    Personally, I think Walter did have a perfect death. He killed everyone he searched to destroy, successfully managed to give the remaining 8 million dollars to Walt jr, and even though he did die in the end, I would say he accomplished everything he wanted because at the end, he died to his own hands before the police busted in.

    • @genericwhitemale9566
      @genericwhitemale9566 4 місяці тому +9

      It wasn't really perfect. His family hated him in the end and he had to settle for allowing his family to believe that Elliot and Gretchen gave them the money (which was 11 million, not 8) rather than himself. Plus both his family and Jesse have mental scars that will follow them for the rest of their lives, even Holly who is too young to remember any of it will only ever know her father as a psychotic drug kingpin. The only real good parts about it is
      1. The money he left his family was FAR above the 700 thousand goal he set himself in the season 1 finale.
      2. He died on his own terms rather than dying sick in a hospital bed.
      3. He avenged Hank and saved Jesse from permanent enslavement.

  • @wariyoshidirector
    @wariyoshidirector 5 місяців тому +4

    I feel like "Walt's perfect death" would involve:
    1. Him dying in peace surrounded by his family who never found out about his drug empire
    2. Manipulating Gus and the Salamancas into killing each other off, and for them to have known that he was the one that defeated them in their final moments.
    3. Seeing Hank become a national hero by heroically saving a bunch of innocent people from the crossfire of the Gus-Salamanco battle, also humiliating them in the process and ruining any reputation and legacy that they might have had
    4. Finding a way to steal most of their money at the last moment and for Heisenberg to have taken the credit for it, thereby embarrassing the DEA for letting Heisenberg take all the money they meant to bust and failing to discover him as he fled into the sunset as a sort of mythic criminal legend (passing this money to his family who think that it was incredibly sound secret investments)
    5. Seeing Jesse leave with his girl and having Jesse thank him for changing his life, before Jesse sets off into his life as a wealthy business owner of a growing pharmaceutical company thanks to the knowledge that Walt passed to him
    Walt "did it for himself," but he still wanted those he cared about to prosper. He wanted Heisenberg to be seen as the unstoppable legend that Walter White never could be, but he also wanted his wife and son to never worry about money again, he wanted Hank to get to win in his own way (as long as it never hurt Heisenberg's legacy), he wanted to destroy and humiliate those who supposedly towered over him in the criminal underworld, and he wanted the snot-nosed kid Jesse to look up to him and see a genuine hero and to blame all his good fortune on Walt. He wanted to die knowing that he had been exceptional in every aspect of his life. An probably not with his family being murdered.

      Jesse and Walt continue to cook for Gus, Walter is far less unpredictable because even if he is working under someone else like Gus, he recognizes his value without flaunting it towards Gus. He knows he is *the* Cook. And Jesse once his worst student is now the pupil he's taught more than anyone else. Gus is able to complete his revenge on the Salamancas and since Walter never gave Gus any reason to think about replacing Jesse with Gale, Walter never receives "Leaves of Grass" and Hank is never alerted to the connection between Walter and Heisenberg. Because Walter isn't trying to get Jesse to turn against and help him kill Gus, Walter never poisons Brock. Jesse continues to see Andrea and Brock while helping Walt cook for Gus, he works closely with Mike at times and they're both generally treated with respect by their superiors.

    Honestly a part two would be interesting, mike after being haunted at the thought of an entire innocent family being sacrificed for frings game, comes to the conclusion that if the whites were expendable and they weren’t even involved, who’s to say Gus won’t do the same to him and more importantly his grandchild. This could eventually lead to mike tracking down a depressed Steve, and possibly Jesse coming back to Albuquerque once news of what happened reaches him. Despite protest from Jane I think Jesse would tell her something along the lines of "Listen this life we’re living right now, none of it would’ve happened without mr white I gotta go back and set things straight". Eventually finding his way to Steve and mike who form a vengeance seeking trio against fring. Jesse could go undercover in frings operation similar to when he was gonna take over cooking is original timeline except this time he’s gales assistant/partner. Mike continues his duties as usual but now being monitored and bugged by Steve and the rest of the DEA. Maybe gus eventually finds out about mikes betrayal and once he sees how vulnerable his operations now are he reluctantly accepts help from the rest of the cartel, starting an all out war between Gus, the dons, hector and the cartel vs mike, Steve, Jesse and the DEA.

