This was definitely one of the saddest endings I’ve seen you do so far. Not about the fact that Walt, Hank, Marie, Skyler, Walt Jr, and Jesse are dead, but that that Holly was left in the house alone, and she’ll have no family left.
Not to mention the money that they all died for is basically gone forever

1 Saul wouldn’t leave for no reason, he’d know Walter wouldn’t kill him
2 Walter wouldn’t have Jessie killed since there’d be no reason to. He couldn’t give any more evidence and killing him just makes him suspicious
3 Walter would not have ever considered telling Todd where the money was, that was for his family. He would have said he was going to get a couple million but he died before he could

This has got to be the worst possible outcome for Walt. He failed to do everything he initially set out to do. His family is dead in the hands of the criminal associates he was trying to protect them from, and the money he worked so hard to make for his family is lost forever. It's true that crime doesn't pay. Great video!

It actually worked out quite well for him in the end. He realised that Jesse did not deserve to die and finally let him walk his own path after all the manipulation and lies. That is what it they were trying to convey when Walt slid the gun over to Jesse and he said do it yourself showing that he had finally broke the cycle and thought for him self. Could not get a better ending in a series if you ask me.
I mean he went through horrible things that no one could imagine going through. But he found peace in the end.

@@colacoke2102 Yeah, because one plan in mind was to tie in the whole 'Mr Chips into Scarface' route they were pitching by having the stories end in a similar mass death way. That's why there's also that scene in Season 5 where Walt and Walt Jr are watching Scarface and Walt praises the movie for having everyone die in it, as it cuts to Skyler looking on in horror. Looks like a red herring now, but in the past in the writer's room could've been a usage of foreshadowing.
@@murgeproductions an everybody dies ending is great I would imagine, a neighbor hears Holly crying after Flynn and Skyler were shot and then a police car was chasing Todd the two men died leaving only Todd who crashes his car and succumbs to his wounds, the police later have a shootout with his gang and they die, and from the evidence they find Lydia who tries to run and gets shot for it

What if Skyler didn’t spend the money on Ted
What if Badger didn’t get caught by the cops and never met Saul
What if Jesse was killed by Tuco when he first met him
What if Hank killed Jesse
My take
1st one- Walt would just escape with his family after scene in desert with Gus using vacuum cleaner man
2nd one- Walt would be either caught withing weeks by police (like Saul say) or Walt and Jessie would make enough money that money, split ways and Walter would've been killed by Salamanca twins (since there's nobody to protect him)
3rd is too big of change to explain it quickly so that'll be a very good idea for the video
4th would force Hank to give up on trying to get Walt since there's nobody left to help him get him, giving Walt a pretty good ending where he can leave money for his family
Well the writers originally wanted Tuco to kill Jessie at the end of season 1 so it would be interesting to see how that might have played out

I got a suggestion: what if Mike killed Lydia in s5 e5?
Killing Lydia would have been one of the smartest decisions during that seasons she was too untrustworthy, paranoid, anxious, too eager to order violence if things didn't go as she hoped or wanted, to keep alive.
She was actually one of the worst people in the series for her lack of integrity (since she was okay with her former businesspartner being kept as slave as long as it make money for her)
Not to mention she was a spineless coward for not wanted to look at the carnage she ordered while Gus would have walked though that and taunted his enemies.

What if Walter's confession tape story was actually the plot of the show?
Hank, having seen how much money even a small drug operation could make, seems temptated to join the business, realizing that he could use Walter's advanced knowledge of chemistry and his need for money to start a partnership. How different the story would be? Would Hank still die? Would they ever get caught? Would Walter still turn into the greedy and egoistic Heisenberg we know?
Hard thing about this one is that it's very hard to write for since basically everything we know about Hank would be different. The best way to do it would be to extract Hank's character flaws from the show and make them the underlying reason he breaks bad, but I think with what we know of him, if he truly were to break bad, it wouldn't be by organizing a drug trade.
I guess if Walter was indeed being forced and was the same guy, he'd probably kill Hank eventually. Hell, he'd probably kill Hank anyway even if not being forced because well that's Walt.
That would require an entirely different show. You’d have to completely rewrite both characters and the story would be entirely different. The main aspect of the show is how Walt at first begins out of desperation but decides against immediately exiting because his pride makes him see earning more in his passion field and solving the problem legitimately as unacceptable and chooses to continue to pay for it. And we see how it grows. Hank is key because he’s over the top straight arrow, refusing to give up on the case despite everybody in the DEA pushing him to drop it. Hank is needed because without someone so committed to justice walt would’ve never been caught. So it’s hard to consider because it flips the key story aspects entirely.

