It absolutely is a threat, as it grows smarter it will do what was predicted in sci fi movies, specifically Terminator (Skynet)/Starlink.
Yeah, I totally agree. Just instead of walking terminator humanoid robots it will be flying drones.
@@youaremopped It could be robots for all we know. The technology they show the public is usually 20 years behind. And AI is moving so fast now and evolving that it's entirely possible.

Well, I know Isaac agrees with you, but I think that's really a failure to imagine what it would be like to be in the presence of something that can think 10,000 times faster than the smartest human.
By the time we even realize we need to shut this down, it's figured out a way to prevent being shut down. That's my opinion.

Absolutes are often false. Many things man does and designs are destructive, but many are beautiful too.

@IhaveMyOpinion Maybe, but would you not consider that to be the case regarding AI? A civilization inventing a technology that leads to the end of civilization is, as you say, civilization ending civilization, no?
@@youaremopped look at the world and tell me if you can find civil people. Civilization has already gone nothing can hold society together . There's nothing AI can do now. That's reality for you.
A.I. can't even have a decent conversation with you. Can it play Wizard for me, in Gauntlet Slayer Edition? No! Is it anything like HAL 9000? No! It's all hype. 😂
It actually can do those things if it's trained to do so (just like a person gets better at doing things), for better and worse.

@@bugstomper4670 They've trained them to play doom, not to mention the many ai's used for game cheating. Just because you don't own it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
