Houdini❤- great story. Our ginger cat had a similar story but all I have of it is the face of it - like a mask.
I have had issues with erasing on watercolor sketchbooks allot and found that "art gum" erasers are wonderful. They powderize, which is really messy, but they are gentle on the paper and really good at erasing. Their only fault is that super tiny details can be hard to get to, because they are designed to wear down quickly. Oh! And your art is very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
Hello! Fellow landscape format hater here…you have expressed it so well. Personally I‘m in love with square sized sketchbooks atm. Today i bought one with ivory toned paper.
Love your art. Your standalone pieces over the whole spread are so pretty!
Never herd of Ivory toned! I can’t express how good it feels to be in my normal sketchbook again
These are fantastic drawings and paintings! You keep a very nice, clean sketchbook. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing what’s next.
I´m using a landscape format scetchbook for almost a year now and I´m over it... -.- But I think it´s because it has to many damn pages. The format is actually pretty fitting for what I like to draw.
Also: I love your detailed drawings. Especially the animals ^^
Also also: Houdini´s story was pretty funny.
Thank you 😊
I was hoping the format would work for me but a few pages in I knew I was in trouble 😅
I feel the same with that sketchbook format hehe, nice video and good drawings
I am with you! I hate the landscape format. I was gifted one and after a year, I’m like 3 pages in. You managed to do some amazing work in yours though.
I wonder if the eraser gumming up is just a question of the quality of the paper. I can’t imagine that Hobby Lobby produces the best sketchbooks. Either way, fantastic work!
Thank you 😊
I would have to say it’s the quality, my first sketchbook from them was a marker sketchbook and when I first opened it made an awful crack sound. Slowly over time my pages were falling out. I never finished it
@@brittanybletz ohhhh that’s the WORST! I really like Stillman and Birn. Their Zeta series has become one of my favorites. It’s smooth bright white Bristol paper. I don’t know that it works great for watercolor, but I do a lot of Micron and ballpoint pen drawings in them.
@@jasonelambeth maybe I’ll try it one day
Is that the amazon basic one? If yes, I know why you had problems and the format was just one of them. You still managed to put some amazing work into this sketchbook, the sketches looks great!
Thank you! I got the sketchbook from hobby lobby
OMG, the Nuka Cola logo! Another Fallout fan?
I have nuka cola caps in a jar just to the left
@@brittanybletz that’s awesome!
Great drawings. Hobby lobby is a terrible company, I am not surprised their sketchbooks suck. Have you heard about them illegally stealing artifacts from undeveloped countries? I think their CEO was involved in some shady stuff.
My first book fell apart on me while I worked on it, after this one I won’t go back
So you used the wrong book. Use a different one next time, sheesh
