Always interested in what you have to say about trees in general. I’ll always be interested in what you have to say concerning identification of different species😊
Great stuff. Glad I was right with my guess, although I always struggle with cultivars. Love your channel and love learning about tree care and trees in general, so please keep on going and keep up the good work, Sir!
I cheated and looked at what one of our better nurseries’ library and discovered that it’s a Chokeberry. I’m in the middle of the Great Plains, so the same trees that thrive in Aurora do well here. Someone already answered correctly though.
Definitely good content for UA-cam videos. Identification, I feel is at the center of Arborist knowledge and should’ve never been taken off of the ISA exam. if you don’t know what it is, then you truly don’t know how to deal with it properly
It has been 30 years since I took the test. Tree I D was part of it. They had about 15 example pieces to identify based on the region where you take the test. I agree in the importance
🎉got the answer today 😊... and yes.. more videos please..Im always interested in learning 🍃💚🌲
Thank you 😊 I'm interested in learning!
👍🏻
Cool I have a bunch scrub oaks swamp pines and maybe maple and my wife has a bunch of fruit trees.

Mega-Ditto!
I vote for more on tree ID, nomenclature ie cultivar, et al.
With thanks,

How is Mark?
I'm always stoked to learn more trees.
Are you sure that's not an oak? 🙃
@@pamelah6431 it’s a Canadian Chokecherry
@@arboristBlairGlenn I'm just kidding.

Not cheating to gain knowledge. The more effort one puts into obtaining facts, the better we remember them.👍🏻
Do you ever encounter Catalpas (Catalpa bignonioides or Catalpa speciosa) in the area where you work in California?
@@88SC yes, they can grow quite large. Not a common tree there but I like them. Huge leaves!

I was close!
Do more!
Ok, I will do so. I believe that keeping it as a guess or figure it out process helps retain the knowledge.
Sign me up for tree ID
Develop a channel and I'll watch. You bet
Hopefully, you watch my channel
