Have you seen that Haruspis from 343 Industries confirmed that the Created are still active, but have fractured and now are seperately ruling their own colonies? Some in more benevolent ways than others. In other words, Halo has its own Necrons now.
Created AI Infighting?
Despite how they fumbled the Created storyline, that’s pretty interesting. I hope it gets mentioned in the upcoming books.
@@J0J0Reference Me too. I also hope its actual Lore thats being considered and not just word-of-god Headcanon. Personally, I was hoping the Created would try to mimic the Forerunner Ecumene, by reorganizing into a Council, with different AI's fulfilling Forerunner Rates.
For example, Governor Sloan would be a Lifeworker, as he had a good relationship with his Colonists and they trusted him fully.
Halo has become a bit like 40K now. Soo many factions all fighting each other.
@@J0J0Reference They could come up in the new Didact book thats post Halo 4.
Not asking for a variant, I just wanted to say I love your videos! Thank you 00 for putting in so much work and effort for all us Halo freaks out there!
The decreased radiation emited might be referencing whenever a spartan's shield breaks it gives off that static blue flash, it could dampen that signature and not act as a flare if the user were to be damaged but still undetected via fall damage or a stray shot.
This is the right answer
It might have something to do with the micro-fusion energy that MJOLNIR runs on. Covenant ships and specialist troops likely have equipment to pick up on radiological sources, so integrating some sort of EMCON system into MJOLNIR in order to mitigate errant radiation would prove extremely beneficial for USNC reconnaissance forces.
Or maybe because the armor were assigned to the Operation Red Flag. A Spartan with recon armor could maybe survive if outside the ship they're capturing if they use slipstream travel, I guess?
might also have something to do with halsey's ideas for the mjolnir mk vii being capable of slipspace reinsertion
{Insert your "can I have recon joke" here.}
Can i haz recon?
Couldn't the Cherenkov radiation emission refer to radiation from the micro fusion reactor powering MJOLNIR? A nuclear reaction can generate fast neutrons, which produce Cherenkov radiation when passing through a suitable medium.
I’d love to see an Operator Gen 1 breakdown. I assume that Gen 1 and Gen 2 are separate projects that happen to share the same name, because it seems like they have entirely different applications
Another great breakdown like always. And this marks part 5 of me asking for CQC, but can't wait to see whatever comes next!
Coming soon!
@@Installation00 great news, love to hear it!
To be fair it is only in one game.
halo CE,2,3,halo 3 odst,3,halo wars,halo wars 2,4,5, infinite NPC's | most detailed breakdown
Looking forward to the breakdown of my preferred set: the OPERATOR
Maybe the turankov radiation has to do with the camo module that the covenant uses
So many great memories of this while the Halo 3 era. I have always loved the ODST design and lore but this particular armour is so intriguing.
I’m interested in hearing about CQC armor, Grenadier armor, Security armor, Soldier armor, and/or Commando armor.
I’d say you do which ever you are most interested in and I’m sure you’ll get to all of these eventually but of all the different variants these are the ones I’m the most interested in. I apologize for not being particularly specific but I can’t choose any specific one over the other because I like all these variants.
I'm assuming the Čerenkov radiation mitigation was due to the (then) planned Gen 1 MK VII features.
Notably the Slipspace De-insertion capabilities.
And it was just being worked out on the Recon platform.
When JFO :)
Would be interesting if they do ever come up with a merged Scout/Recon MJOLNIR variant. Would be a bit redundant with Trailblazer and Celox existing with Gen 3, unless they figured out how to combine the best of both worlds into one.
I don't trust 343 after the tragedy of the cone-faced looking scout armor. All practicality left that grounded look bungie created for their own power-rangers in space look. (Although infinite looks like a step in the right direction).
@@xxechoesxx420 I personally like GEN2 Scout/Celox, so I can't say the same. Mark 6 Scout was just as goofy looking but it was still my mainstay helmet until I unlocked ODST back in the day.
Narrowing my choices down to these armors:
ORION
ODST
MIRAGE
AVIATOR
MARINER
PILOT
Military Police
AKIS
PREFECT
RECRUIT
VENATOR
RAKSHASA
I’m new to Halo Infinite, last time I played Halo online was over 10+ years ago. I’m curious, how do you get the Halo 3 armor appearance?
"Refined" and "Improved"... Literally one of the worst looking variants of recon. Screw both halo 4 and 5's "recon" armor.
Surprised you didn't mention the Trailblazer variant. Not that it's good anyways..... thank you for this! My all time favorite Mjolnir armor
When Inny00 makes a promise, he keeps it.
I do know why I'm subbed.
:)
Are you going to do some of the gen-2 sets? Like:
Defender
Athlon
Pioneer
Soldier
Recruit
Suture
Who tf cares about any other recon armor besides halo3? The armor became lame after that sadly
i feel like the radiation masking is maybe in response to the njolnir battery pack? idk much about that kind of radiation or if it woild be present in the nuclear battery pack but maybe the writers thought thats how it works
Waiting for the Helioskrill Armor Breakdown
Maybe the real treasure was the Recon we can Haz along the way
Warmaster, Recluse and Achilles armor/helmet seem to do the same
So is 8:51 Recon?
