The layout of the mesas is unlike any other biome in the game, suggesting a vast green field with unique flora and fauna once inhabited the Crash Zone.

And now their tunnel upwards is blocked off These are still speculations but they’re very likely and much of the community would use either of these explanations

Im assuming the reason why it's so round is to make it aerodynamic, reducing the massive drag that would affect the giant vessel when leaving a planet's atmosphere.

Imagine being a Reaper living in the Crash Zone, peacefully being a terror upon everything below you on the food chain. Then out of literal nowhere, a giant ship many times your size craters you into the sea floor.
I think the lore is that the area was part safe shallows (where also the last degasi base resides, seen in the trailer), part something else and that it got upended once the Aurora crashed into it, making it a perfect hunting ground for reapers and the sound of the crash attracting reapers as well

I just realized. The are Cave Crawlers on the Aurua. They are land creatures that don't go into the water. Does this mean the Aurora Crashed landed on an island?
Ummmm... The last I checked there are Cave Crawlers in the water in some places. Found a bunch next to a wreck site nearby a Reaper with a pair of Warpers.

I'd love a video about the PDA/lore and data found inside of the Aurora. It's kind of sad when you read them/listen to them knowing that those people are gone.
On 5:15 i noticed something. You say that the blood leechers and cave crawlers are what ate the people, however you forgot to mention that the reapers were also what the pda was mentioning.
When you look at the Aurora from the bottom or top, It looks a whole heck of a lot smaller then it normally does, usually you're seeing it from the sides, and it looks huge, but when you get the full scope, you realize, its not THAT huge, its still pretty big, but, really, especially after its blown up, its pretty small looking.
And many hallways are absolutely massive. I would say they were made for Prawn movement if the doorways were not people sized. I wouldn't mind seeing a deckplan as there seems to a lot of wasted space.

Just a small correction, that those 85 people on board are actually people assigned to build the phase gate, which is the main reason Aurora was sent into space for.

I got a question about how many enforcement cannons are there on 4546 B. As there must be more around the planet for coverage so the virus doesn't escape the planet.
Umm sorry to be a it of nerd but seamoth and prawn suit weren't just for the rescue mission, Seamoth is also a space vehicle (possibly for finding Asteroids) and prawn suit is great at mining the asteroids, i don't thino that they were stocker with EVERYTHING for the gate so they would need a bit of mining, soop yeah (also its stated that every big spaceship has at least 2 seamoths)

I believe it’s mission was to construct a new phase gate but had a secondary mission to find the deggasi
It was actually looking for Degasi survivors whilst on its way to build a phase gate further out in the galaxy :)

There is only 1! The efp uses gravity to slingshot its rounds at ships in orbit.

It’s time based, the PDA periodically tells you about the degrading state of the aurora drive core and after a few days the ship explodes
