It’s really beautiful there! My grandad spent the first 30 years of his life as a traveling hoof trimmer for dairy farms. He actually fashioned his own version of a chute to trap and tip the cows slightly to the side so he could trim them. He said he’d have done it forever if it wasn’t for meeting my gram 😊 he even made a photo album of his little Scottie dog that traveled with him, different hoof problems, dairy farms, the chute he made, etc. Your videos make me smile and remember how excited he was when he talked about being a trimmer
I am a 71 y/o grandmother from Utah,USA. I love watching your channel, my Grandparents had beef cattle, and I helped frequently with feeding, vaccines,& transportation. I never remember trimming feet or care you give. If they became lame, they were put down. You and the boys are truly amazing. I don't remember how many broken ribs & bones my father suffered loading & unloading cows & BULLS(the worse). You be careful. I also love your background music. I know what long hours it takes, and animals came first, your meals were optional. Once again thank you for your caring ways. Til next round.

When I was 15 my dad and I were doing the yearly checks and vaccines and whatnot to our beef herd. One large cow decided to flatten me like a pancake against a metal gate, she broke 3 of my ribs and to add insult to injury she pooped on me on the way out!
I've been pinned to the wall by a horse before, but I was lucky; he wasn't being mean, just playful. He thought it'd be funny to side-step and (ever so gently) squish me between his hip and the wall of his stall...then he waited until I'd lifted my feet off the floor to brace against the wall to push, then take a step back and let me plop to the ground. I know he thought it was funny because he was chuckling at me, the sassy b*&ch~😂 *Me:* That wasn't FUNNY, Santino! *Santino:* _laughs harder_

I have seen several videos showing the beautiful countryside of Scotland. In about two weeks I will see it in person. I will be in the London area for a tour of the British healthcare system. Then on to Edinburgh Scotland for a look at healthcare there. Have planned more of my free time to coincide with my Scotland visit. CAN’T WAIT!!!!
You are one of the most genuine creators on UA-cam. Your content is so informative and wholesome. I LOVE watching the farriers work on my horse (a bit more dangerous and eventful), and I was thrilled to find your channel. I so love watching you trim these cows and bulls. You’re a master of your craft 🙌🏻 but even more so, you genuinely care about these animals. Such wonderful work and effort here!! I love the longer videos ❤️
I’ve just been watching some of your older videos. I spent 5 weeks back in Scotland in the Borders for family affairs over Christmas & New Year. I realised when I was there what I missed over the years living away was just hearing Scottish voices around me. I think that’s partly why I love watching this, that and I love farming stuff. Who would have thought hoof trimming would be so interesting? A bit like pimple popping! Thank you for showing rural life as it is. 😊
My wife and I are going to vacation in Europe in 2025. I look forward to visiting Scotland. I love this channel. 2.23 Million subscribers. In one word, "WOW"!!!
I help with herd management on a beef ranch and our herds tend to be a bit more rambunctious because they're only routinely handled a couple times a year (they're outdoors 100% of the time). When we all start complaining at round-up because they want to do anything but what you need them to do (not their fault, I'd be the same way 😂), someone always mentions, "hey, y'all! At least they ain't calves today!" 😂
I really enjoyed this one, Graem! Kev and Craig are both amazing back up guys! They are worth their weight in gold! Mrs HGP is feeding you well!😅 Now that it’s starting to warm up, it’s time to get back in shape! Love and blessings guys!❤
Love your videos! Would love it if you could do an introduction video of you and everyone behind HoofGP. I've been watching for so long now, so I've picked things up, but it would be so good. Like how HoofGP started? How you all know each other and got into hoof trimming? Abit about you all and story would be so interesting even those who we dont see so much like cameraman, Robbie etc and not forgetting Mrs HoofGP because as we all know behind a man is an incredible supportive partner. Love to you all 🫶🧡
This show was amazing. I was worried you were going to get hurt. Thanks for taking such great care of these cows and sharing it with us I really appreciate it. Denise from Colorado
I have been watching your channel for at least two years if not more. Other than your accent you remind me So much of my late husband. He was A guy who instantly had a one line or come back to Everyone regardless of the question or what was said. He very seldom made his one liner Is anything but hilarious . In this respecthat I do enjoy what you're doing as well as what you're saying. God bless stay strong and take care of your babies at home as well as those on farm you visit.
I love the long versions, it makes my workday go by so much faster to have you on my tv or personal device. I loved watching you chase the cow around, it brings back pleasant memories of my grandfather and his cattle.
I'm a dairy farmer from Illinois USA, I've actually learned a lot from watching your hoof trimming Chanel. Keep it up and if you're ever in the states pay a visit to some dairys particularly mine lol
From Washington state in the USA. I love Craig, Kevin, and Graham. I was in Scotland years ago, and I loved it. You have wonderful people and a beautiful land.❤❤❤
Love the long Vids 💖💖💖 Re the first farm, people need to realise that farmers don't like seeing their animals in pain as it doesn't just affect their profits but farmers do actually care about the animals as they are their lively hood, great hearing you telling people the heifer wasn't neglected like some may assume. Hope Craig didn't get hurt too badly when he was kicked Farm 2 must give you a buzz when you see your glue on a cow when you know you didn't use it, yes you see the stock being sold but seeing it being used is a different feeling 💖 Poor Craig he really wasn't having a good day was he, firstly he was kicked, then block on wrong foot then covered by Kevin's iodine load, hope he's day improved 🥰
Agreed. I'm waiting for book Saving Gracie should arrive today....story of sweet Gracie cow 812 shows just how much the farmers care for their animals ❤
Even the most uncaring, greedy farmers will still treat their animals with care because that's where the money comes from. I really can't understand the "animal rights" type people who think a farmer wants to reduce profits by damaging his stock.
@@tin2001 agree, it's not just animal rights activists though, there are often comments about how the farmers are neglectful cos a cows hoof formed a ulcer or the like, seems these people don't realise that with prey animals like cows they often don't show signs of illness/pain untill it is really bad cos they then would be picked off in the wild 🙄
In contrast, I find these lengthy videos to be quite enjoyable. They provide viewers with a glimpse into your daily life and experiences. I genuinely appreciate this content. It brings back memories of my farming days in Puerto Rico, although I no longer pursue farming and now reside in an urban setting in Florida, USA. Nevertheless, those memories remain deeply ingrained in my mind, and the lessons learned during that time are unforgettable. Scotland possesses remarkable beauty, and your presentation of the stunning countryside has inspired me to plan a visit there with my wife next year, if circumstances permit. Please continue your excellent work. I genuinely admire your channel and find myself consistently drawn to its content. I can easily dedicate several hours to watching your episodes. Your channel truly stands out as exceptional. I have already subscribed to your channel.