Jesus Christ, as much as I wanted to see Walter win in the end this is without any doubt the bad ending of Breaking Bad.
What if Hank accidentally killed Jesse? He basically accidentally beats em to death being blinded by anger
Or, what if the beating put Jessie into a coma? Could add some extra drama
He really has the characterizations of each character down perfectly. Those lines sound exactly like something Walt, Jesse or Saul would say lol
I mean this makes a lot of sense. Seeing how meticulous, paranoid, and careful Walter was throughout the series, I feel like this was a big oversight from Walter. So many details and mistakes that he missed and made when previous seasons and episodes showed him acting the complete opposite.

That's like Death Note when Mikami went to the bank to write Takada's name, revealing the real death note location to Near and therefore making possible for him to substitute the real death note for the fake notebook.
Know it was perfect, how do you outsmart someone smarter than you, use their ego against them. It was Walters Ego and Greed that killed him, his Ego being upstream of the greed. This is a theme throughout the whole show, so it was very fitting a man as smart as Walter succumbs to his ego and greed.
This is the first story that I can say is maybe even better than the original. Heisenberg, a brutal drug kingpin who was the best in his job, gets so focused on building his meth empire that he doesn't realize what he has done to his family. He dies without confessing that he did everything for himself and only the viewers are able to see how terrible the consequences of his actions are. His whole family eventually dies without ever getting his money.
He wouldn't ever be defeated by some criminal, but instead would die peacefully, with his family being left to deal with the consequences of his actions.

After watching this I've realized Walt falling for Hank and Jesse's trap (canon plot) would have been a better outcome as this alternate history shown above is dark enough to begin with, plus his family doesn't get the money he'd worked on.

The problem with your version of Walt “outsmarting” Hank and Jesse is when you assumed Walt would forsake his bond with Jesse and order his death like that. Their conflicted yet deep relationship throughout the show was one of the best parts. This version of the events in this video are too detached and cruel and uncharacteristic of Mr. White, indeed stupider because he wouldn’t have a heart.
You say he wouldn't forsake his bond with Jesse and order his death except he literally did just that in the show when he went to Jack to order a hit on him after Jesse refused to meet with Walt and instead phoned him to threaten him. Then later during the confrontation in the desert when Jack was about to leave Walt said he still owes him for Pinkman and pointed him out hiding under the car, and he was literally standing there watching as they were about to kill him execution style before deciding to take him alive first to figure out what he told Hank & Gomez. As they were taking him away Walt confessed that he stood there and watched Jane die by overdose instead of saving her. As much as he cared for Jesse he was more than willing to not only order his death but stand there watching it happen and then mentally torture him.
Now this what if covers Walt already putting out the hit on Jesse after their failed meeting. When Walt learns that Jesse is working with Hank and the DEA to take him down this would further his commitment to having Jesse killed both to in order protect himself and for the betrayal he would have felt. The what if also highlights that despite ordering his death he still cared about Jesse felling guilty over his death. This is completely in character for Walt, he felt Jesse had to be killed for what he had done but still felt guilty and sad over it due to his previous bond with him.
DUDE THIS IS THE ONE I'VE BEEN SECRETLY WISHING FOR AND YOU DROPPED IT RIGHT AFTER MY 30th BIRTHDAY :D I actually loved this one, it was a dark timeline but it was a dark show, and things easily could have played out this way, and finally someone realised the significance of the "hero" Hank setting Jesse up to die, and Jesse hearing it, he at least has a moment of true dignity in the face of the DEA. ngl I've been feeling devastated and old, given the state of affairs iml, really not feeling the best rn but you put a smile on my face, that REALLY matters.

@@NicFallout I know what you mean. I just don’t know how you prefer this ending to the original. The og felt so perfect to me. Jesse is free, walt jr is gonna get paid, Todd and his crazy family is dead, and Walter died in a meth lab. This ending is not happy at all. A lot of peoples lives are ruined and people are scarred for life, but it’s realistic because I could see all the events playing out irl how they did in the show. The ending Murge productions just came up with isn’t bad at all. But it’s the opposite of satisfying, and frankly a bit too dark. This is literally worst case scenario of events. I don’t think it fits Breaking Bad.

What if Hank and Walter worked together instead of Walt becoming Heisenberg?

