Xbox doubles down on "no console needed" in new partnership with Amazon. Will this help or hurt Xbox? New allegations against Dr. Disrespect surface and UA-cam reacts to these.
Xbox can put gamepass on everything capable of recieving a signal. PlayStation is still going to have more engagment and give their customer base more enjoyment with gaming.
How can they have more engagement WITH LESS GAMES to play and with limited options or ways to play said games. Remember they (Sony) cut off 177 Countries from engagement.. So please explain how are they going to have more engagement again?

@@Jagosix This is misinformation and disinformation that you are repeating b/c you have been misled and misinformed by people playing gaming politics and running narratives. There are 195 sovereign nations. 193 are members of the United Nations. The Vatican and Palestine are the two that are not recognized. The 177 entities that were impacted are economic regions, territories, or markets. They are NOT countries. They are NOT 177 independent nation-states. The 177 number sounds much better as a feed for the narratives you are listening to. When you talk countries the ratio is 70 that are not impacted vs ~120 that are. Now let's talk number of gamers in those regions, and that narrative gets obliterated. And the reason PSN isn't in those countries is due to matters of regulatory policies and infrastructure that make the business case untenable for PlayStation's P&L OKRs. The actual impact is much less and is not significantly different different when correctly quantified than the footprint for XBox.
@Jagosix How can PlayStation have "less games" to play, when they also have Xbox games?
With PlayStation, you're getting PlayStation games, Xbox games and other 3rd party games.
Not to mention you're also getting games that happen to be skipping the Xbox platform, and especially Gamepass.
It's like Xbox will do anything but foster studios to make good games, only Forza Horizon 5 and Gears5 have been real good in 7 years of gamePass imo.
@xtoper21 - Well that's your opinion on what YOU CONSIDER GOOD GAMES. We all have our own preferences as to what are GREAT GAMES. Nothing wrong with that. But why should that be a BAD thing? It's All good.
@@Jagosix of course is my opinion and might be wrong about gamePass swimming in 7s... What's not for debate is that Xbox is failing WHEN Microsoft is trying to acquire any competition, slashing prices like the Series S at $150 and even that is selling less than the OG Xbox and 360, spending millions on summer game fest while Nintendo for example doesn't pay anything and goes independent, and now partnering with fire stick/TVs that's also costing money...
As opposed to just fostering and having games.
Thinking that running games on servers is the future is just stupid. No matter how good the internet gets local hardware will also be more powerful. Servers are expensive plus electricity and internet cost. It’s a lot more cost effective for Sony or Microsoft to get the customers to pay for the hardware, electricity and internet.

@@noticeddamianI think it’s a horrible idea. The console sales are gonna take a hit. Again. Sure more options, everyone has an Amazon fire stick or tv so the ease of entry is there. I just feel Xbox isn’t focused on their own hardware anymore.
@@dood1234DOOD - Microsoft direction is not JUST and only consoles. They are using the Windows playbook and utilizing the strategies that got them to PC world domination. They're using GamePass as a Platform. The entry point to said platform are Phones, Tablets, TVs, PCs, Laptops, Hand-Helds, Consoles and now Streaming android Devices AKA (Amazon FireSticks). They're working on a New console and yet you still have doubts??? really... Why????

Well they are focusing on doing everything but bringing great games to gamepass.
Xbox gaming is for the streets, I now consider them equivelent to tencent, ubisoft, ea, or any large 3rd party publisher. The console is irrelevant. Gamepass currently available on almost every single piece of tech and still are stagnated on getting gamepass subs. Im guessing with them adding the service to fire stick will possibly garner maybe 25-50K subscribers and thats being extremly generous...I honestly see people that jailbreak fire sticks finding a way to get gamepass for free. Oh well
That would be crazy, free gamepass for all. Gamers win.
@Natureboy8383 - @jiggerypokery2962 - I have been Side-loading GamePass on the FireSticks for over a year to play test it. There's no GamePass hack that will allow free GamePass. It's Sub based that requires your account login and password. No way around it.
Microsoft is using the Windows Playbook to Utilize GamePass and it's working. Isn't Windows the Dominate PC OS Software WORLD-WIDE? Does the hardware matter with Windows? No You can use any PC. They're going to do the same with GamePass. Very Soon, It won't matter what Hardware you're on, it'll have GamePass on it. As a matter of fact, it's happening right now faster than what people realize.
@@Jagosix This is additional misinformation and disinformation. The most popular OS worldwide is actually Android. It surpassed Windows in 2017. I have said before that if the XBox business case was actually about getting more games to the most consumers and not about doing what is best for Microsoft, then it would be working on getting its service and games running on Android natively on metal, no just via the Cloud, making partnership deals and technical partnership deals with Google, joining the AOSP project, and pushing MDEP. But MDEP has taken a backseat to Windows on ARM. XBox's good-guy routine is a PR stunt and a spin. They are amassing efforts to drive enshittification, chokepoint capitalism, and oligopolies versus the free competition that they assert.

Sony and ms lost perspektive. Sony had alot of kids friendly games like jak and daxter... U need to keep capturing the new generation all the time and u do it with games like astro bot.
