Appreciate everything you do Barry. Hope you had a good Easter. My suggestion for next time would be to get some food safe silicone mold for it or you can make one by buying the polymer. By making or having a rubbery eg shape mold, you can avoid the risks of plastics since the food safe stuff would protect you and your kitchen. Love how it came out anyway, but you'd get a very nice result with less worry with a mold meant for this.

I said this elsewhere, but I'd recommend if you do this to like, do a double-boiler with a sheet pan or a casserole dish and do thin layers of egg, then make a sort of lasagna style thing using the egg filling
oooh, or if you've made egg-sheets, to just roll the filling, maybe with little bacon crumbles and fresh chives and shreds of cheddar into little egg rolls!

    Eggshellent.
For anyone who doesn't know what deviled eggs are, think of a deconstructed fancy egg salad made to look like halved hard boiled eggs. They're usually made for pot lucks and spring buffets (weddings, Easter parties, etc.), but I quite like them as a snack or a lunch. An easy way to make normal deviled eggs is to boil the eggs, cut them in half, take the yolks out, throw the filling ingredients into a plastic bag (that's the yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings (I usually go with pepper, finely diced chive, paprika, a bit of salt, and just a few drops of Tabasco, more for flavor than spice)), mash it all up in the bag, then cut a corner off to use as a piping bag.

I just got finished snacking on some deviled eggs I made for Easter this weekend while watching this video ~
I'm not sure where it technically originates (I have learned of at least one other person who makes a similar recipe, so I know it's probably some sort of regional thing and not just my nana's concoction lol) but the recipe I use actually has more of a sweeter result. You use your typical mayonnaise, then you add sugar until some of that egginess from the mayo is gone, but it's not too sweet either. Then you add some salt and cracked pepper to taste. I'll usually prep upwards of two dozen eggs for an event (so about 48 halves) and hardly have any left to take home, haha.
Nonetheless, this was an amazing video, and I hope your family had a wonderful holiday
