They're all brilliant though, even seeing these poor cows stradled across the bars poor things. If you still find yourself alone you can cry out to God with sincerity and He will come. It sounds like a story I know, but I was depressed, and suffering hurt and thought about ending it. I couldn't do it, but I was over in my mind anyway. But I remembered long ago a Bible verse I read that said if you called upon the name of the Lord you would be saved. So I called out, literally. I used every name I thought could be God's name. Please help me, save me. I swear it happened in an instant, like in the song I saw The Light. I finally understood the Gospel and I believed it! I felt safe and fell asleep and as the days went by I got better. I guess it's not the same for everyone that finds God but it was so amazing. I doubt I would have believed such a story before it happened to me. It did happen though. If you are that down, what have you got to lose? I gained a new life.

Low key idk if there is more of a humble and genuine person on UA-cam. So very wholesome, your UA-cam videos are so well done and you can truly see the care you have for the cows it’s not just your business and your job you truly want to help them.
Mid western hooftrimmer is very humble also, he has a vastly smaller following tho, to be fair I don't think he makes as many videos as GP but they are both good ppl with sweet families doing the same work in different countries, they have even met
Hi, I am a country girl at heart but was born and raised in the sixties in inner London. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong girl! Always wanted to get out but never made it. Then, my yearning was answered when by chance I found a little riding school and decided to volunteer. Now I get to groom all our lovely ponies and horses. Plus pestering the farrier for info! Its my privilege to care for animals, and its great to see Graeme work with such compassion for the cows in his care. I found my niche late in life - BUT I FOUND IT AT LAST!!! Sending love and joy to the HoofGP guys and to fellow fans 😊❤
I've always heard the statistic that sharks kill 7 people a year while cows kill around a 100. It's not fear to be cautious of cows, but more just good sense.
I have horses. It's always best to have cooperation because you're dealing with a 1000lb prey animal with a brain the size of a grapefruit. Most horses are very good, but can panic. I have a healthy respect for my horses
As a farm kid. I made friends with the cows. They were always calm. As I was part of the herd. I helped them with every part of their care. It seems that on larger farms, the cows are more skittish. We had 100 or so cows.
What a wild ride the Hoof GP Channel has become! Me watching it fascinated by the process. Hearing how these videos help people, making me feel even more part of an awesome community. Watching with my wife her also fascinated but equally grossed out at times 😄 Watching with my 4 year old son. He's fascinated, LOVES that they're helping the cows & we get to share a moment together having a cuddle usually before bed! We've truly got a bit of everything with this channel!! Thank you to everyone involved ❤ & thank you to everyone who posts supporting comments & replies ❤
I just want to say Thank you so much for your videos. I am one of those people that suffers from Depression & Anxiety. When I watch your videos, not only do I learn about cows & hoof trimming, but it calms my mind & soul. Graeme, you help people in so many different ways! I know you have been through so much in your life, and your positivity just gives some of us so much hope. I love watching you & your crew, and someday I hope to come to Scotland and see the beauty of your country. Thanx again from your faithful follower in Michigan USA.
I wanted to contribute about mental health🤚🏻 been watching these videos for a wee while now and keep rewatching them. These hoof trimmings, other popping, picking, cleaning videos satisfy me deeply and i never knew why until i found out i was autistic and this and im not weird. Or strange. This is just something that i like having on in the background because i passively learn. Its not forced. Its pleasant and on my own terms. - not to mention i LOVE cows. But the acceptance of mental health and how calm this guy is, is just beautiful. And really makes me as a follower feel normal and pleased
I turned to these videos after a string of horrendous health problems for me and my family this year, and they've saved my sanity and helped me smile. So thank you 😊
I found this channel years ago when I developed tinnitus in an ear after a serious infection. The constant ringing of the tinnitus lead to, not depression, but a low mood as I was trying to escape the inescapable noise of the ringing. Strangely the videos of an angle grinder trimming hooves was a soothing escape and interesting at the same time. I’ve now got used to the tinnitus and hardly notice it at all. Just want to say thank you for the videos that went some way to helping me through that time. Keep up the good work.
My wife and I will be visiting Scotland for our 50th anniversary trip next June. I hope that watching your videos will help me better understand the accent. I will definitely be watching all I can.😊
Binge watch 'Still Game' for a bit of help! It may not be the same accent that you'll be dealing with depending on where in Scotland you'll be visiting, but it'll give ye a head start! Please give Scotland my love! I hope to visit it one day!