Yup, with attachments to the helmet
What is the name of this soundtrack at 1:14?
Can you do Firefall and Enigma??
Why don't you cover the lore for the halo 5 versions of the armor sets? I personally really like the excerpt about the "RECON GEN1" helmet.
The 4 and 5 are the same
Cqb unlesd you did it already
11 minutes 7 seconds, very nice
Odd, seems everyone that ownes both the Highcom and Viator shoulders equip them both idk what's so satisfying about that setup. (Maybe it reminds me of my reach setup? Idk)
Love to hear about the anibus armor set and how the human and sangheili created it
Here we goooooooooooo
I greatly enjoy these. One critique is that I wish you would use a more generic armor set when showing them in Infinite. I know we only really get helmets most of the time but having the highly decorative and rare shoulder pads on them while showing the helmets is somewhat distracting, at best. Having the more standard shoulders would be more fitting for a showcase of the helmet.
I love Recon. It’s still my choice for my armor in Halo Reach. There’s just something so iconic about the helmet, to me.
Argus next?
I love your content. It gave me a whole new understanding of how things work.
Oh scout and reacon and I've been thinking for a moment that it's same video.
My favorite helmet
More recon tomorrow?!😆
Are the teleporters we find on maps such as Ascension or Chiron, are they a form of slip space in a way?
Wow, back to back uploads. These two kits were my favorites back in the day
How about Pilot?
Ayyy, nice! 👍
I'd be interested in seeing the Belos armor from MCC. If there's enough info about it of course
I can haz Recon?
Commando armour.
I personally would love to see a Pilot breakdown next
Now, this is what I've been waiting for. Recon is LEGEND
I think it would be cool if agent locke comes back he wears the gen III trail blazer helmet, with a poncho of course.
I don't want him back. He was the worst done character in the franchise. I don't even remember him getting a cutscene for his death. Next time you hear about him was when you see his baluga whale forehead helmet being used as a shoulder pauldron
@@hf117j i mean your not wrong but as a concept for a character that's what I liked about him. A Spartan that directly works under ONI and does shady shit.
Thats what we were supposed to get anyway. So if not locke then I would be happy with a new character (that's well written this time) that works under ONI as a spy or assassin.
@@awesomearchivist1705 The key phrase there was well written
I want my spartan poncho
@@hf117j lore wise he was kinda interesting but game wise not so much
Locus has always looked interesting to me, would be cool to see that broken down at some point
love ending my work day with relaxing to some Halo lore 🤝
Gosh.... I have so many of these to catch up on.
Question: Would New Eden factions in EVE Online be considered more powerful then the Covenant while still below the Forerunners but very powerful in their own right?
In New Eden ships can reach tremendous sizes and shipyards and trade stations meant to hold entire fleets passing by are common place across the region. They may not be any Forerunner megastructures but they are huge in size and the vessels are powerful. They are great infrastructure advance achievements. And there are other factions in the game's universe that have made ships over 50km in width in the void.
The Covenant may have High Charity but that took a long time to build overtime plus other aiding factors.
I don't play eve online but how do the ships you mention compare to the Mantles Approach ? Which is over 350km tall and has gravity beams and composers with antimatter and hardlight weaponry with smart programmable matter that rebuilds itself that carries millions of sentinels and Prometheans? Just curious
@@jackalsniper892
I believe Mantle's Approach is far more powerful and durable then the EVE Online Titans. It shrugs off the Infinity and the many manu Orbital Defense Mac cannon platforms like flies hitting a car at high-speed. It's size would also have to be supported by a extremely strong material as well which Forerunner metal is extremely tough and hard to dent or crack.
Though I do believe a EVE Online Titan could likely win against the Infinity since these things have proven their own strengths in massive battles before.
@@thorshammer7883 alright can you give me an example of how strong those ships are tho, because the infinity whilst may not having to survivability has 2 Mac cannons that would be mounted on an orbital defense platform, and it pierced the Mantles Approach before the smart matter repaired it, and can gut 3 and a half covie ships at once, that's pretty impressive if you ask me
@@jackalsniper892
Well with the battle against Mantle's Approach it was more like a dent then really causing significant damage it you me once Master Chief deactivated the shields.
For EVE Online there isn't much people who cover it in depth there are a few lore channels on it but not many. Now EVE Online Titans are large vessels in size. Being over 18km on length and have a big thick design as well. In the largest of conflicts between players throughout EVE Online's history Titans have been known to last the longest in bigger fights even while retaining massive fire from multiple enemy ships.
The infrastructure alone for these ships must be very strong to support the structure and weight of the ship.
@@jackalsniper892
Titans even come with weapons called Doomsday devices that are charged up attacks which release a powerful beam of energy and charges once every 10 minutes.
I would love to see the command variant done
Can't wait for the recon tomorrow!
Id love to see one on Anubis
No views nice
Love this helmet!
I have always loved the scout design up until 343 got their hands on it (absolutely hate that silly face cone w/o camera visor). Bungie made it look so damn good yet practical. Almost like an upgrade of the mark IV helmet with recon support.