I've been watching you for years. You've never changed. You all are still the hottest hoof guys. And do amazing job for the cow.😊😊 I don't think I've missed any of your shows.
Love these 'Day in the Life of Hoof GP' videos, because it highlights just how hard you work to enable you to enjoy the exotic cars you have at home. I may have missed some earlier videos, but it would be good to see how you enjoy your leisure time (what little you get) and have an insight of some of your 'toys'.
I do love the longer vids! I enjoy watching the hijinx and camaraderie between you guys as well as the cattle and their own tricks. The shorter videos, naturally being focused almost exclusively on the hooves are great as well. Keep up the excellent videos! Light, love and blessings from Kansas USA
Worked on a dairy farm in my youth and we had beef cattle on our farm. watching you guys work brings back many fond memories. Love the improvement to the animals health.
Crikey I haven't thought about the Krypton Factor in donkeys years, I remember watching that on telly back in the 80s!! Quality stuff as always mate, shout out to Craigy Boy's massive arms for keeping the coffee flowing and the hooves wrapped!
Thank you. I've had a hobby farm of 13 acres. Had horses, goats (I trimmed), geese, ducks, rabbits, ducks, dogs cats... I worked full time as did my husband (opposite shifts). Huge huge huge amount of WORK! So can't imagine these farms with dozens of cows etc! Love your videos❤
Genuinely loved the long form video & the effort that was put into showing the average full day. I’ve been in bed with pneumonia and it was a welcomed distraction
I cannot tell you how much I love Time Team, I have been waiting for Sutton Hoo, and you did not disappoint. Sir Tony, Helen and Jackie, with Matt outside digging, what more can we ask? Needless to say Sir Tony with his excited presentation is without a doubt, nails it.
I love watching your show Graeme. It’s educational, funny and it has given me a whole new respect for what good trimmers do and what cows can suffer. It’s great that you’re all related by marriage. ( guys not cows) and that you all get on so well. Keep up the great work and love to you , Craigie boy and big Kev.🇦🇺👵🏻🐄🐃🐂👋♥️♥️♥️
This was a super vid. I so enjoy u filming while ure driving. Makes me feel like i'm in the truck w u guys thk u for taking care of these cows & the random bull or 2. 🥰
I have no idea why Hoof GP came up on my UA-cam feed, but I really enjoy everything about your videos. Maybe it because I wanted to be a rancher or farmer, which never happened, is why I like your explanation of what your doing. I really enjoy your music, humor, when you get tongue tied, the countryside, your co-workers!
he doesnt get tonguetied? Its his Scottish accent and he realises he must anglicise it so that Canadian or US watchers will understand. Here in NI we have no difficulties. You go big lads.
@@DawnaLeigh Ah! I was always curious if they were married to his sisters or the brothers of his wife. I think this makes even more sense with their dynamic 🤣
Wolf , I busted up laughin when Graig said that then the look on Graeme`s face made me laugh even harder . Only family can take true shots at each other like that . I truly love when they bust each others chops . 🤣🤣🤣💪
Dear young man, thank you for these videos. I love your channel and the last video with your wife and son were very enjoyable to see. Beautiful wife, adorable son and I am sending some cheeker squeezes to you as my mother used to do to me, to share the affections of oneself. You are truly a gift for all watching and all the animals you help. God knew what he needed you for and you took up his calling to help his animals. God bless and stay safe along with your wonderful family.
Wow! That was an excellent video and I loved every minute of it! Thankyou! Precis : Never seen a horseshoe block before, never seen a semi naked team member before, Craig has fab arms, small cows are pesky, big cows are scary, bulls like to kneel down in the crush, everything and everyone gets splattered in cow pee and poo, but most importantly... you love 'em and do your very best for 'em to keep them happy and healthy, bless you all ❤
Absolutely brilliant long length video...I was sorry for it to come to it's end...it was like your ''old days'' videos which we loved tagging along for the day...I do realize that it takes so much extra effort and we do so love you for it........Best quote of the day ''Ask your sister''...thanks Craig...ATB

"Ask your sister." That's the best comeback Craig could ever have. He has peaked and will retire as the King of the Mountain.

