What if Hank broke into Jesse's private domicile and saw Walter in there?
The great thing about this one is that at the time of writing the episode, the writers were in such a rut for ages as to how they could possibly get Hank to leave the RV behind

If Walter was kept in the cage like Jesse, imagine the DEA find the tape and think Hank was trying to make a deal with Jack and his crew and it went wrong. So they find Walt being used as a cook and he gets away Scott free.

Almost always, what happened in the series canon was one of, if not the best possible outcome, being realistic.

@UnwantedGhost1-anz25 lol, yeah, it's like every decision made was to make it so Jesse survives, but just barely. Jesse (and Walt) were so close to dying so often. it's no surprise that a single change would result in their deaths.
Jesse didn't make it easier to himself, when he became a rat.

@@grug-gaming If you watch the episode of his death, we learn that Max had an education in chemistry thanks to Gus, and he was Gus' methamphetamine manufacturer! That's a big deal! If Max never died, Gus wouldn't need Walt or Gale or anyone unless he wants to multiply the amount of cooks he has. This is probably the most extreme butterfly case scenario that can be altered by this channel lol
i would have loved if walt told them "hank is my brother in law, he helps me hide under the radar of the DEA, his partner was corrupt too" maybe they would let him live or try to work with him

Walt is dead basically. Only way I see this playing out is when Hank says "you bet the calvery's coming", Jack is like "uh oh" and leaves saying "sorry walt, you on your own lol"
Then Jack knowing Walt has a DEA brother in law, Jack would definitely have Walt killed when he finds out he's in prison and will likely talk.

I think Jack would've just killed Hank AND Walt on the spot and ran. If they take Walt's car away they would quickly find Jesse and kill him too if they didn't already run him over. No way they would risk being witnessed by the cops or leave any witnesses alive.
Now that I remember... Marie had confessed to her therapist Dave that she had thought of poisoning Walter when she found out that he was a drug lord. What would have happened if Marie had managed to kill Walter White by poisoning? Sounds like a pretty interesting What If concept
Marie would’ve never actually done it. Like she said, she wouldn’t actually hurt anyone, it just “feels good to think about it”. It would be a cool what-if but I can’t imagine it realistically happening

- What if Jesse killed Todd in the desert during the “El Camino” flashback?
He already done the first one. Basically jane and jesse both die and walter is sad
this is my response in my head thinking on what could have happened
-jesse and jane would have either left the country/or overdosed on drugs leaving walt without a partner
- at that point in time bolsa was defending gus's actions and supporting the middle ground between gus and salamancas so without him it would have gone really bad between the two groups without him to seperate them
- hector was slowly loosing his control over the marjority of the cartel so he was getting more reckless and the cartel would have realised this eventually and 'dealt' with him meaning gus would have just been very angry that hector didnt suffer
- in the desert that was just after jesse learnt where todds money was stored at his apartment so he would have killed him drove back to his apartment and did what he did in el camino with less complications and jacks gang would have still been alive but without formular to cook so the blue would have stopped being passed around walt would have returned home to give his remaining money to gretchen and elliot just as he did but badger and skinny pete would have not said anything about the blue (which caused him to go free jesse as he did), then after giving his money to gretchen and elliot he would have turned himself in which was his original plan

@@murgeproductionsI think it would very much depend on Skyler. Walt. Jr. would want Uncle Hank to go down hard after seeing that video. Skyler would be upset about that video getting out. The question would be, would she tell the truth? She would have a lot to lose in the car wash. Honestly, I think it’s possible she would let Hank go down, but it’s hard to say.
That’s why i made it a cliff hanger, because i have to think about how I want to go about it, but I believe skylar would side with her son.

I would like it if you didn't kill Jesse as much, but his problem is that there are a lot of times in the series where the obvious solution to a lot of ruthless people's problems is murder Jesse Pinkman.
As a thought, what if Walter miscalculates when he confronts Tuco with the fulminate of mercury and kills everyone in the room including himself.

Jack let Walt walk away after killing Hank and stealing 7/8 of his money, but kills him after making a deal with him that got him the other 1/8 as well? He had even LESS reason to kill Walt here than he did in the actual show.
Walt was more of a liability there than in the show. He was also probably in a bad mood.

The premiere _just_ finished, and here's my thoughts:
This was really interesting, but also sad, and a bit underwhelming. It's sad for Walt and Jesse because of how much pain they went through, only to be put in barrels and forgotten about. It's interesting because of the potential storyline here, Hank being the only witness to that shootout, Walt and Jesse missing, Walt Jr. finding the confession tape, etc. The story has a lot of directions it could go and I feel like it has a lot of potential. But where the underwhelming part comes in is the ending. It's more or less a cliffhanger than an ending. Walt Jr. finding the confession tape is a REALLY good plot twist! But, we need a part 2. Because this story had a very underwhelming ending, and it doesn't have a satisfying conclusion.
I imagine this will be a "What if Mike killed Tuco?" kind of thing, where it's one of the bigger stories so it's gonna take longer to complete. If that is the case, I cannot wait! :D
But overall, excellent video man! It made me feel a lot of emotions. Mostly sadness for Walt and Jesse though. Especially Jesse, since he was the victim in all of this. Can't wait for (a potential) part 2!

