    It's amazing to me is that this is a song, that is not even on an album. It's one song. But, it has made such a huge splash in the musical industry and the fans. That's talent.

    There has not been a song like this for a very long time that has transcended every emotion from sadness to feeling like I'm in heaven. I am truly in awe of it.

    I saw a recording someone took in the audience of this performance and it was even more beautiful because you could hear finneas’ harmonies with Billie

      Hey Emma! I am going to have to have a look at that myself. It was a shame that their harmonies didn't come through on the video

    I mean ... this girl might promote herself as a pop artist but she's a mesmerizing vocalist with jazz/soul vibes. A generational talent.

      She does Jazz music as well but that is not Jazz music. It's actually Pop

      Don't realy think she promotes herself as pop what so ever. There just isn't a category for her lvl of talent and individuality. She is soo much more then a pop artist

      @@jessicalittle1988 It so easy to know a song's genre if you can't tell. Check the info on your choice of DSP. It's that simple.

    Every one of those breaths feels purposeful, and you can see where she willingly turns them off and on, or turns from the microphone to intentionally hide them at key points but not others. Stunning performance. Good song, INCREDIBLY well performed

    I know this is a slightly older video, but just wanted to add that she always sings this specific song with that much breath on purpose because she said she wants it to sound like she is crying due to the context

    I wish more people took the time to actually listen to Billie. I see too many people say stuff like, “She’s that singer that whispers” There's so much more going on than that.
    What I also like about songs like this one is they are so fun to sing in the shower.

    • @jessicalittle1988
      @jessicalittle1988 9 місяців тому +2

      Couldn't agree more. It's so much harder to sing this quiet and controlled (lol whisper) then it is to belt a song. Her vocal talent is amazing. She can change yo suit what ever she is making. Not one of her songs are alike. They are both masters of sound. Finnies master of sound production and lyrics, Billie master of creativity, vocal sound, emotion production and video production. They are both true arstist never seen before" original " to why people had such a hard time accepting to start with. I fell in love with there music from the 1st song I ever heard. Both me and my daughter are mega fans

    Do you want the simple answer? She's singing mommy voice, when maybe she isn't even a mommy yet. She is breathing in to a child's breath while the child breathes back. Maybe it even works for a microphone. It gets dsifficult to get the cryballs under control.
