PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OFFENSE, BUT IT WAS SO ADORABLE I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING. For about the first 30 seconds you kept tilting your head one way and then the other making you absolutely look like a German shepherd trying to figure something out! 🤣🤣🤣
I subscribed because of your reactions to Voiceplay. I love the way one can actually see the moments when your brain breaks because of something off the wall they've done (especially those Geoff Castelucci subharmonics). But I love your reactions. Keep em coming!
Everyone is flabbergasted by this. All the performances, Geoff’s arrangement, Layne’s sounds, are all over the top good. I don’t think any other a cappella group is as crazily creative as Voiceplay recently. This should have a million views by now.
Arab Man Reacts One of your best Reactions- Seven Nation Army's terrific breakdown, knowing Jeoff Castelloucci as well as you do you were totally ready for the jaw-dropping base, my headphones actually vibrated. keep doing your thing excellent work Arab Man Reacts.
Thank you for your honest reaction of the amazing talent to the guys of VP. This song done with Anthony is amazing. They have an amazing ability to take a cover and make it their own. Their talent is off the charts. Thank you again for your heart felt reaction. By the way, I agree with you.
No matter what style of music Voiceplay attempts, they make it seem like that is the style of music they are supposed to be singing. The views are definitely lower than they should be, but part of that may be because people are watching it on TikTok. It has almost 4 million views on TikTok right now.
I watch for the brain melt!! You did not disappoint. My favorite reactions are by musicians (and producers). When one truly understands how complex this is; it’s mind blowing.
Ever since you started reacting to VoicePlay I have been a fan of your reactions. To see someone who appreciates the hard work that they put into their productions and knows music themselves makes watching you so much fun. Thank you!
Yes Anthony's name is said Garjoola. It's an Italian name. And yes his has a beautiful voice. And yes they do look hard in this. Though to be fair I don't think Layne could ever look mean. He's such a sweetheart. Yes there's some postproduction magic on the voices at one point.
The bat dragging along the ground was thought of ahead of time. In the bts video, Eli does physically drag the bat, but he's on tile, and the sound is definitely different. The sound in the mix is a metal bat drug across concrete. And as others have pointed out, Geoff did the arrangement, costuming, and video for this one. In my opinion, Layne definitely stole the show for me musically in this one. From that breathy, inhale beat to the water droplet sound, he definitely outdid himself in this one. I think Eli stole my soul, though, with those rock god screams. 😆
He pronounces it Gar JOO la. This is the third in a trilogy of songs that is theoretically set in a post-apocalyptic story (I think someone said it was a zombie apocalypse). The first is Warriors (Imagine Dragons cover), second is Dream On (Aerosmith). Only 182k views-that’s WAY too few, esp. since at least 82k of those views were ME!!! Plus I’ve had it on repeat every time I get in the car-I never do that! Loved this reaction. And if you haven’t checked out their shorts, you should-maybe do a couple at a time. They just dropped a short of Jericho that is incredible. I am starting a nationwide protest until they do a full-length version. OMG.
Every time I watch one of your reactions my main takeaway is how damn fun you must be to hang with. You come across as such a funny, genuine, kind and silly person. Good on you. My favorite follow on YT these days.
hahahaha Silly is the exact right word. I'm down to hanging anytime! Maybe i'll do a live over the weekend, we all get to hang out together. Thank you for words Stefan, and for taking the time to write them, you put a BIG smile on this arab's face :D
I cannot stop watching reactors getting broken by this song...this song broke me as well. Geoff Arranged this one and they just seem to get better with each cover they do!! I just do not know how they do it. There are no words at all. And Anthony has the voice of an angel with all those runs...OMG!!! Loved your reaction
Eli's casual flip of that bat... The guys were maniacal in Valhalla, but I always pictured Anthony as a lover but not as a fighter. Boy, did he change that! He has depths we haven't seen yet, and I'm very much looking forward to. Hoping for more collaborations with him! Also, last thought, Geoff did beatboxing in the early days, and they had everyone do it in the "Showman Medley". Electronic sounds from them? I have ceased to be surprised. Absolutely ecstatic? Yes.
I didn't know your band plays Seven Nation Army! I knew you'd like this, but that makes it even more special. If you're not sure whether a non-singing sound is from a human or a machine, it's probably Layne, the beatboxer. It's easy to focus on Geoff, but it wouldn't be VoicePlay without Layne's extraordinary talents. Thanks for the enthusiastic reaction. Looking forward to "Halo" and Show-Go.
@@phyllisfranks7739 Thanks for clarifying that. When you Google his name you get a blurb from his site saying he is 17. He could pass. 😅 But the actual site reads something different.
@@ArabManReacts you will also love Voice Plays cover of Dream On originally by Aerosmith. Voice Play knocks this one out of the ball park. The guy with the big hair is the one who hits the high note at the end. As always never end the video until the credits roll. Sometimes they pause or blackout before the awesome end.
Great reaction, thank you! I think the transition made by Eli, from affable, friendly guy - to being able to pull out this total bad-ass that is utterly convincing - is particularly amazing. There's not a single second during this video when he forgets 'who he is' and presents as less than frightening. He began really developing this character in My Mother Told Me. Along the way he's had various versions, but none as completely convincing as this one. Maybe that's too much emphasis on performance/vs singing, but they've made theater the cornerstone of what they do. Layne always has a powerful performance (in terms of acting) but this time it was Eli I couldn't take my eyes off of. So interesting to watch them change and develop their skills.
The first time I saw Hoist the Colours, I felt like maybe Eli was going to crawl through the screen and murder me with his bare hands right where I sat.
How did my ignorant butt not know you were in a band? I'ma be researching that, for sure. I love this video by VP. I'd never heard of Anthony before it came out, and that'll be another rabbit hole I'll be going down. They AWESOMELY look badass. This video, Dream On by Aerosmith, especially Warriors by Imagine Dragons! Pls also consider doing a reaction to "Warriors" by VP. It has Layne, Eli, Geoff, J-None, and Earl. I love acapella, and I also love Pentatonix and Home Free. But, though those two groups do just as well, vocally, and have great visual videos (especially Pentatonix' "Over the River", and Home Free's "Brother"), they simply cannot compare to the visual impact of Voiceplay. These 'warrior' videos, Little Mermaid Medley, Hoist the Colours, Oogie Boogie, etc. And the group themselves do almost everything. Lighting, video shooting, video editing, musical arrangement, all done by Voiceplay themselves and a very tiny group doing makeup and sets.
I don't know a group that builds a song like VoicePlay. Their arrangements are just so superior. Whoever arranges does the editing. In this case Geoff.