@@murgeproductions I don't really see any loose ends. The video ends at the right point. The tape convicts Hank, Marie and Skyler forever have a serious rift that can't be mended, Walt Jr probably ends up on drugs or something. There's no need for a sequel on this one.
Honestly, I dont think there's a lot more to go on this one. Walt Jr either confronts Skyler about the DVD, who'd either have to play along or tell him it was the truth (which from Walr Jr's perspective is even more unbelievable) or he takes the DVD straight to the police, which just further incriminates Hank (Well, both would likely happen, just switching the order). Hank gets convicted and Marie breaks contact with them.
I think Jack would've kept Walt alive until he knew Todd could achieve a legitimate blue tint purity in his cooks.
What if combo survived the gunshot?
What if Lydia's hit on Mike succeeded?
What if the skater twins got the kettlmans car?
What if the assassins killed lalo?
What if Hank got in the RV?
What if Max was never killed?
Honestly the only thing that changes with the assassins killing lalo, is lalo doesn't kill howard and all the consequences of that don't happen. This video would be better framed as "what if lalo didn't kill howard?"

The twins assumed lalo is dead. They did not see nacho's body. They made the logical assumption he was a rat.

Another dark. I can see Jack's decision sure going to lead to much terrible thing in both version. It's like killing Hank was a better choice and the cliffhanger ending here was so nice mystery touch. It's leave us think on our own again

Well this outcome turned out more disturbing than I thought it would be.
The ending doesn't really hold up. Flynn may not be on speaking terms with his mom and aunt, but he's probably smart enough to see that the former is not in any mood to lie for the latter or her husband, so unless Flynn goes and starts spreading rumours at school(?), he would quickly be told, and have no reason not to believe, that the confession tape was a deliberate ploy to intimidate Hank.
What if Hector died at the end of season 3?
What if Mike killed Hector and the twins?
What if Kim was in Breaking Bad?
What if Mike killed Lydia?
What if Jesse didn’t leave the business?
What if Mike was able to get along with Walt?

@@bearpoop720 not random, its referencing better call saul. hector has a stroke and nearly dies in season 3 finale (resulting in his paralysis) but is saved due to gus's intervention. mike was going to kill hector and the twins but again gus intervenes and stops him.

the events in bb would transpire differently if even a single member of the salamanca family was killed off earlier. because they are, quite literally, the overarching antagonists in the show that are the cause for many butterfly effects. its an interesting thesis to delve into.
while i do agree that kim's presence in breaking bad would serve little to no narrative purpose except shock value, these are what if scenarios. they're for fun and speculation. however if kim was somehow in bb by some off-chance, then saul's story would've definitely turned out very differently.

- What if Hank didn’t have to take a 💩
- What if Chuck didn’t take out Jimmy from the prison, and Jimmy never become a lawyer?
- What if the dirty cops managed to kill Mike?
- What if Nacho didn’t want to poison Hector?
- What if Tuco managed to kill Hank?
1. He pissed on the book instead by accident and he checked it before trying to fixing it because he is... Hank.
2. He defecates through a sunroof again
3. Mike's middle fingers move up and then avenge him by moving like a bullet with each one shooting the other one
4. He probably gets killed by him due to protecting his father.
5. Walter finds Jesse as the reason of Hank's death the same way in S5E14, but takes his anger on his friends as a punishment for him, then he goes against Tuco.
That's a good what if theory. Though instead I'd have the gang keep walter as there cook, similar to what they did with Jessie.
Walt having a DEA brother-in-law was too much of a liability for them.
Depends on the fine meth walt will cook for them, plus walt's cancer that they will notice as the weeks go by.

1. Jesse wouldn’t be taken by the Nazis because Walt won’t be angry at him.
2. Hank would probably let Walt be free realizing he had good intentions at first. Or he’d give Walter some kinda plea deal.
3. Walter would either be in jail, or in Witness protection. Either way he still has his family’s respect and probably get Skylar to forgive him.

Thing is, Hank would know that Walter was talking to a guy named Jack. Being an excellent cop and working with his boss who trusts him, even if the public no longer trusts him, Hank would track down Jack and possibly bring him in for questioning regarding Walter White
Hank also has undoubtedly noted the license plates of every car present at the shootout.

