I was very close to being as lost as that woman. I was into Wiccan, I was sitting in graveyards talking to ghosts (demons), doing taro cards, etc....and because I was raised catholic I believed I was still saved, because I was baptized as a baby. It wasn't until I came under years of physical torments by demons, which burned me, shook my bed and killed everything in my life, did I start seeking the truth from God. He allowed me to see the demons for what they were, and led me into His word for the first time. I saw that the name of Jesus had power to stop the demons when they attacked. When I pleaded to know the truth about all I was doing, and read the gospel, it was like a blindfold was ripped off my eyes, and I saw that I was wretched before God, and headed for hell. The fear of God came on me, and I repented in great sorrow to Jesus. I saw for the first time why He died on that cross and that it was the most precious gift we could receive!!! I knew WHY I needed a savior.. I saw that each prayer was like water in a desert! I sought out a spirit filled church and had help cleansing my home, and was baptized in water and fire of the holy spirit. I have since fully committed my life to the Lord, and my husband, daughter and son in law were all delivered and saved also. Then, God restored all that the locusts had eaten. All the dead areas of our lives were brought into new life, starting with our character, then our marriage, our finances, our home was renewed (it had become filthy squalor under the attacks), our relationships were restored, even our yard, where only weeds grew, is now filled with flower and vegetable gardens, ponds, and fruit and berry trees and shrubs. Its so beautiful!!! Our marriage was blessed by God (it had been a Halloween wedding before our salvation). Everything is different, we are different, we are alive and blessed because of the mercy of God and the finished work of the cross. It is finished! Praise Jesus!

In 2004, an old high school friend and I "bumped" into each other. Everything was fine and dandy until one day, he simply asked if his mom could read a bit of the bible to me. My smile instantly turned into a frown as I raise my hands up trying to "politely" decline the invitation. I remember feeling this instant burst of anger in a way...and at the same time thinking they are trying to convert me into whatever "religion" they believed it. Seemed like my mind heart and flesh was trying to rebuke the idea at all cost, I then said to him...."Look, I'm a catholic, and as catholics we use the same bible, besides I've been raised this way and not interested in converting to any other religion." At that point, he laughed saying, "relax, nobody is trying to convert you into anything, we have no power to do that, it's only in the power of the Holy Spirit". By God's grace, at hearing that, my guard (and claws😂) went down, feeling relief that he assured me they aren't going to convert me. I also thought at that moment, what harm it can it do to simply hear soneone read to me. I did not want to offend her by declining. That day, I sat on the sofa of an apartment building, as she read straight from the Bible to me (believe it was the book of John) and as she read....I remember feeling enlightened!!!! I had a smile on my face as realizing for the first time, that the bible can be read in simple english on cam understand! Seems like my ears have been yearing all MY LIFE to hear it!!! I remember asking lots of questions and asking her if I could come back so she can read some more to me. After that, I was hungry for more knowledge...after several months, out of the blue my friend laid a hand on my shoulder and began to pray for my Salvation...asked me a few affirming questions during the prayer, and at one point, I remember feeling this sense of humbleness as this friend brought my tiny name before this grand mighty powerful God. As he prayed I also felt a sense of regret over my filthy sin, and realized thaf without Jesus sacrifice I was completely hopeless. Praise be to God!!!! I was Born Again Halleluyah!!!!! The next morning, I realized something out of the ordinary...as if all of a sudden, I knew right from wrong, good from bad, and as I told this to my friend, he smiled and said "Yes...that's the Holy Spirit"

Even as a Protestant I don't think its fair to take a hit on the Catholic church because that lady is a catholic. There are evil unsaved baptists, pentecostals, Presbyterians etc who live in horrible sin. I know of wonderful Catholic Christians.

However it is primarily a fellowship scripture where Christ beckons his church to rejoin him in obedience and proper fellowship especially to the 7 churches of revelation of which most have something that had gone a muck in their fellowship with Christ. It can be used to witness and prompt backsliding christians to return to faithfulness in their Lord and savior Jesus Christ before it's too late. For those that persevere to the end shall be saved.
What is truly remarkable watching Ray in action, is that he never gets entangled in senseless debating and discussions. He is always immediately returning to the gospel message and not being distracted.... I wish, I could be as sharp and quickly back on my feet as he does 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I think the lady answered all his questions honestly, and I felt in my heart that she is trying to understand this friction that all of us are going through. She is trying to get on the right path. Don't give up young lady, keep on pressing forward, keep on praying, and have hope and faith, and you will find understanding for all of your questions... May God Almighty shine his countenance over you and keep you safe and prosperous in spirituality.

