I really appreciate your review of Billie Eilish. When she first won the Grammies with "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" I was just amazed, so much so that I spent $500 for two tickets to see her in Philadelphia on March 13, 2020. As luck would have it, that concert was canceled 12 hours before the doors opened due to Covid. I mention that here because when I studied voice at the university 45 years ago the attitude was there was NOTHING in pop music worth listening to. It was all German Lieder, Italian arias or the occasional French art song. To respect and praise such highly talented pop singers like you do on this video is very cathartic for me. Of course that was almost a half century ago, but knowing in my heart that so many pop artists were so talented but not able to express that appreciation in my music program, and certainly not allowed to learn from them, was so limiting, both to my musical but also my spiritual development.
Thank you!
More Billie please!💗
There's an insightful podcast with Billie's FOH engineer