What if Gus never suspected Lalo survived? In order for that to happen, Hector would have to not smile at Gus so much and actually keep his poker face, thus confirming no one was coming to get Gus.
What if Walt (reluctantly) became a mole for the DEA? Instead of telling Skyler that he is the danger, the two talk about how to break the news of his drug dealings lightly to Hank and now Walt is going to be a man on the inside.
Man hmwalt and jesse were knocking on deaths door through this entire story. One single change and it ends up with both of them dead

Man that would be a fun story. I really dont know if jesse could think far enough ahead to NOT simply drop the money off on their porch leaving skyler absolutely flabbergasted. If she notices jesse, then shed probably get him to spill the beans and man that would be such a shock. But then shed realize she has to launder the money somehow, maybe forcing jesse to help her... the adventures of jesse and mrs white

This ending - while unlikely - is more respectful towards the character.
A different way you could have done this was having hank be the inside man for Walter. Having Walter saying Hank was his inside man and having Hank go with it knowing the only other way out would be a bullet in the head.

Oh this won't end well , the best case scenario at that point was the canon Breaking Bad ending.
One I'm kinda surprised you hadn't done yet: What if Gus didn't die? I feel like two versions of this have potential:
The realistic one, where the bomb simply fails to go off, and the less realistic one, where Gus is horrifically scarred, yet still alive after the explosion.
Or if he took tyrus offer to do it by himself
Gus could’ve been the Two-Face of Albuquerque.
I don't think the Gus surviving is so unrealistic though, pipe bomb isn't the thing powerful enough to guaranteed kill everyone in the room, so canonically Gus got a bit unlucky.
What I always think of though, is the pipe bomb is surely not powerful enough to kill the car passengers, so Gus would definitely have survive that case of bombing if he used the car.

This is such a great series dude, you've got a great voice and these are always super creative and fun to watch.
Some scenarios that I've thought about: 1.) what if Skyler never gave Ted Walt's money? At this point Walt can actually attempt to start his whole family's life over (if they'd even be willing) and the consequences of that could be interesting. Not to mention the IRS might have a lead to them with Ted in lock-up. Jesse and Gus are still together, Brock never gets poisoned, and Hank still has a huge target on his back.
And 2.) what if Skyler never figured out that Walt was a meth cook? This one requires a bit more of a leap but even something as simple as "Walt doesn't let it slip that he has two cellphones" could have ripples. I'd imagine the divorce still happens but if it does then Walt would need someone else to launder his money.
Again keep up the great work man, have a good one.

I still believe walter is too smart to not know that he was about to die, he would have done something about it. I mean Gus was a much smarter criminal than Jack and the plotting is so obvious, Walter wouldn't have just "let it happen", I do not know what but he would have done something to not die.
Here’s an interesting one probably, What if Walter didn’t intervene and do a Full Measure at the end of Half Measures?
Also I will keep asking this but what if Kim didn’t leave Jimmy, and how that would have changed the rest of the HeisenVerse?
One other thing, in this series of events, if Gene Takovic is arrested a couple months later he's most likely going to die.
I feel like it would be cool if they would’ve made like three alternate season fives that are the same up until these points. It would be really cool and everything you’ve said fits what would actually have happened and it’d be so freaking awesome to see an end where the big death is Jesse.

Like it. That DVD Walt made totally implicated Hank and neither Walt or Jessie are around to let the police know it's fake, Hank sadly goes down for the entire five year story.
Nah. Skyler could confirm what parts of the confession tape were real and what was bullshit.
The only "evidence" of Hank's involvement at this point is Walt's tape. And who is the DEA more likely to believe, their own ASAC or Walt? Especially when you consider that the one thing that would exonerate Hank is the fact that after he got shot, he spent the back half of season 3 and all of season 4 out of commission while he was recovering, and Heisenberg was very active during this time that Hank was in no condition to be doing much beyond tending to his mineral collection.

what if gus never takes jesse with him to casa tranquila? that way walter and jesse wouldn't find a way to make the explosive idea work since they wouldn't find a place where gus goes that isn't being monitored constantly. i think this might be a good idea for a video.

I feel like after 11 months of walter being missing and her not loving him at that point anyway, skyler would testify in hank's favour. The only consequences are that she would lose the car wash and that walt jr would hate her for a bit, but let's face it that is nothing new.
Also what happened to Saul in this timeline? Does he just do his gene thing as normal?
I know it gets hard to do these what ifs, even with the ending be logical since Jack and his gang are lowlife thugs, not business frontman like Gus. If Walter could kill Gus, he could easily kill Jack and his gang without the M60. Gus was monitoring Walter and Mike kept tabs on him, Walter still won; Jack was impulsive and sloppy.
Particularly dark one: What if Walter and Skyler accidentally stabbed Walter Jr. during their fight?
Good listen, I think you made the story as it should happen. In my world I think I would have really wanted to explore a saved Hank how he would feel toward Walt moving forward. Could he really forgive Walt, knowing he lost everything to save his life? What could their future interactions be? Could there be a way forward, or would everyone sort of fall trap to Walt's world, having Hank sort of giving up and just dealing with Walt and everything he's done.
He could've not hooked up with jack at all
