really enjoyed the video I'm glad I'm not the only one running around setting tires on the bead with starting fluid also someone should invest in some Ken tools 52 inch tire irons for Tim they really help with my tire changing anger lol
Explosion=rapid expansion of gasses, usually involving a change in state - solid or liquid to gas. When used to seat a tire, the conversion of liquid to gas through combustion does 2 things: 1 makes the liquid into a gas - which takes up more room, and 2 heats the gasses, which causes additional expansion. This creates a rapid growth in volume, which pushes the bead onto the seat. But more volume is lost between the bead and rim before the bead seals than was supplied by the liquid to gas conversion, so as the temperature drops, the remaining gasses don't have sufficient volume to fill the tire, and a vacuum is thus created, which could be strong enough to unseat the tire bead. Which is why you must supply air to maintain the seat, and pressurize the tire once the flames go out. I've used a ratchet strap around the center of the tread a couple times to bend the beads to the seats, so I could get a seal for the compressor to push the beads into place without a explosion. With as many tires as you guys go through lately it might be worth trying to find a tire machine, but some of the tires are big enough that I don't know if they make a big enough one. You could also try to get a few bucks from your neighbor farmers for letting them use it. One of these days I know we'll see a video of wes hanging helpless from a loader or something because he pushed the sasquatch too hard.... There's just too much heavy equipment to safely antagonize someone who is already pissed.
It sure if this video was before the tractor burning video and I guess the hay didn’t catch sooooooo. What I am saying is that too many insurance claims due to fire and the arson word starts getting thrown around by your agent. Not trying to be an ass, just speaking from experience. I know shit happens though. Farm on boss!
Totaly sympathise - I've thrown tools around my shop before but usially get even more pissed-off when they break so I haven't done it for a few years now! Great video Wes.
props to you both, nothing wrong with venting frustrations once in a while; and some good natured ribbing from somebody near and dear can make it all worthwhile in the end...
Tim it is hard not to pick on you right now but you earned it calm down kid enjoy farming and enjoy snatchsquatches they are good for all of us but best un seen great video guys thanks and be safe.
LMFAO watching this again watched it when you first posted it but saw the vid on the side had to check it out again too funny Tim was pissed but all it good fun lol
It's part of physics, Temperature and Pressure are directly connected, increase either one you increase the other. As in the combustion chamber of a diesel.
As air is heated it expands in volume (fills more space). When it cools, it reduces in volume (fills less space). The fire super heats the air causing it to expand rapidly in the confined space(the tire) thus forcing the tire onto the bead. The down side to this method is; some dummies use far too much combustible (lighter fluid, carb cleaner, starter fluid, etc.) and wind up blowing the side clean out of the tire and injuring themselves, and/or others. Another example of "a little bit goes a long way".
Neathway Actually, I think it's opposite of that. It needs to be lean enough to produce excessive pressure. Being rich with too much fuel will hinder the a/f ratio and will not continue to burn in the absence of oxygen inside the tire. Probably just poor tires though. I'd like to see a UA-cam video of one failing. Supposedly it's deadly.
Nicholas Smerk the tire doesn't fail, it ejects the rim out that bitch, like launching a rocket. he sprayed a lot of ether and it burned slow. When we do it, we use just a squirt and the tire POPS onto the wheel in very scary fashion. I don't know if starting fluid is has changed over the years, or if the amount you administer changes how it reacts. We used to mount any tire larger than 38" like this because we didnt have a cheetah. They would jump about a foot off the ground when you hit them with the flame. Scary shit.
Diesel Ramcharger when I was younger, I was under the impression that they changed it, but I'm not sure any more. I've only ever used a single squirt in a tire.
Very good video, but regarding the tyre inflation. I do exactly what you do with the flame, so it isn't a know it all safety thing, I just stand back a bit more this week. a chap got killed by the tyre exploding a few miles from us last week and it made me think a bit!
Oh Lord, won't you buy Tim, a Sasquatch condom. Tim's counting on you Lord, so he can get it on. Tim waits for delivery, each day until three. Oh Lord, Tim don't want no, Sasquatch VD.
Oxygen does not burn, it aids the fire triangle as an oxidizer to complete the chemical chain reaction, in this case, the combustibility of starter fluid.
haha I feel ya Tim. As a farmer's son, I know exactly how you feel. Trying to do something and exhausting every available option only to have your dad come and fix it for you first try. It's so frustrating but at the end it's nice to have it done and know how to do it the next time.
You should make your own sing-along CD. About the one lonely firing in the Sasquatch. And sell on your website for like 25 that would be funny and I definitely would buy him one. Lol
With all the tires i see you guys change, why not built some sort of press that can push down parts of the tire from above and make it easier to change if by yourself. It could be adjustable to accnt for different diameters
Here's how the ether tire inflation actually works: Gaseous Ether reacts with oxygen according to the formula C4H10O + 6 O2 --> 4 CO2 + 5 H2O + heat. So 7 gas molecules get converted into 9 molecules and that causes a ~ 2/7 (28.57%) increase in volume. The heat given off in the reaction also causes an expansion of these gases according to the ideal gas law, PV=nRT where P=pressure, V=volume, n=amount of reacting ether and oxygen, R=constant T=temperature thus the heat given off requires either the pressure or the volume or both to increase an equal amount. Once it has expanded the hot gas created begins to cool and thus shrink inside the sealed tire bead, meaning you better fill it with compressed air before it loses it's bead seal. BTW, you have chemistry geeks watching your channel too. Whats this about a snatchsquatch in the woods nearby?
This video was as funny as hell, lol.. I think its good to blow off steam every once in a while.. As long as no one gets hurt, I say, have fun Tim.. LOL..
That's funny. Were not laughing at ya Tim, we're laughing with ya. This will be one of them funny moments with your dad years down the road. I'm about the same age as you and have been in your shoes. I know I have days like this with my old man. We've been butting heads over a few things here at the farm lately, but its all part of the fun.
If you wanna get all propeller-headed about it, technically the air inside the tire is just cooling back down and shrinking in volume. But, yet another of the 1001 uses for starting fluid: Tractor crack. Now tire Viagra.
(C2H5)2O + 8*O2 = 4*CO2 + 5*H2O + heat. IIRC water has something like a 400:1 gas:liquid ratio, & condenses a touch (given a high enough partial pressure, obviously) above room temperature (unlike the precursors), so as it cools it will "shrink" quite a bit more than Boyle's Law would predict.
Hi Guys that video was the funniest For ages, darn near cried laughing at you and Tim, That tire wasn't a Sampson, or from the same type of mold by any chance. I got a pair of Harrow master 12 plys, for Dads combine rear wheels, He tried putting one on while I was away without lube. it laid apart on the floor when i got home. he kinda swore about it, so I lubed it, had a slightly better fight with it like you did and it went on both beads real easy with the tube in, just blew up perfectly centered and everything.. I guess it's just down to the lube and using your tool the right way! L.O.L Regards Robert