Sometimes I think that maybe, just maybe, "only 182,000 views" on a thing like this happens exactly because, kinda "paradoxically", there are "too many good things happening", and this sort of "overwhelms" people. We're getting too used to too simple stuff, and losing our ability of appreciating complexity. I may be wrong, of course, though I see this happen in so many fields. 🙄 Great reaction as usual. I'm always here for VoicePlay! Enjoyed your reaction. A suggestion: incredible performance by Dan Vasc of Amazing Grace. He's a metal singer, but is versatile and incredibly talented. The most powerful version I've heard!
This was an amazing song. Another group you might like is Home Free. I’d suggest Man of Constant Sorrow or Brother in Arms. They are acapella just like Voiceplay is
Hey Boudy, this goes as an appreciation to the reactions to all the VoicePlay covers. I’m going through some of the reactions even the recent one but not all of them have the super thanks option. I happened to really fall in love with them ❤. Such amazing harmonies and great God given talents. Just spectacular!! I really enjoy watching your sufferings with anxiety (or envy 😅) hahahaha 😅. Just kidding!!. Hugs to you and Ramzi. ♥️♥️
Yay! I was looking forward to this one from you! There is so much going on in this song and it's incredible. That bass line tho😍 someone else suggested it but I think you'd like their version of Dream On, there's kind of a trilogy with this song. Warriors is first, then dream on and lastly seven nation army. Post apocalyptic perfection. 💜 Also, Anthony is also on their version of golden hour with voiceplay. That one's great as well!
As someone said so eloquently before, I knew you'd like it... (I could hardly believe you had not reacted to this, yet... ) I think it is the best arrangement of VoicePlay I've heard so far. So glad you finally got to this one, and yes, I know it's only been 8 days, but still! My favorite sound bit is that insane high riff that Anthony did and handed it off to Eli. It was crazy, insanely beautiful. The whole thing was amazing, and this from an old woman who never heard of the song or original artist. سلام
Thanks for another great reaction to Voice Play- you are awesome and one of my favorite reactors to Voice Play! This one has been blowing everybody away with all the complexity. I would recommend checking out Anthony Ray Reacts (one of my other favorite Voice Play reactors) as he really does a great job analyzing the techniques used to create these unique sounds and explaining them so we can understand and appreciate it even more.
Great reaction . Always makes me smile with your facial expression.. I've heard this several times everyday since it came out on patreon. still want to hear more. .. 😊🇬🇧
Loved your reaction yet again!!! You made my day by this being my first video this morning. Your band is incedibly taleneted as well. 😊 Thanks for another great reaction ❤
Discovered you today, love your reaction, and you seem like you'd enjoy the cover of "chokehold" by will ramos And it could send you in a way different rabbit hole in a similar fashion than from geoff to voiceplay
🐸💭 You have your favorite songs to listen to.. And then you have your favorite songs to see people react to.. And this is definitely a song to enjoy a reaction of. Lol. It has so many jaw dropping moments throughout the entire song. I love it!! 😂❤ .......................❤
I would love to see a part two of this video, after you have seen it a few times and would like to dissect or analyze some of it, or point out points that you like or are just wildly different and why.
I've seen you cry with Juan Gabriel. Please do Selenas No Me Queda Mas, the official video, and look up the lyrics. It was written by one of the keyboardist, who was in love with Suzett Selena's older sister.
For a radically different version, I recommend Post Modern Jukebox featuring Haley Rhinehart. I could go into detail, but what would be the fun in that?
I completely agree with your statement. If I ever got in a fight or anything like that, I'd call these boys because they do look like they're about to kill people, especially Eli. Although Geoff has a sledgehammer so.... I love these boys. Eli is being a rock god in this song, Geoff is digging his way to the mantle of the Earth, Anthony's (Gar jew la by the way is how you pronounce his last name) riffs are insane, Caesar is just Caesar and Layne is not human (then again neither is Geoff but anyway)
Any chance you plan to react to more VP soon? They have put out two more videos and I keep hoping that you will cover them. (Drunken Sailor & Hellfire.) 🐱 Geoff takes the lead in Hellfire. All these guys blow my mind with every song they cover. Not to mention the outfits.
It really saddens me that unless we become one of your patrons we won't get to see your reactions to some songs that are most requested. You just may loose a lot of subscribers.

