Found this as an extra on a download on Louis C.K's One Night Stand, and it seems this is a much better quality upload than others i've seen here on UA-cam.
I often wonder about this, and its not just him, i see same thing happen on old conan late night and i dont know if its the people : they used to laugh less, or somehow can tell that these comedians are not fully confident idk
Young Louie has Doug Walker-ish qualities to some of his deliveries. I know that to some that can be viewed as an insult but idk it’s just an observation I’ve had about this particular set for awhile.
I remember this special well, The 1995 HBO Young comedian special. My girlfriend and I had it on VHS and would get high and watch it often. Louis CK, Dave Chapelle, Anthony Clark, Dave Attell and some weird tall guy that I never heard much of afterwards. One of the funniest specials I’ve ever seen, and Anthony Clark had the best set if you asked me.
You can tell his comedy evolved, he was funny then, today his ability to weave a story is incredible and so greatly developed.
I miss his comedy. I haven't seen this before and I have laughed myself near unconscious.
Listen to podcasts with him on it.. you will cry 😂😂😂
Damn still holds up
“50 year old called Blanche or something”
Hilarious 20 years later he dated someone called Blanche lol.
That was before he found his inner voice
Just kept getting better 😄 he has so much more ‘flow’ now
I recorded this off HBO btw. I have it on VHS
So why are you watching it on UA-cam ?
He's definately more polished than his 1988 clip, but he is not yet the Louis CK I know and LOVE. Getting there!
Man, these bits killed so much harder in his later specials.
You're watching a master being born 😉

I'd love to slam you for bringing Doug Walker into the conversation, but Doug is a fan of the man so that is an astute statement.

Eric Tunney. He died, probably why he’s been off the scene
Dude why do you lie on the internet? We all know you just googled who else was on the show ...
@@MelanatedRepublican I still have it in the freaking VHS tape that I originally recorded it on. Be gone ye of extremely limited intellect. 🤦
He aged a ton from 1988 to 1995 lol.
Probably drugs. In Chewed Up, he does say he likes opium. I don't know what opium does, though. So, this comment probably isn't helpful
@@DrDolan2000more likely he started balding and grew facial hair
Marriage
The man is 28 in this show.
I'm 28 now and it's wild how much older he seems here than me and everyone I know. There's something in the water
jumped from 1988,what happend to him
5:06 omg family guy used this joke
Dead Hand Gang
Not bad. It's a little flimsy and not as pessemistic, but it shows promise
in 1995 it was hilarious. 2023 it's a confessional tape.
How he nervously says “mastabate.”
f'n ridiculous, but no one has ever done that before, just be totally crude to the point of hilarity. Especially not in Aspen.
I dont know what tom segura found funny in this?
Certainly funnier than Segura, which admittedly took a lot from Louis CK's style
This didn't age well
What part? I think it's still pretty funny
Sexy Louis