I’m praying for Catherine. I think she was prompted to remove that collar by demons because they realized it openly exposed them. Nevertheless, God allowed it so she would hear the Gospel. I praise God for Ray Comfort’s gift of boldness to share the Gospel in a compassionate way. Your ministry is doing great things for God’s Kingdom!

Why do you think the demons prompted her to remove the collar? Can’t it be front the conviction of the Gospel? I would be careful giving credit to demons .. she seems to have shown signs of conviction throughout the conversation. She even acknowledged that she should not have been talking to demons and that they deceived her. Scripture shows that the Gospel can bring forth conviction and like Ray says, it is a good sign that she removed it. Will be praying for her too ❤️
It's not likely Demons would do anything that divides their kingdom especially one the opens the door to actually hear the gospel and I'm sure they knew who the man talking with her is. More likely it was the Holy Spirit guiding her and doing His work.

Ray is so right about not allowing yourself to go down a rabbit trail when witnessing. When I first started out witnessing, I used to allow the other person to lead me down those trails, especially when witnessing to Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses. I had to learn to ignore certain things that would steer the conversation off course from the gospel.

It's weird. Even as an atheist, towards the end of my atheism, I refused to mess with Ouija boards, hated pentagrams, and wouldn't touch anything that looked like it was affiliated with the occult or wiccan. I also didnt like anything that looked demonic. I still follow that as a Christian, but I feel like God was slowly reaching out to me and showing me the way when I was at the end of my atheism.
That's because you have a conscience and you were only listening to part of it until God got a hold of your heart, as Ray comfort would tell you con means with and science means knowledge, with the knowledge of Good and evil that is preborn and predestined each and every human being whether they listen to it or not.

@@chrismccabe1795 I didn't really believe in any of that stuff, but I thought it was stupid to mess with that stuff back then. It was conflicting and weird. I thought messing with that stuff was just stupid, but didn't really believe it was dangerous. I thought it was stupid because the ideas behind each practice and symbol were stupid to me.
Anything that had to do with talking to spirits, the occult, Wicca, or Satanism was just stupid and a waste of time and energy to me, mostly. That's what I thought of it.
Now, I refuse to touch any of those things because I see those ideals, ways of talking to spirits, and symbols as being completely blasphemous and dangerous.
So I went from thinking it was all stupid, cringey, a waste of time and nonsense, to now thinking it's all blasphemous and extremely dangerous.
I sense that my refusal to deal with any of those ideals, symbols, or practices on the basis that they were all "stupid and meaningless" was actually God trying to reach out to me. He may have made me feel that way so I would be more open to him. Because, before when I was an Atheist, I used to regularly wear those satanic, wiccan, occult symbols and I had no problem with oijja boards.
I only stopped with all of that and saw it all as "stupid" at the end of my atheism, shortly before I surrendered to God.

Came out of witchcraft myself, this interview might appear strange but ultimately even people in the occult have a realization there's something dark, just from poor experience I didn't believe Christianity was true but even looking back I found times I'm praying to a God I didn't believe in to protect me.
Almost no real witches I know dress like this in all honesty, very well could be working with familiar spirits (demons)

People going to psychics or working in all sorts of spiritualalities know there's something dark about it. I knew and was told but I didn't believe in Christianity so I was sold everything has both light and darkness in it.
Ultimately if you seek God and you really desire his will there's nothing and I mean nothing that will keep God from giving you all the proof you need and showing you the truth, many make demands from God but in all reality they are testing God or honoring God with their lips but not their heart. God is very real and wants you to draw near to him and him near to you and that doesn't come from only man's understanding or logical processing.
I think the realisation of demons and the devil is one of the ways I got saved, because obviously if they exist God does too

Wow, praise God you are saved! I pray for those like Catherine and those who have been exposed to these sorts of demonic forces. It’s interesting that you say that even when interacting with these forces, that the people know it’s dark and something is wrong.. The Bible speaks so often about the light of Christ and the Gospel like in John. What a contrast to the darkness of things from the occult and other demonic practices. I just hate that it is such common practice in the sense that in casual conversation people will just share that they talk with evil spirits or use a psychic, fortune teller, ouija board, etc. They definitely need the Gospel ❤️ i spoke with a mutual friend once who reached out to me about my faith and shared that she talks with ghosts. I linked her to one of these videos and tried to share the Gospel with her. I pray for her often.

