- Been at this for 51 years now. I’m getting old and I really want to give back before I’m gone. Check out my channel. Go back and see the old jobs. Learn from what I have done. Share with other folks who love trees and really want to learn!
You are a mentor to me Mr. Glenn. I’ve been watching you for years and have been learning a lot. I apply your knowledge to my own trees and have seen the results over the years.
Thank You!!!! I appreciate you!
Take care.
@@SilvasSmallMining please, call me Blair
@@arboristBlairGlenn Thank you Blair.
@@SilvasSmallMining 👍🏻 I’m just a humble tree climber
I am not in the tree business, but love what I have learned from your channel. Thank You
@@MrJamesPottorff and you tell two people, and they tell two people and so on- wish it actually worked that way✌🏼
Thank you for sharing your experience and love for the education of a great natural resource!
I enjoy doing these videos and I’m not trying to make the channel a big deal. Just looking for folks who truly have a passion to learn about trees.
That thumbnail is of a floor marquetry piece I did for my last office in Saratoga. I used the grain direction of the wood to detail the objects. 9 different woods cut to a quarter inch thickness and glued to plywood. Used a router to make the oval in the floor after tracing this piece.
absolutely beautiful. Would love to see more of your woodwork on the channel!
Tress are precious to the beauty of our lands and give so much for life! Most people take them for granted and don’t appreciate their timeless beauty!
Everyone should take a trip to the great Redwood forest.
Trees are a gift of life from god.
And inhale while you thank the trees for the oxygen we need to survive.
Ever since I've gotten into tree care, I noticed all the stuff my grandfather did wrong to our trees over the years. So now I've been trying to educate him on why it's wrong. Such as leaving 1-2ft stubs on limbs he removed.
Show him my channel. Maybe he will relate to another old guy like me😊
I just hope we get more in the shop woodworking project videos once in a while along with the other fun tree videos. :)
@@josephkrug8579 it’s time for woodworking then

I've been a subscriber for a few years , always like the thought process and methodology of what you do , different species in the main to where I live but many things translate across . I came across a new to me tree on my property recently even though it had been there for a while but rather hidden , it's called properly a Aphananthe Philippinensis aka axe handle tree , so called because it's prized as a tool handle timber . Not too big yet but if it fruits I'll try to propagate some more , quite a nice looking tree .
Trees are different but similar all over the world. There is a basic understanding that is pretty universal (or should I say “this worldly”.
I enjoy the channel the content as well I have learned a lot of things from the content
Thanks Jason. Never stop learning. Life, knowledge, wisdom, happiness.
Love your videos cause they are so real compared to many youtubers that are fake sounding or just promoting products so they can get free stuff from the companies.
@@wolfpacva I just skip over the AI voices and manipulated false videos. What is real anymore? When the election features a convicted criminal for the whole Republican Party, one realizes that we are all being manipulated, lied to and treated like we are of no value. Sorry😬
@@arboristBlairGlenn how true just do what u have been doing it is great
Because I’ve followed you I’ve discovered the Swedish biologist Carl Linnaeus and why named trees plants and flowers in Latin 🤩👍
👍🏻
If someone invented trees, their company would be the most valuable company ever. Yet seeds are free!
@@ElectricityTaster interesting how when a new “cultivar” is discovered or developed through grafting or cross pollination, that TREE becomes patented. Weird world we live in.
Good good good .
@@BobE.Dancho thanks
Tree topping is my biggest problem when I go out bidding. People have had their trees topped before and so many want to do it again or for those who haven’t want to do it even after I explain why not to do it.
Once it's topped the damage has already been done I guess 🤷♂. At least they don't want it cut down after it's been topped - better a topped tree than no tree.
Education is not heard by all even when it is the truth. Lies have overwhelmed society so much that people just don’t seem to care anymore.
True but the understanding of not starting the decay process is so important.
wish more people knew you
@@pedrofernandes1808 I’m not really very good at self promotion.
@@arboristBlairGlenn well im just glad that u stick to your thing, without ever leaving that path just to gain popularity. Ur always genuine and u should be proud.
4:35 they absorb carbon dioxide and emit oxygen.
And without oxygen, we can’t live for more than a few minutes
@arboristBlairGlenn it always seemed odd to me that there was such hype about the "warming" from the same people that approve of clearcutting. 🤷
