Battlefront II in 2023

This game used to be my whole life, but it's since fallen by the wayside. It was nice to really give this game a good play again. Should we play it more? LET US KNOW!

It will never stop hurting how EA abandoned this game, especially since DICE had more plans for it. It was getting so good.

Every time I get on to play this game I find a match pretty fast. I wouldn’t say it was abandoned and just 2 years ago it had a huge spike in players, breaking the previous total player count

It still has a ton of players on pc and console. Yes it may take like 2 minutes for a lobby to fill up but there still is a good amount of people playing.

Sad that even with how much better BF2 was from BF1 (which was a absolutely horrible game) just some additional content to BF2 could have made it so much better since the core gameplay was good, it just lacked more variety. That and I wish you could just hop in to mount and dismount vehicles, not sure why they made it so you have to wait to respawn with points... but still far better than having to pick up those dumb tokens in BF1.

@@bnzchacon5455 I'm not sure how many hours I've got in it, but I'm certain it would be less than 15 in BF1 (multiplayer) compared to at least 200 in BF2. The story of both were pretty meh, but BF1 just had what felt like super small maps that were super linear and the whole coin vehicle drops just made it so everyone was hovering over the spawn point waiting for them, the modes were pretty bland and overall just didn't feel like dice knew what they were doing. BF2 they improved a lot on similar mechanics, but they just played a lot better, it just felt more polished and what BF1 probably should have been to begin with, and eventually BF2 did get more content but at release it just felt once again, unfinished. Same for most of the recent battlefield games from BF1-2042, they're not great at release and in some ways barely enjoyable, but get better over time with updates, that or people dislike the new ones so much that they look at the old ones and say "gee, guess it wasn't that bad afterall" since everyone just wants them to stand up to BF4 standards and unfortunately, they cant. But that's a whole other thing.