The bible states multiple times DO NOT BE DECEIVED in the end times, those that took the mark were all deceived into taking it, read the book! Ask God for wisdom in these evil times and set your eyes upon him that ye may be counted worthy.

I pray for this woman... I pray that all fallen away Catholics, by the grace of God, come home... and that people stop spreading lies about Jesus' church.
I doubt it, demons are very deceptive. She knows religion not Jesus, her mind is under bondage.

That man repeating the prayer made my eyes tear up. I felt he was genuine about it but no one knows the heart but God. And you could see the demonic influence in that woman, her eyes were angry and controlled. Her entire presence creeped me out even from a screen. I hope God dispels those demons from her and she walks in the light.

Teared up a little hearing that woman was raped her whole life. More I talk to people, the more I realize how common this is and more it breaks my heart. Even once, this is destructive in a child's life, repeatedly is torture.
It's usually a family member, sometimes a friend of family. Rarely is it a stranger. Guys, be careful with your daughters and young sons for that matter! Never trust a coach, a teacher, or even a family member you do not really know.

I worked with so many past coworkers various jobs and I've heard some horrible things too as well.
It's usually a member in their family and secondarily a close family friend.
That's true. Someone in my family was sexually abused as a young boy by a friend of his dad. And he kept it quiet for decades. The evil monster threatened to kill his dad if he said anything so he just kept it quiet.
Unfortunately that evil man died without facing justice in this world. And my relative's dad died without ever finding out what his friend did to his son. I told my relative to at least write an anonymous article to let the people in the town know about this monster but he just said it wasn't worth it to relive such a horrific scene.

As a Christian at 45, I was just raped and let me tell you the battle Satan was waging for my soul was horrendous and horrifying. The first 2 months after the rape, the attacks were unrelenting. I’m still struggling but 5 months out I remain standing firm in Christ. As the Bible says, Satan has to flee from you as you submit yourself to God and resist the devil.

Watching these videos and reading comments here gives me perspective of how far God has brought me in my journey to healing and I receive a lot of comfort watching these videos. I encountered a woman who also claimed to be a nun and even paraded around in a nun’s habit. She was very spiritual but definitely lost. When trying to offer her a bible, she said “I don’t need that, Jesus and I are like this - (fingers crossed, and OK).
At a later date, I tried a indirect approach by printing off several copies of a parable and asking a crowd and her to help me understand the parable. This way, it wasn’t a direct attack on their ego and I showed that I valued their insight. This way, I got her to start reading the actual words of Jesus. She was very surprised that this was in the Bible and it aroused her hunger. The next week, I shared my “need” to have another parable investigated. Three weeks and three parables later, my fish was hooked and now she wanted to sit down and study the Bible. After understanding the finished work of the cross, this crazy religious lady
was now born again and at peace! She had come to the knowledge of the truth and escaped the lies of religion. When the Pharisees ordered the temple guard to go and arrest Jesus while he was in the temple, the crowds were so thick, they couldn’t get to him and were forced to listen to his actual words. They returned empty handed and said “we’ve never heard anyone talk like this before”. My point is, we can tell people who Jesus is and that they must accept Him, but scripture tells us no man can come to Jesus unless the Father draws him. We must present the teachings of Jesus to make people curious and hungry.

Ray, thanks for doing what you do. A few years ago, a neighboring family who were good friends of ours (and our kids) sold everything they had to go spread the gospel in South America. We are fortunate enough to see them once or twice a year and we do our best to make sure they have all the home-cooking we can throw at them! Lol. Their visits with us are such a blessing and we feel privileged to be able to host their family for a day.

Asking someone their sins publicly is humiliating. This is why there are confessionals! Christ has a heart of mercy that no one can fathom the depths of and if we are truly sorry for sinning than we are forgiven, but we still have to stone for those sins! True sorrow means amending your life!

So often I've had weird questions, second/third parties popping in asking something, and the like: it's far better to press on rather than get distracted.
If necessary, one of the most useful tools is simply to say "I'd like to finish talking about this first, then we can get to that after we're done, if you'd like."
I've found that the vast majority of the time, folks are not only okay with waiting, by the time you get to the end they simply don't care about that rabbit trail they brought up anymore. A few rare instances have popped up where they wanted to discuss it some more, but these are few and far between.
Don't seek to deceive whatsoever when you're 'pushing off' dealing with the rabbit trail - be willing to speak about it as needed - but get to the main thing (the Gospel message!) first, and recognize that most of the time these rabbit trails are simply 'spur-of-the-moment' distractions that do not come from genuine curiosity.