It's not too long for me. This is the third one I watched!
The first cow at the last farm just walked up like, "I'm here for my appointment." 🐄 🥰

I've been watching you for years. You've never changed. You all are still the hottest hoof guys. And do amazing job for the cow.😊😊 I don't think I've missed any of your shows.
Thanks so much for taking the time to put together an extra long version! I love watching your day and enjoy your wonderful channel 🇦🇺
I agree. This is a fantastic show. Your sense of humour keeps the show cooking !!! Graeme you make my day…..:🇦🇺Thankyou
Craig on crutches,” I’m a little sensitive there now!” Hugs!
This was great, I did not evne notice how long this was, so I vote for more of these as you find you want to post them!
I was so excited when I saw how long the new video was!!!!! LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! Thanks Hoof GP!!!!🎉🫶🏻🥳🤩🤗👏🏼
I really enjoy the longer videos I feel like we get to see more of the prosses of the hoof repairs that we don't really get in the shorter videos
Amazing. Thanks for taking us along 💕🙏🏼
I always imagine the cows in the crush saying, “Look at ME Mabel…I’m FLYING!”
Onwards, Aoshima!
I totally saw that in my head, and it was pretty darn funny too! 😂
🤣🤣🤣
I came to the comments to see if anyone else thought this 😂
Lol exactly 😂. And the cow jumped over the moon 🐄🌙 !
Frankly, I kind of enjoyed this long version of the Hoof GP
Me too😁
Me 3
Me too.
me too!!!!!!
I'm from Saginaw, Michigan USA.
I'M not a farmer, have no cows nor any other critter!
Just a Lazyboy
Coming to Dalscone in 19 days from Florida. Can't wait! The weather go on a tour of Scotland!😊😊😊 hurry up May 24th.
I love the music you use! I also love how much you care about these animals. It is so nice to see that! Thank you!!
I appreciate the longer video. Allows us to see more cows and less time search for what to watch. 😊
You are the 💣💣😊❤ Graeme, Craig & Kevin❤❤❤❤ so glad people like you are in this world and helping not harming!! Hello from Colorado!!!!
Crikey I haven't thought about the Krypton Factor in donkeys years, I remember watching that on telly back in the 80s!! Quality stuff as always mate, shout out to Craigy Boy's massive arms for keeping the coffee flowing and the hooves wrapped!
WOOT! Thanks for the longest video you have done so far! I was tickled pink to see the length of this video. New music too! What a treat❣️
And .. thank for showing all it takes to set up etc! Well done 😊
After interviewing most of these cows, it appears they love you for your pedicures.
Really like your videos.
My wife LOVES the shirt!!
She’s a school teacher and she wore it to school today 😊
Now my daughter wants one!! ❤❤❤
That's so sweet
@@thegreatacolyt1277I agree

Bull are such magnificent beasts! Well done taking care of the heifer, too.
You put the best songs in your videos! ❤
You are all angels to these cows! I have seen you all take care of very damaged hooves. Thank god for you all. ❤
This was a super vid. I so enjoy u filming while ure driving. Makes me feel like i'm in the truck w u guys thk u for taking care of these cows & the random bull or 2. 🥰
Hi there Graeme! I just had to tell you and Mrs Hgp that I LOVE 💞 my One Herd T-shirt!!!
Just love you and your team! God bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻-Tina in Kentucky
Where in Kentucky ?? I’m in Pikeville ..
@@sharonmcguire4801I'm in Campbellsville!
Loved the extra long video & seeing multiple cows being helped.
I am from Canada, the video driving on the wrong side of the road is making my stomach upside down. I appreciate all the scene, love it.
I totally agree
he doesnt get tonguetied? Its his Scottish accent and he realises he must anglicise it so that Canadian or US watchers will understand. Here in NI we have no difficulties. You go big lads.
You and your team, Kevin and Craig always look so smart in your uniforms and are well organised. Fife lass! 😊x
Thumbs up 👍 for the longer run 🏃♂️. Good job 👏
"ask your sister" oh that was a funny comeback haha "craig is married to my sister" that makes it even better HAHA!!
Kev is married to another of his sister!
I don't think kev is married to Graeme's sister...kev is Mrs HGP's brother 🤔 😳
Thank you. I enjoy watching everyone work and the cows get help.
I like the longer videos. You guys are fun to watch!
I really dug this longer video. Thanks for taking the time to creating it and uploading it.
Seeing all of this was brilliant. Being able to see the variety of issues you can be dealing with, and the different size cattle, was fascinating.