    Honestly, I doubt Gus would allow Walter's family to get killed. He would just tell the Salamancas and Bolsa that Walter White is dead, so go take your revenge on Hank instead. And since Hank has his gun and Gomez with him, they'd both be able to kill the twins. So realistically, Hank and the family wouldn't die. Mike would definitely have a problem with Gus ordering him to have an entire family slaughtered who aren't in the game

Jesse would find this horrofying news devastating, and would go back to Alberquerque, and maybe tell the truth about Walt to the D.E.A. And why? Because he knows Steve is the best friend of Hank and seek revenge for Walt's family, working together with the D.E.A. But will Jesse and the D.E.A. find out it was Gus all along? And will they arrest them? That's for you to decide.

    Man, I'm loving this series.
    I don't see Mike letting the Salamanca Twins go after the White family when the baby is in the house, too.
    He clearly wanted to end Todd when he shot the kid in the spur of the moment.
    He just wouldn't have been okay with Gus making the family the sacrifice for the Salamanca family.
    I imagine the encounter would go much the same way as it had before. Don Bosa, Hector Salamanca and the Twins meet with Gus who details that the man they want revenge on is dead and that he won't condone violence against civilians not involved in the business north of the border. The twist is that he offers them another target: Hank. Don Bolsa denounces it, saying the DEA would crack down on the Eladio Cartel if they brazenly attacked the DEA on US soil. Gus offers a solution: the Salamanca twins can carry out the coup de grace, but the kill has to be just with a gun and the attack will be carried out by Gus's men, cleanly and efficiently. Don Bolsa looks ask Hector if this is to his liking. The old Salamanca appreciates the idea of Gus taking all the risk and the Salamanca's reaping the reward. He answers with a single ding of his bell.
    The Face Off: The twins sit in a car tailing Hank while Mike, Tyrese and Victor ride in a blacked-out SUV. Gus remains with Don Bolsa and Hector, so Mike makes the call warning Hank of the impending attack. Mike uses the same voice modulator to disguise his identity as he warns Mike that the Salamancas are tailing him and provides a description of their car in the parking lot. Shocked from his disbelief, Hank warns the other customers to escape out the back entrance as he looks out the front entrance and makes eye contact with the Salamancas. Realizing they've been spotted, the Salamancas look over to the Mike's blacked out SUV. Mike rolls down the window, revs the engine and gives the twins a nod as if he'll back them up. Emboldened, the twins gun their engine and ram the video rental store. Meanwhile, Mike pulls away at a leisurely pace, leaving the Salamanca twins and Hank to their shootout.
    Hank manages to kill Marco in the passenger seat as soon as the car smashes through the entrance of the store. Leonel ducks out of his door and attempts to shoot at Hank from behind the hood of the smashed car. Hank moves through the store, using the shelves for concealment and the aisles as firing lanes as he and Leonel hunt each other. Leonel, realizing Gus's men have abandoned him, pulls out his phone to warn Don Bolsa, but is distracted when the call fails to connect and is gunned down by Hank.
    Meanwhile, Don Bolsa and Hector wait in the office with Gus, anticipating a call to Bolsa's cellphone to inform him the kill was completed. What they don't realize is that Mike had turned on a cell jammer when he left with the twins, ensuring Bolsa couldn't be warned about the treachery. When the office door opens, Mike, Tyrese and Victor walk in and hold Bolsa at gunpoint. He's taken outside and executed before being buried in the desert. Gus then uses his considerable influence to get a new set of papers drafted for Hector Salamanca. He's admitted to a nursing home outside Albuquerque, under a false name and without his signature bell. Gus continues to visit him from time to time, keeping his pet "coati" alive for as long as possible.
    In Mexico, the Federales, under pressure from the US government, are forced to eliminate a high-value target within the cartels. Unable to find Don Bolsa (who's buried in the New Mexico desert), the Federales are forced to raid the Eladio Villa.
    Don Eladio calls up Gus accusing him of setting up the Salamancas, as they wouldn't have been so foolish as to attack the DEA so openly. Gus claims it must have been Don Bolsa's decision to satisfy Don Hector. As Don Eladio is screaming into his phone, vowing revenge, the Federales raid the Eladio Villa and gun down Don Eladio and his men.
    With the board clear, Gus approaches Gale to be his fulltime cook in his Super Lab. The product is sufficient, possessing the Heisenberg Blue, but Gale insists they bring in whoever worked on the original product to get it closer to the 99.1% purity that Walter White achieved.

