Looks like a GREAT idea however my plastics snapped in the vice while applying "unscrew with force". They must have used real adhesive on mine. Haha Perhaps I will apply some heat on the next one.
Now I remember. Those things are hard as hell to unscrew . But I'ma have a crack at it . Tomorrow . And see if this fixes the issue . Cause I can unplug it and it will start but have to plug it right back up or won't run right
@Jusubbi DIY So you basically have to tune it with the screw its not like a normal choke where it's just on and off? And if you screw in the bolt, is that the choke being on, and if you screw out the bolt, the choke being off? I'd like to do this to my carb, but wanna know how it works before I commit

Sorry to hear.
Dude u clamped the threads tighter lmfao 😆😆😆🤷♂️🤦♂️ u can’t vice it down on the sides of the outter housing what did u expect lmao😂
Notice he didn’t have it clamped on the sides he had it clamped were the wire goes in
😮🎉 thanks a lot. Good video you made it easy for everyone 👏 👍
Maybe need to glue or loctite the plastic on the bolt threads? Very good tutorial
If you want, you can glue nut to plastic, but not in the threads. To use this manual choke, you need to screw that bolt 😊
@@jusubbidiy oh but I mean the choke part to the bolt, not the nut
To avoid unthreading the bolt out of the plunger holder
So you can't accidentally screw the bolt all the way out
@@grossteilfahrer Yes, you can glue it if you want. I didn't because it was tight fit already.
How does that bolt just fits theere?
It just does 😊
@@jusubbidiy i just did it and the bolt came out when i released choke
@@lauris4887 did you use metric or imperial bolt? This one was 8mm bolt and it fit tight.
@@jusubbidiy i took the first one that fitted 😂
What is the exact bolt size needed? Thanks!
I measured it at ua-cam.com/video/wBVqOoMwwXI/v-deo.html

There is glue in that plastic piece threads, so it's hard to open and can crack when you force it. Did you unplug whole choke or just a cable?
@jusubbidiy just the plug I didn't take it all way out of the carb
@@Donbscooters757 Ok, if you unplug the cable, then choke is on all time.
Show us it working
Trust me, it works. I can upload some clip soon.

@@ginoanthony Yes. Screw bolt in = choke of, screw bolt out = choke on. I make video for you later today.
@Jusubbi DIY Thank you 🙏 can't wait for the video... Tag me when you upload it

Thanks man mine fucking exploded while trying to unscrew it🔥
It happens. Maybe I just was lucky with that. Sorry for your loss!