Walter becoming a detective would work well. Instead of Walt focusing on the amount of money that the meth dealers made when watching Hank's interview on his birthday, he instead focuses on the admiration that Hank recieved for being good at his job and taking Hank's "Get some excitement in your life" to heart, he would ask Hank if they are hiring at the DEA. With Walt's impressive IQ as well as his vast knowledge of chemistry I could see them taking him on as government agencies usually specifically recruit people with abnormally high IQs for certain jobs. Season 1 could focus on small time dealers like Jesse and bigger dealers like Tuco near the end. Season 2 could continue the Tuco storyline while also introducing Gus.

I feel like with Nacho telling the truth, at least Victor and/or Tyrus would be picked off by the Salamanca twins, but with Mike being there and in sniper position...Yeah, I think all it would end up with is everyone there dying aside from Mike and maybe Gus.
I kind of would’ve loved if Walter survived felina , and the show ended showing he “died” but there was a cliffhanger and it shows he actually got resuscitated and showed up in better call Saul finale r some episode in BCS to confess to his crimes
Breaking Bad is a once in a lifetime series. It will not happen again at least not in my lifetime. I started watching in 2008 and I still rewatch it every day because I fall asleep to Breaking Bad and I wake up to it in the background it’s basically always on. Everything went right in this series. The writing, actors, cinematography, absolutely everything was perfect.
If Hank and Marie die like that there's no way Walt would believe it's a random house invasion, let alone be fine with it. Also wouldn't be die much sooner here than in the show? I believe Jack's gang would do to Walter what they did to Jesse untill the cancer takes him.

I would prefer that ending over the actual one
What if Walt did not see Jesse? Basically after Hank gets shot in Ozymandias, Walt does not see Jesse hiding underneath the car. With Hank still dead, Walt would still be left at the mercy of the Neonazis. Jesse however would have to find his way out of the desert and I'd imagine he'd go straight to Andrea and then contact Ed the dissapearer by breaking into Saul's office (assuming he's still there), and threatening Saul (who is scared of Jesse after getting beat up by him in Blood Money). You can decide what happens afterwards such as what happens to Walt, how does the new of Hank and Gomez's death goes down, and where does Jesse end up? Also I chose this over if Walt decided not to out Jesse, as I think Walt would have always sold out Jesse if he noticed him, as the sheer amount of hatred/fear Walt had against Jesse was too much for them to reconcile in that moment.

I still remember after series ended everyone was saying they wish to forget the series so that they can re watch it and have that first time viewing experience all over again , your what if series has just done that! Only problem I had with it is walter’s demise from cancer. He lived a couple of years after going into hiding, so he would have had time to set up a contingency in his will. Maybe leaving a cryptic message to skyler or even Todd.
1 year I believe, I think Heisenberg was age 52 when he died on his birthday of all the days.
Him surviving for that extra year is not a direct result of the events that were changed

One I kinda have in my head, what is Jimmy never encountered the skateboarders. Such a change would basically remove any catalyst for Jimmy to have any ties to the cartel or criminal underworld, or fall back into a Slipping Jimmy persona to later have it become Saul Goodman. He might even regain Chuck's respect after more time as an honest lawyer, as well as Howard not dying and Kim not leaving him. Show's name would be renamed to fit the story instead following Mike delving back into the criminal underworld to provide for Kaylee and eventually still working for Gus.
Fr it would be a very different show(s) if those skateboarders never came across Jimmy
A sad and brutal ending in this scenario, but I remember Jesse's character was intended to die early on in the show, which I'm glad didn't happen, but would seem to inevitably happen in this case

These type of videos are why my attention span is getting so short.. this was like watching a whole movie in 20 minutes. Great video.
This was phenomenal-- capturing the tone of season 6 prior to endgame territory.
But putting that context into account, Walt lived for 6 months post "Ozymandias" under cancer treatment in the mountains; It's likely he would have lived to deduce Hank's murder at the hands of Todd-- this could have led to Felina's revenge plot, so I'm glad you diverged from that conclusion. (I also appreciated the subversion of expectations for us to believe Jessie would be safe in protective custody.)
The only thing missing from Walt's contingency plan was how he would give the money to his children-- he couldn't let his efforts all be for nothing?

What makes this sadder is realistically there’s a good chance holly is going to die of malnutrition but she’s so young all she can do is scream for momma who she obviously doesn’t understand is dead.

How could he sue them? He sold his share albeit for a small amount of money (but likely what the company was then worth) but I don't think he would have a chance..... Plus they could afford a top legal team and they are both nice people, they would likely offer a huge settlement which Walt would refuse.

