I've got a Himiway Cruiser. I'm running a 52V x 17.5Ah in the original battery cradle and I have a 52V x 20Ah mounted in a nice looking bag on the rear rack. I'm using a battery equalizer running both batteries together at the same time. On PAS2 or PAS3 I can get almost 200 kms (125 miles) range. I was intentionally testing for maximum range. I believe I can quite easily get 100 miles (160 kms) no problem. I'm also running a 48T chain ring and an 11 x 34 freewheel with a 718 aftermarket display. These mods are very easy to do and also is a very reliable setup.
I’m looking to add a 2nd battery for my Himiway Cruiser. Have you noticed any issues using the 52vx20AH? What brand did you use for the battery? And how has adding the 48T chain ring and 11x34 freewheel improved your bike? Sorry for my ignorance, I’m a novice, lol! Does it add more torque? Thanks!

I'm contemplating just getting a 2nd Himiway Zebra bike while on sale. That way i can ride with the Mrs or if on my own just put the extra battery on the carrier if going longer distances.

I have some time doing the same thing with my Aventon Aventure 2 with a 52V 25.2Ah battery that I built for it. I am able to go 80 Miles distance , all in turbo no pedals. 2Kwh combined battery.

I've still got the original battery on my 2021 Himiway Cruiser, and I regularly get between 50-60 miles per charge. I've gotten as much as 72 when I knew I needed to really conserve, so 60+ with dual batteries seems... disappointing. Was that pretty much throttle-only?
20mph throttle only. High current output for sure
Hi is the original battery from Himiway an 48 V 17.5 Ap ? or a 52V which is the Ap number, Can I ride both together or do I have to ride them separately

@@crazymachine2290 amp hours is just capacity (gas tank size) for batteries it more important to mind the voltage rating.
In this scenario the battery you describe would work the same.