Sorry to hear about those of you who are going through hard times. I have those times too. You are strong enough to get through it. That's why we are the herd!
It’s like being a former nurse, doing your job is more than often a joy, and peaceful, when nothing serious is going on or an emergency. So, you are mentally steadied and settled in your soul as you/I watch you videos, and it is relaxing. And it is very fulfilling to watch you help, however you can, and I did the same thing! You often do not realize, even a little, is more than you can imagine. Helping is helping and I am settled in my soul, to see you helping cows. Cows to you, are like humans to me. Weird? I don’t care what others say. I am happy!
Thank you for sharing your show with all of us and a special thank you for showing us all the beautiful Countryside and the landscape of your travels, again, I certainly enjoyed it all.
Kevin looks fantastic. I mean seriously, even before Graem said anything I was like, Dang Kev looks good! I bet he loves being able to move since his back surgery.
I am addicted to your channel, Graham. I haven't owned my own farm since 1995, although I really miss the place. Maybe it's because I can remember trimming my own cattle, sheep and goats. My husband took care of the actual farming and my job was the livestock. My two children did the odd jobs like watering, feeding, collecting eggs, etc. There was always something to do all year long. We had a local boy to care for our place if we were going on vacation or just camping up in the mountains or desert. We did all this and also worked full time jobs. What I really miss, though, is having canned vegetables and meat. Good, healthy foods, fresh homemade bread made from my own grown wheat. Fresh butter, eggs, salads and soups. So, I guess, you bring back those memories. Thank you.
It never stops amazing me that y'all have vibrant green grass there! Everything seems to breathe life there, even the stones and rocks! As a native born Texan with a Southern Mum and a Canadian Dad (who's Mum was Scottish born), I can say my Scottish roots are calling me back home to Scotland.
You make me nervous Graeme when you are using the grinder and not wearing a face shield 🫣😟 Love how much care you give the cows. Lotsa ❤ from 🇨🇦 to all of you boys and your family too Graeme
Same. He should be wearing a mask and eye protection. Safety squints won’t cut it and lungs full of grindings give nail salon techs cancer, hoof trimmers are no different.
There are so many content creators on UA-cam and other platforms that do this kind of thing now.. but I always come back "home" to Graeme and his lot. They don't try and gussy things up, make it nice and neat or overlay constantly with a practiced, written script all the time. They're real people doing real things with real cows and life just ... happens. All sorts of joking and laughter and ribbing, lots of squirts and splats of different things, slips and stumbles -- it's all kept in because it really shows us what it's like! Thank you guys, so much, for not pretending everything goes perfect all the time.
That's why I love TheHoofGP, and the Sheep Game too! It's real people working farms and professions, there's death and disease, troubles, and misfortune, but there's also healing, brightness, and a quiet peace to be found in a work well done.
Watching these videos is so relaxing. His Scottish burr is so relaxing to Americans, and they all seem to be genuinely enjoying their job. I grew up around an old dairy farm and cattle, so even 40 yrs later, cattle remind me of being a child. It’s very nice to see a content creator using the internet and social media to create an educational and positive channel, which is the only positive aspect to social media. Most of the viral content online is complete trash, so seeing one of the few great channels is awesome.
Everything you have been through was not for nothing Graeme, you are helping more people than you know through your channel! You are a port in the storm for so many of us, you have family you work with, beautiful surroundings, satisfying work, a wonderful family and you are paying it forward! How could it get any better!💕🇨🇦
I have been through many hard times in my life, but not quite so difficult or as frightening as what I'm going through now. Your message at @ 5 min went straight to my soul - it seemed like you were looking just at me and talking to me. Then, reading the comments, I no longer feel like I'm alone. I've loved this herd for a long time, and tonight even more so. I think it has literally saved my life.
As someone who’s had those dark times and places and am currently emerging from one, I couldn’t believe that you said about things of the soul that totally touch my heart in a cow trimming video. I really needed that. I hope that you read this and that you know that it made a difference for my day thank you, Graham, CHRIST IS KING!

Graeme, not wishing to be overly serious but when you are trimming with the grinder you are constantly blinking and squinting as flakes of hoof horn are hitting your face. To quote a very old phrase - you only get one set of eyes so look after them and were protection.👍
Extremely well done, Kev. I've been accompanying my partner through his weight loss journey (we follow the same diet and I help him calculate his macros, and I write recipes which are adapted to our needs). He has lost 3 stone this year. It's absolutely tremendous, and I mean he had a lot more extra on there. So, I know what it entails. It's really not an easy feat to pull off. @immortalnub it's bot spam. A confused bot at that. In Judaism, they'll spell god as G-d (I can't recall the reason) so the Jesus bit is very odd 😅
Graham, bless you for taking the time to acknowledge everyone who has problems. One step at a time, one day at a time. Hugs to all of you. You are stronger than you think.

Low key idk if there is more of a humble and genuine person on UA-cam. So very wholesome, your UA-cam videos are so well done and you can truly see the care you have for the cows it’s not just your business and your job you truly want to help them.
Exactly! 💯 💜

@otmshank4778 If he was from anywhere else in the world, you may be right. However, that's just the way we Scots look and sound!
True, but the number of cows in contact with people is much higher than the number of sharks in contact with people.

Watching with my wife her also fascinated but equally grossed out at times 😄
Watching with my 4 year old son. He's fascinated, LOVES that they're helping the cows & we get to share a moment together having a cuddle usually before bed!
We've truly got a bit of everything with this channel!! Thank you to everyone involved ❤ & thank you to everyone who posts supporting comments & replies ❤
Wish my fiance appreciated it. He thinks even the audio is gross!

So thank you 😊
I lost my husband two years ago, I watch to see the animals being helped. Seeing animals helped seems to help me feel happier, Thanks for that!
The World Needs Ya Allen!
You can get ear drops to help it... Among other treatments.
I think Cows are cheering each other on. 😂 I enjoy all the noises in the background. I love your personalities. I just love it all. Good Bless you!
My wife and I will be visiting Scotland for our 50th anniversary trip next June. I hope that watching your videos will help me better understand the accent. I will definitely be watching all I can.😊
Graeme is putting on his “posh” accent for this. Wait until you experience a full-blown Scottish accent. 🤷♀️🏴
Binge watch 'Still Game' for a bit of help!

I’m 59 years old and I’ve had my share of problems. Your positive attitude is why I watch. It reminds me that people can be good.

We really are all going through something, I've spent most of the year in/out of hospital with heart failure and I'm only 40. It is what it is, sending love and good vibes to everyone else going through something ❤️
Keep up taking care of yourself like you deserve.
Well, next to trimming cows you also could produce videos for the Scottish board of tourism. The first 70 seconds are amazing shots.