The only weird thing about the theory is how fast Walt's cancer gets him bedridden. In the final season of breaking bad we can see Walt basically lives in the middle of nowhere for months and even after that is able to make it all the way back
What if Jesse was murdered by Tuco?
What if Skyler didn't give the money to Ted?
What if Jesse actually sat down and talked to Walt?
What if Jesse burnt Walter's house down?
1st one would be pretty similar to Hector recovering (minus Hector in the story if Walter didnt confess to trying poisoning Tuco)
2nd one- Walt would just escape with his family after scene in desert with Gus using vacuum cleaner man
Jesse being murdered by Tuco was actually the original thought. Vince Gillian changed his mind after he saw how good Aaron Paul was as Jesse

One small correction (I think): the surrounding dialogue in BBS5 I think suggests that Walter DID do the "one cook" for the nazis off-screen before the showdown over the money. Probably immediately after he orders the hit on Jesse.
I could be wrong - but Walter says they "Owe him" in ozzymandias and they never inquire about the cook.

The good news is that Andrea is alive in this ending. Also in this version Walter kinda scams Todd, even if its unintentional. So I would have expected Jack and his gang to raid Walter's house in search of his money even without Lydia's orders. Also sad that Walter dies probably thinking how he has at least the life of his remaining family better, and he will never know that they ended up being killed after his death.

This is so tragic, but so fitting considering Walt ever decided to work with Jack. With Gus gone, Jack was the only real threat to Walt's family.
Honestly though, as soon as Jack's gang learns Jesse is locked up, they execute the hit on Jesse without Walt's consent, they take out Hank as described, and then they go take out Walt and his family. Jack is too cautious when it comes to leaks and would eliminate all possible links to them as quickly as possible. Jesse and Walt are both prone to talking to the cops so both must be eliminated. It'll get hot because news will pick up on all the connections. Jack's only weakness then is how much Gomes knows and hard from Jesse, but given that Hank was going rogue on a lot of this, the DEA may not have enough to get something to stick.
I feel that when Hank and Marie were killed in their own home Walt would have instantly considered Jack as the only suspect, who else is there? After this I doubt they would immediately go after Walt and his family as they likely wouldn't have discovered their connection with Hank & Marie and they still wanted Walt to cook for them. So I think Walt would have gotten his affairs in order to safely get his money to his family in the future and took advantage of the opportunity to enter their compound to pull a last episode shenanigans taking them all out in a surprise attack in revenge for Hank. He would have still died here either as a result from the attack or succumbing to the cancer, and likely left a note for his family telling them how he killed Jack's gang as revenge for Hank & Marie.

I really like how you construct the story in such a way that the details are represented through actual BrBa scenes to actually show us the story rather than it just being explained with random scenes, it really makes me feel more invested in the what if scenario

In this story, as soon as Jack and his crew killed off Hank, I expected Walter to tip off the police to snitch on Jack, probably even using the burner phone that Todd had been reaching him on. This way, when the forensic teams check Todd's phone, the investigators would have assumed it was an acquaintance of Todd's learned about Hank's murder from Todd. Everything would have been nicely tied off, with only Lydia out there, but too afraid to move against Walt without a fixer like Mike or Todd.
Walt would never go to the police, he had many chances to when being endangered by Gus and he didn’t, he wouldn’t do it now either.

What if Raymond Reddington met Mike. Would they bond over their morals and bad choice roads, or would they clash because Red has killed plenty of innocents.
What if Lydia went out with Todd.
What if Mike killed Tuco when Nacho first hired him.
What if Hector died from the sugar pills.
What if Tomas killed Skinny Pete or Badger.
Why would Walter die of cancer so soon in this timeline? In the actual show, he stays in New Hampshire for months after the events of Ozymandias and he’s still in semi-decent health by the time he returns to Albuquerque.

what if Walter was crushed by a piece of the planes that crashed above him and died? it could be like gus is rather forced to work with Jesse who despite being a recovering addict, is still the only other person who could cook meth to at least a similar purity as walter
Ive often wondered this same thing. Even if he didn't notice before he reached the burial site, even if he didn't know there was no GPS, truth is Hank still didn't have anything. Had Walt continued on acting, and Jack not showed up, Hank would have had to go to the DEA with his wild story and a little proof but absolutely no true idea idea where or how much money was out there. Think about how much it would cost to get a crew out there and dig. I doubt the ATF could be enticed to search the place. Walt would have gotten bail on a small time conspiracy charge or something to that effect.

The main thing is, Walter wasn't worrying about him going to prison he was worried about them confiscating all of the money and then he'd be penny-less with nothing to leave for his family (which was the whole point).
