I dont agree, Rippetoe nailed my squat and deadlift in. Ed Coan is too much power lifter and promotes bro shit like wide stance and sumo.
Rippetoe helped my squat and overhead press.
I tried Ed coans squat style but didn’t get it,however his Sumo deadlift style helped me.
For Conventional deadlift and bench press Jeremy Hamilton’s style helped.

that nonesense about hook grip being “horribly horribly painful” is a travesty. clearly that dude either has some bias or doesn’t know what he’s talking about. he didn’t even cover the benefits of it IE pronated grip, minimizing chance of bicep tears, stability/even tightness etc
lol greatest of all time and he teaches the barbell moving away from the body and hips too low, just lol at this. also, this is sumo, not the deadlift.
Sumo is deadlift, and he did show a bit of conventional as well. Hip height is different from sumo to conventional and is different from person to person. Quit acting like you're somehow more knowledgeable than a guy that can most likely like 3 times more weight than you at his current age.
