How AI works, using very simple words

- The other day my mom asked me how ChatGPT works. So I made this video for her, and everyone else. I hope you like it.
Thank you to @ATRCuae for helping us all understand how AI works.
Thank you for watching Nas Daily!
Our mission is to bring people together, and that's why we create content that does exactly that!
It's not just a neural network. It's a transformer. And it doesn't feed numbers to network. It feeds embeddings generated using the numbers. Data isn't in one big text file. Data is divided into chunks.
It's not always about the size of the network. And all these open source or protected models aren't that open as they download all data. Be it artwork of an artist, a copyright protected article or anything else. Even open source model is trained on potentially illegal data.
He actually skipped from “a big text file” to “now it’s like a human brain” - like the entire hard part to understand. Hahahaha this explained almost nothing.
Many times when i search something related to AI I come across this talk about AI as a threat to humanity…😢
But I do believe It’s here for our convenience it’s just that we have to use it in appropriate manner🙌🏻
Thank You Nas Daily for letting us know the potentials of AI💻
I've been watching Nas Daily since I was 14, and I learned about a lotta stuff from this UA-cam channel. Thank you Nas Daily.
And how old are you now? Thank you so much for supporting us at Nas Daily!

As we all know that AI doesn't replace Human but their's Own Words of Work.
Yes! AI won't replace human work, but someone using AI can replace a person who is not using AI
I am not sure this is the information the vast majority of people need, but I appreciate the intent. We really do need to do something to simply use simple words, so that people will understand. The situation with public perceptions right now is not looking good. And if we don't do something to fix the perceptions of this technology, then that will lead to both of two outcomes:
- There will be isolation, where the vast majority of society falls so far behind due to the choice they make to never explore ways to derive usefulness from these systems.
- Investors will leave, because they will not find value in it, as the world will see no value in it. They will be influenced by the overwhelmingly negative sentiment.
If people would understand what this is and how it works, then they would know what that means, and how it can be applied, by anyone who will simply apply it in that way.
And they would know how hard it is (yet possible) to actually make it useful.
Most people are scared and confused and have NO idea what is happening right now and that is very scary to them.
"and no one knows how it works" As a developer, I can confirm that we don't know either. We just write code and it ends up working
That doesn’t even make sense. You don’t know what you typed in? Like what?
AI is either a hoax or it should be illegal. People saying things like that make me think it’s something that should be illegal.
@@mlc9928 Clearly you don't know the coding community, As a coder myself this happens across a lot of platforms and programs, so with your logic those platforms and programs should be illegal.
@@mlc9928Bro, people think we know what we do and we always do things right. But more often than not, things don't work and we have no idea why. Then we go to a random person and copy their code which they copied from someone else. There is no such thing as "original code". Why would I write something that was already written anyways?
Now I do more often than not wonder why things work, so I happen to review every single line of code I write/copy to understand and adapt it to the entire code. Most developers don't do this.

AI models necessitate significant computational resources and data, posing questions about economy and data privacy.
Can you explain the neural network in detail. I liked the way you explained.
No he can't. That's why he is so vague.
It's much interesting to get to know how they collect and process the data. I'm stunned there while seeing that text file with those billions of data. Lots of brains to work for a single supreme brain😅. All the best Falcon.
Remarkable. AI technology benefits include improved efficiency, enhanced decision-making, and the ability to automate repetitive tasks, ultimately leading to increased productivity and innovation
Yes!! AI is amazing because it helps us do things faster and better, makes smart choices, and can do the same job over and over without getting tired. This means we can do more new and exciting things

