They interfere only when threats are at planetary destruction level. Batman operates on the day to day basis with all of the headaches and plays that come with it.

I've heard people say that before, and yet I own several Batman comics where it's explicitly shown he sleeps through most of the day in order to recover. Although he does often go long periods of time without sleeping there's always a limit. Perhaps he only does the micro-sleep thing when he's working on a time sensitive case, as there's absolutely no way a human would be able to function on that high a level with that little sleep for an extended period of time. That's when it starts to get into "Batgod" territory and things become less interesting for me.
This is the best example of why Batman is the one who takes care of Gotham. While it is true that the other members of the justice league could take on the Batman villains, they would have a lot more difficulty tracking them down due to the fact that most Batman villains are actually competent criminals.
This shows the difference between the Batfamily and other heroes, where other heroes take care of the immediate threat, the Bats think about the big picture. You can't do that without being a detective.

@@STARZZgenshin Not really. Barring that these are things anyway, Batmans main villains will usually get smeared going against actual superhumans in a straight "toe to toe" fight. Hell, they'd usually get dunked on by Batman physically without him even putting in real effort. The reason they're a threat is they're smart enough to not end up in a toe to toe fight in the first place. They're either working indirectly and locating them is an issue, they've obtained something that locks down anyone that would stop them, or the classic "Sure you can take me out, but that won't stop the (insert catastrophe causing thing here) from killing millions, better play along!!" Villains like Clayface or Killer Croc are an exception here, but those aren't known for their brains. Bane has both but only so much. He's smart but not near in the same class as villains like the Riddler or Joker, and his bulk would only carry him through low level superhumans. He consistently gets tossed around by the likes of Wonder Woman for example.

Both Barry and Superman can often be pretty blunt as well. The main difference is that they can get away with it, unlike Hal here, and Batman has no other choice but to work smarter. There are not that many problems that cant be solved via ridiculous superspeed.

I've heard people say that before, and yet I own several Batman comics where it's explicitly shown he sleeps through most of the day in order to recover. Although he does often go long periods of time without sleeping there's always a limit. Perhaps he only does the micro-sleep thing when he's working on a time sensitive case, as there's absolutely no way a human would be able to function on that high a level with that little sleep for an extended period of time. That's when it starts to get into "Batgod" territory and things become less interesting for me.

@@STARZZgenshin Not really. Barring that these are things anyway, Batmans main villains will usually get smeared going against actual superhumans in a straight "toe to toe" fight. Hell, they'd usually get dunked on by Batman physically without him even putting in real effort. The reason they're a threat is they're smart enough to not end up in a toe to toe fight in the first place.
They're either working indirectly and locating them is an issue, they've obtained something that locks down anyone that would stop them, or the classic "Sure you can take me out, but that won't stop the (insert catastrophe causing thing here) from killing millions, better play along!!"
Villains like Clayface or Killer Croc are an exception here, but those aren't known for their brains. Bane has both but only so much. He's smart but not near in the same class as villains like the Riddler or Joker, and his bulk would only carry him through low level superhumans. He consistently gets tossed around by the likes of Wonder Woman for example.

This is why Hal takes a back seat to Barry Allen. Hal is a hammer and rarely bothers to look at the big picture. Barry is efficient and concise. He would have at least asked Bats what's going on.
Both Barry and Superman can often be pretty blunt as well. The main difference is that they can get away with it, unlike Hal here, and Batman has no other choice but to work smarter. There are not that many problems that cant be solved via ridiculous superspeed.