YEYY!
Discovered you today, love your reaction, and you seem like you'd enjoy the cover of "chokehold" by will ramos
And it could send you in a way different rabbit hole in a similar fashion than from geoff to voiceplay
Honestly your reactions are so honest and amusing!! Good job man, greetings from Serbia. 👍
Gar-jewl-a i think.

You have your favorite songs to listen to.. And then you have your favorite songs to see people react to.. And this is definitely a song to enjoy a reaction of. Lol. It has so many jaw dropping moments throughout the entire song. I love it!! 😂❤

I really do love your reactions to Voice Play. They're fantastic.
It would definitely be a club track can't understand how 1 year later it still only has 17K views...
I would love to see a part two of this video, after you have seen it a few times and would like to dissect or analyze some of it, or point out points that you like or are just wildly different and why.
Just listened to your reaction again. So good.
I've seen you cry with Juan Gabriel. Please do Selenas No Me Queda Mas, the official video, and look up the lyrics. It was written by one of the keyboardist, who was in love with Suzett Selena's older sister.
The right priorities on display here: reaction video over, bye, imma watch this again
😂😂
showgo and mb14 plese
For a radically different version, I recommend Post Modern Jukebox featuring Haley Rhinehart. I could go into detail, but what would be the fun in that?
Hahahahahahaha
I completely agree with your statement. If I ever got in a fight or anything like that, I'd call these boys because they do look like they're about to kill people, especially Eli. Although Geoff has a sledgehammer so.... I love these boys. Eli is being a rock god in this song, Geoff is digging his way to the mantle of the Earth, Anthony's (Gar jew la by the way is how you pronounce his last name) riffs are insane, Caesar is just Caesar and Layne is not human (then again neither is Geoff but anyway)
I love so many of their tracks, but this one literally makes me sweat a little every time.
Thanks!😍
Thank you!!!! ❤️
I love how Voiceplay always breaks you.
React to SOMOS LOS QUE SOMOS, Banda MS y los Dos de la S

Everyone who said arab men can't react are as wrong as they are possessing a strange taste in insults
It really saddens me that unless we become one of your patrons we won't get to see your reactions to some songs that are most requested. You just may loose a lot of subscribers.