I'm a new sub. Thank you Nas! Very nice!
As an AI engineer, almost everything he said is wrong.
While machines have undoubtedly made significant advancements in various fields, it is important to acknowledge that humans possess unique qualities that make them superior to machines. Humans have the ability to think critically, exercise creativity, and demonstrate emotional intelligence, which machines currently lack. Additionally, humans possess a deep understanding of complex social dynamics and possess the capacity for empathy and compassion. These qualities enable humans to navigate nuanced situations, adapt to unpredictable circumstances, and form meaningful connections with others. While machines excel in processing vast amounts of data and performing repetitive tasks with precision, the inherent human qualities of intuition, adaptability, and empathy make us superior in areas that require complex decision-making, creativity, and interpersonal relationships

Hello Nas Daily😊
Skynet is becoming self aware
...and surprisingly, the Godfather of ChatGPT was sacked by OpenAI on Friday November 19, 2023 😭
So a new slang will be numbers? If ai actually too smart that it learned itself, then he can learned those words themself
Excellent video Nas. You explained it marvelously. In my humble opinion, while I understand that it takes so much effort to train an AI to give the response to your query with the sentence structure, period mark along with the accurate details, it might've been better if you could've asked it bit more complex question than that. Were you given a limitation by the group of engineers at building the AI(Due to any technicalities)?
Guess because this video is meant for the general public, so why asking a more complex question, as you said, when the aim is to communicate the idea in easily understandable terms?
@@leetientung While it is true, technically, there will be people among the general public who will definitely comment or think "Dude, I could definitely google the answer for that question. Why bother to ask it from an AI?" Which FYI, I _have seen_ in a similar short of Nas's video explaining the same, and the comment section was full of comments such as the given example. (In way ruder wording, y'know how the internet works.)
which was what compelled me to ask him, maybe there was a limitation on the AI? why did he repeat it even though the general reception for that question was not very well received in a previous video? I was just too curious. I do not mean it in any sort of disrespectful way towards the Team or Nas himself in any manner.
Thank you for letting me know where your concerns stemmed from. I've never watched the video you mentioned or even seen those seemingly unreasonable comments. However, what I'd like to express is that those who found the question too simple seem to have missed a crucial point, which is also the biggest characteristic distinguishing AI from search engines: decentralization. Unlike in the past, where one had to search for answers (line by line) on websites like Google, now, just by entering one’s questions, AI provides ready-made answers, as shown in the video.
Based on my interactions with ChatGPT, I can confidently say that AI definitely has its limitations-some of them may even be intentionally set due to ethical reasons. But the issue isn't about how difficult questions AI can currently answer or how well it responds. Instead, with the maturing technology, what can be assured is that it will only get better-much like the disruptive innovations that emerged in the past. The changes it brings are fundamental and cannot be overlooked. I think that's what prompted him to make a video like this one.
this video was intresting and AI looks amazing too but companies racing to build the best AI model kinda makes a probem because if AI technology develops like this there will be no point for human research so many people can lose their jobs because of AI and i think AI will not stop only by providing information but almost in every part of internet like photoshop, video editors, simulating sounds and many more in a way that it makes a problem in a near future. people's sounds can be simulated and used as a data to frame that person, AI appears that can changes the clothes of people or remove clothes that is a very big problem companies have to be aware of this. they can not just focus on developing AIs but also have to think about the after effects after that. what damage would this technology can cause. i am not saying that it shouldn't exist but it has to be filtered.
Artificial Intelligence can be both beneficial and harmful.
❤❤well appreciated

AI won't replace human work, but someone using AI can replace a person who is not using AI

One of the Best Explanations!!! Nas Great Work Keep Going...👍🎇
I try an A.I call Bard Google and my mind was blown and i agree with Nas that it can make us more intelligence. When i ask Bard about normal question it replied and always respond and say something optimistic like "your welcome!". But when i ask it back the way it respond was out of this world and it ask me a question back with full of curiosity like a little kid. I like to think that A.I are like a little kid who just born and start learning and it can really hold a conversation.
When i ask the fear that A.I will replace human job? It aware of it and gave me a list of solution but it known its limited and ask me soemthing like "what is your opinion?".
how human brain works is not clear yet, neural network is a joke