Tim is the best helper in the world! I remember being schooled by my Dad. Best days ever!
Great video . Lost my dad two years ago & this brought back some great memories of us working on cars together it's how we were.
Just watched this Video for the first time , what a hoot, could not stop laughing , poor Tim he's got a lot to put up with but he takes the crap so well. Thank you for posting it.

This is the best video of yours that I have seen so far. Tim Rocks.
Great to see the two of you goofing around like that.
thanks i needed the laugh
I sure miss my father when i watch videos like this. this goes out to Tim the older they get the more they will get on your nerves just be glade you still have him to bug you.
hilarious video! Tims temper is great lol! We need more videos like this.
Even in 2019 this is the best video 🤣🤣🤣
And he takes it with a smile and a duck you finger for you. Keep smilin' Tim
918 videos from you and this is by far the best one yet.
Tim Squatch Angry!!! Squatch smash! Squatch smash! Lol Great video! Having fun and getting the work done is the way to do it.
2018 and still one my favorite OLF videos
"Messing with Sasquatch brought to you by Jack Links Beef Jerky"
love the videos im always watching your videos just to see what is going to happen next... i think its awesome the way you and your son get along
you have a great relationship with tim and it plays well on your videos thanks for letting us watch
Really enjoyed the video I'm glad I'm not the only one running around setting tires on the bead with starting fluid also someone should invest in some Ken tools 52 inch tire irons for Tim they really help with my tire changing anger lol
Bless his heart. Great video as always Wes.

I might would have rolled that just a little further away from the straw trailer before I set it on fire lol
Its hay

out of all the videos i have seen of yours this is my favorit
Ahh The love between a father & son. Great video.
I had to watch this again and again
Damn near pissed myself laughing at this one
I can feel Tims frustration from here. I was laughing so much i was nearly crying. Sorry Tim ROLFMAO
Tim it is hard not to pick on you right now but you earned it calm down kid enjoy farming and enjoy snatchsquatches they are good for all of us but best un seen great video guys thanks and be safe.

