If you are in the market for a huracan and care about the depreciation, it pays off to think about the model you want to go for. On average, the huracan market lost the same as the market. But the performante, LP580, LP610, and EVO Rear wheel driven version lost significantly less. Performante prices decrease by 2.9% only. The STO, EVO, and expected rate for the Tecnica are higher than the market average. They fluctuate between 9 and 15%.
All of this of course does not mean that we will see the same depreciation rates during 2024. In all likelihood prices will continue to drop in the foreseeable future, but I see a slight increase in downside price risk in the Huracan market.

As a STO owner, its a shame they made so many of them. The car itself is incredibly special and feels quite different from all the other Huracan models. I didn't buy it as an investment, and drive it at least a few times a week, but if they limited production on them like previous "race spec" lambos, it would have made it even more special!
do you know if there's a real number of the production? want to get on in the next 2 years as well, but I feel like to will be a million dollar car one day especially since the v10 will be gone

Hello, and thanks for this video. Perfect as usual.😊 I think it will be interested to have data from more than 1 year in order to have long term visibility (Specific/limited car build)... For exemple, 2018-2024 price evolution for an Hurancan Perfomante.
An interesting fact is that there’s only 550 performante Spyders made, making it prob the rarest variant of all (I have no clue about sterrato).. for a couple of years the perf spyders have held much better than coupes. I see you combined the data of coupes and spyders, wondering if there’s a divergence there if u split them up

I'd be curious how you might approach establishing a "baseline" for depreciation. Maybe take an assortment of generic, daily driver sort of cars to see how they've depreciated over time in order to show what baseline depreciation looks like. Maybe a sample of the most commonly bought vehicles such as Civics, Corollas, and generic smaller SUVs averaged would provide a good baseline to compare sports cars against.

I ordered a brand new Tecnica any thoughts on the future depreciation?
Clearly weakest of the range. It’s the newest and not a “special” model, just a mash up of all the greatest bits (hits) designed by the bean counters to maximize profit of the model before it’s run out.

You should do Aventadors at the same time as the Huracans and just make it a Lamborghini video.