  • @Vegito1089
    @Vegito1089 Рік тому +4

    If you are reading this, I had two very good ideas that could make for an interesting What if!
    One. What if Badger screws up the deal with DEA and the Fake Walter?
    The civilian who matches heisenberg appearances just leaves as Badger is pushing too hard for him to take the blue meth. The Civilian thinks this is very weird and walks off. Hank gets pissed off, drives over to the bench and grabs Badger into the car. Yelling at him that Heisenberg could obviously tell it was bait and said the deal is off. Fake Heisenberg is sitting across the other bench staring awkardly and decides to just leave when he realizes the plan failed. Jesse and Walter are distraught as they wasted all of that money plus for Jesse, he is worried that Badger will flip. Saul convinced Walter to just order the hit anyway on Badger since now unless he gives actual names, he is going to prison. The hit is carried and Badger is murdered. Hank was following the civilian, looking for any clue that he is Heisenberg. He eventually gives up as he turns out to be a civilian but then returns his attention back to him once he finds out that Badger was killed in prison. This distracts Hank long enough to not focus on other leads for awhile so he might not interact with Jesse like he did originally. Stalking this civilian eventually gets him trouble for harassment and Hank is suspended (But not fired...maybe?). But... killing Bader, this completely breaks off any chance of Jesse and Walt working together. Saul introduces Walter to Gus but this time Wakter is by himself. Gus has a far better first impression without Jesse around. Jesse however is pissed and hates Walt for what happened to Badger, starts selling blue meth on his own. It starts to attract police attention and even Gus attention. Combo still dies and Jesse is on a path of self destruction. Jesse blames Walter for all of it, makes it very clear he will give up Walts name if he is ever arrested as some sort of revenge. Walter at this point, cannot bring himself to kill Jesse so he calls his bluff. However, Saul does not and reports this to Mike, who reports it to Gus, who knows Jesse is selling Walters formula. Thinking Walter is being too soft on this junkie for sentimental reasons, Gus orders a henchman to arrange a drug deal with Jesse and make it seem like it went south resulting in Jesse death. Walter is none the wiser and thinks Jesse was killed by random druggies. This time, Gus and Walter have zero reason to not trust each other or hate each other. They form a much better and respectful relationship. With Gus resources and Walter mind, they form a deadly drug empire. Gus may even be able to stop Walt cancer by giving him the best of the best medical experts to help him. Since Hank is likely not going to be in the same parking lot when when he was fired and thus likely not in his car, he is later killed by the Twins in revenge for Tuco death only this time without either of the Twins getting hurt in process or killed. Maybe Marie is killed as well since she might spend a lot more time with Hank as he is not working now. Gus uses this opportunity to satisfy the Twins rage for now and to also convince Walt to help take down the Salamanca family.
    Two. What if Walter swallowed his pride and allowed Hank to believe Gale was Heisenberg? I dont know much what you can do with this besides Hank going off the case and Walter not having to worry about Gus wanting to kill him since Hank will assume Heisenberg formula was learned and thats why he was capped. Could make situation more unique but I still think Gus wants Walter dead/gone and Jesse to replace him.

Btw is there a way I can join your discord server? The older link expired sadly. Also I made a mistake lol, Badger was supposed to ask for the blue meth and then gives Fake Heisenberg the money xD
      I thought more on "What if Walt swallowed his pride and allowed Hank to believe Gale was Heisenberg". I think it will end up similar to "What if Mike Was Around During The End of Season 4?" except that now that Walt has money, Hanks death is prevented and is spending more time with his family, it calms him down enough to not sabatoge Gus and getting him killed. Walt has no burning hatred for Gus/Mike/Jesse due to Hanks death not happening. He cant return as Heisenberg as now the entire criminal underworld believes he is dead so despite the urge to return after seeing Jesse/Gus take credit for his blue meth, he lets it go. I think Jesse might go to back to make peace with Walter after some time passes as he knows Walt is going to die soon. Wither Walt accepts it or not, I dunno. Gus only shows mercy to Walt just keep Jesse around but also because this time, his nerves are not rattled this time since Hank isnt close on his trail.

Oh and in relating "What if Badger screws up the deal with DEA and the Fake Walter?", I forgot to mention that Gus and other criminals, REALLY hate snitches. Mike may say something like "Yeah, this kid used to be his student in high school so Walt is very likely protective of his students even to this day. Now they may have a lot of history but Walt is going to get himself and by extension, us sabatoged if he calls Jesse bluff.