Messin' with Sasquatch. Might be careful, he looks bigger than you and might unleash his Sasquatch power on you if you piss him off enough!
Oh my a sponsor for Tim and a whole line of new beef jerky commercials. I see great things in your future Tim, great and Hairy things.
i would like to see tim turn into the hulk and turn the tables on wes he he
While the young have passion and power the old have smarts and wits.
Father and son. My son and I have had our good moments changing impliment tires too.
Lol . He wanted to be mad but you had him laughing also .Very funny video.

Oh Lord, won't you buy Tim, a Sasquatch condom.
Tim's counting on you Lord, so he can get it on.
Tim waits for delivery, each day until three.
Oh Lord, Tim don't want no, Sasquatch VD.
you just made my day. thanks for the video
I agree with traakon. he's a good and gentle giant, good to have on your side.
Oxygen does not burn, it aids the fire triangle as an oxidizer to complete the chemical chain reaction, in this case, the combustibility of starter fluid.
Time & practice Tim & you'll have it down. You guys have fun - we like it !
Brilliant. Thanks
Wes you need to compose all the funny monuments from your videos and put it in one video like a blooper reel
I hate tires as well. This was funny as hell. keep these vids coming wes! and did you ever get to test drive that deere windrower yet?
tims terrible temper tearfully triggers traps tonight. Ah tim, We loves ya!
haha I feel ya Tim. As a farmer's son, I know exactly how you feel. Trying to do something and exhausting every available option only to have your dad come and fix it for you first try. It's so frustrating but at the end it's nice to have it done and know how to do it the next time.
oh boy we have a Piggy in the house :-) you laugh is hilarious man. I love you guys you guys made my DAY !!!
best vid ever we need more of the angry tim makes for some funny videos
How tall are you guys?
You should make your own sing-along CD. About the one lonely firing in the Sasquatch. And sell on your website for like 25 that would be funny and I definitely would buy him one. Lol
your videos are always so cool
Good to see dad & son have fun. Right tim
picked me up no end that cheers wes and tim
Haha hilarious, I get that mad when this don't go right!!
Transforms the liquid to a hot expanding gas thus filling the tire with a worm gas faster than the pump can.
PAM spray on cooking oil is the best I have ever found for making a tire slick.
Ahh jeez, I had to pause it for 5 mins to get my breath back from laughing.
what a great video never heard wesley laught so much
He remember this, for the rest of his life. By the way, more videos with bad language please.
That video definitely MADE MY DAY :DDDD
sowas von
still one of most funniest videos ever
omg can we please see more of tims temper please!!!!!!
we always let the people at the tire shop change the tires. They have the proper equipment and it isn 't expensive at all.
I Love Tim he's a good Kid!!!!
That's how I tease my son, and the madder gets, the harder I laugh 😂
Nice video
I almost pissed myself at the condom thing 😂😂😂
me to lmfao
What is the thing you use to help your joints you were talking about?
With all the tires i see you guys change, why not built some sort of press that can push down parts of the tire from above and make it easier to change if by yourself. It could be adjustable to accnt for different diameters

Oh and one more thing, its better to be pissed off than pissed on.
***** The problem is when you're pissed off theres always some smart ass in the workshop who just likes to twist the knife in your back a little more.
andrewkiwi1 Yeah your right there. I've been on both sides on the coin.
LOLL Wes this is a great all time video !! Poor Tim dont take much for him to get pissed ,,, hahaha ,,, thats some finny stuff !!
That was good just a litter bit of anger and frustration towards the tire
If you wanna get all propeller-headed about it, technically the air inside the tire is just cooling back down and shrinking in volume.

1700:1 gas:liquid ratio for water, sorry.
Don't think i'd piss Tim off too much, sure is a big ol' boy.
This video made my day, Thanks! Haha
Best video I've ever seen
The new Jack Link's commercial.
I think this video is so funny that I have watched it at lease 10 times

This is one of my favorite vids :D
I find this whole thing SOOO funny!
Go Tim good to see him letting off some steam ,must have learnt it all from his Daddy LOL
Good stuff.
That hay looks a little loose?
Glad somebody else does this sounds like me and my boy
How come it takes them so long to realize that none of that shit really matters enough to get that angry?
Poor Tim. He has to be working on a farm that's from the fourties with no tire changing equipment.
Two men working together can do more work than 3 working by there selfs.
LOVED IT. :)
What did he hit with tire iron.
"you were fucking the tire?" HAHAHAHAHA i lost my shit :')
Tim's temper is hilarious!
