- There has been a lot of debate over mid muffler delete and Dynomax race bullets or Vibrant 1794. I did both (mid muffler delete first then vibrant) and here are the comparisons. Which one do you like best? Comment below!
I'm going with vibrants thanks to this video. Really didn't want a mid delete, so this is perfect. I just ordered mines and it should be installed next week.
Exactly the comparison I’ve been looking for. Thanks for posting this 🙂.
Man i love that deep tone the vibrants give out, sounds amazing !!
Great comparison. I was about to go with dynomax, but i stumbled about vibrant on a forum and Luckily i saw your clip. Now i made up my mind. Thanks man.
Got a question tho. Those vibrant are 3” inlet diameter right? Did you made adjustments to make it fit?
@@chicosci1939 Yup. Here is the link to where I bought it from www.amazon.com/Vibrant-Performance-1794-Bottle-Resonator/dp/B001804TPI . And no, you don't need any adjustment to make it fit!
@@jackyang9503 do they just slide over the stock pipe? I thought the stock pipe on the automatics was 2.5”?
@@ryancurington3340 I believe the muffler shop did some welding to make it work
Geez vibrant really does bring out the deep tone
I have the Blastin Bobs resonator delete with the Legmaker CAI. Replacing the bottle mufflers with 1794’s sounds like a great solution, especially considering the gas tank and welding that is required.
Just got some vibrants for my challenger rt off of amazon, so excited to put them in
So straight pipe all the way to the rear with vibrant 1794s in place of my rear resonators
The Comparisons of each one damn good video. 👍 ‼️🏆
Best comparison yet simple no talking opinion just the exhaust do some more comparisons maybe with the reso delete vibrant and stock I have a wb 392 6speed love my mid delete but I bought the vibrants before I got it always wondered what it would sound like the mid delete sounds the best to me cold start sounds crazy my neighbors are cool no problem at all they admire the car😜
Yup I agree! Mid muffler delete is a beast cold start 💯
Grate post was looking at vibrant for my 6.1L hemi thay sound really good that's me this weekend
Beautiful sound to match a beautiful car
How is this tiny vibrant bullet muffler able to muffle so much.. i'd expect something this small to basically sound straight piped.
I like these but also like the black widow exhaust would be cool to see a comparison
That shit sounds clean as f@ck! Thanks bro for sharing! Been looking to mod my exhaust for my 2018 rt but didn’t want to lose the original sound and this was perfect! #MoparNoCar! 💪🏽
Great vid🙌🏻 quick question how is the drone with the vibrants on? I have the mids off on mine but not liking the drone
That isn't any drone with the vibrant. Drone was actually one of the reasons that made me go with Vibrant rather than mid delete haha
Vibrant always
I have a question when you started the car with vibrant it sounded like a tractor is that the case all the time?
Yo awesome vid. I picked up vibrant cuz of it. Did this car still have rear resonators?
Yessir
@@jackyang9503 Thank you for the vid bro. Ended up putting vibrants on my car together with quad tips and couldn’t be happier. Vid helped a lot!
@@jackyang9503question the vibrants are 3” how did you make them fit on your rt since it’s different sizes?
The vibrants; are they in place of mid-muffler? And if so is the rear resonators still deleted? Great video btw 👍🏼
Cirilo Medina Yeah they are in place of the mid mufflers. And no, the rear resonators are still there since I saw some people on the forum said rear resonators delete would cause drone
Jack Yang cool thank you!! I’m putting together few ideas for my ‘17 RT, and I think you made up my mind 👍🏼🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cirilo Medina No problem man! These vibrants got even deeper and louder after a few hundreds miles. I’m sure you’ll love it 🔥🔥
@@a3dpntr Glad to I can be of help! Yeah, I was considering Dynomax before but I heard some guys from the forum saying Dynomax can be raspy on full throttle (which is my exact problem with mid-muffler delete), which made me go with the Vibrants. I would say Vibrants, after you put couple hundred miles on it, would sound just slightly less loud compare to Dynomax but a lot deeper!
dont think the audio is very accurate?
Thanks for all the clips, do you happen to have the part number?
Yup. Its Vibrant Performance 1794. I got it from Amazon (www.amazon.com/Vibrant-Performance-1794-Bottle-Resonator/dp/B001804TPI/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-drs1_0?crid=OVEGGJ2U4WVP&cv_ct_cx=vibrant+1794&dchild=1&keywords=vibrant+1794&pd_rd_i=B001804TPI&pd_rd_r=3a445c5c-5d51-4120-b402-99f02b5cd068&pd_rd_w=9SaVL&pd_rd_wg=HEv7V&pf_rd_p=f3f1f1cd-8368-48df-ac69-94019fb84e3f&pf_rd_r=690A42NTV1FK1Z72H3RM&psc=1&qid=1599234891&sprefix=vibrant+1%2Caps%2C170&sr=1-1-f7123c3d-6c2e-4dbe-9d7a-6185fb77bc58 )
Dynomax race bullets got a better tone
Is it drowning inside?
what's exactly here .. stock catalyst + vibrant mufflers + stock resonator ? or what ??
Just replacing stock mufflers with the vibrants
What if you add vibrant 1794 without mid muffler delete, would it sound good?
Yes, for the vibrant clip, I swap the original muffler with the 1794. Sounds amazing!
Were the vibrants lighter compared to the OEM mid mufflers?
Yes, a lot lighter! The OEM mid mufflers are more like suitcases while the vibrants are just pipes.
@@jackyang9503 ok and just to clarify these were the mid mufflers so in between the rear resonator and front catalytic converters right? A lot of people get it mixed up. I think I’ll order a pair!
@@Exertiions Yup that correct! When you install it, tell the muffler shop that you are swapping the MID muffler, some call it mid resonator. I heard stories of muffler shops swapped the rear resonator instead, make sure that doesn't happen by mistake
Did u get more pops and crackles with the mid muffler delete or vibrants?
Yessir. With vibrants
@@jackyang9503 i cant seem to get the crackles and burbles with the vibrants i been having em for 3 months now lol
@@345power6 Hmm interesting. For me, the pops happen mostly in cold environment and especially when I downshift. Not sure if that helps
1:34 oooh!
From 1-10 how much louder are the vibrants compared to stock exhaust? I just dont wanna get my neighbors upset lol
If stock is 3, vibrant is a 5, muffler delete is probably 7
@@jackyang9503 Then how would you compare Dynomax to this?
idk if u will see this but I have a mid muffler delete on my 2020 challenger. Compared to that vs, the vibrant and the dynomax race bullets which of those 3 has a deeper tone and its not as raspy?
From what I heard before, it would be vibrant > dynomax > delete, but vibrant and dynomax would be a close call
@@jackyang9503 appreciate it this my guy! i do like the mmd but man i do want that deep tone/rumble and the raspyness is kind of annoying u know? I heard some comparisons of the mmd and dynomax and they almost sound the same
What vibrant muffler is this is it the ultra 1794
It is the vibrant performance 1794
Do vibrants 1794 get louder installed mine not loud
Yes, it definitely gets louder, but not by a significant amount
did you use the 1794 or 1792? isn't the 1794 3" in/out ?
Did you ever get your answer to that??
Yes 1794, 3” in and out and they just make it fit
Can we buy car from dealer and ask them take off muffler? Is it possible or not?🤔
Personally, I don't think they would, but it is pretty cheap to just go to your local muffler shop and ask them to take it off. Usually, it is between 80-150 for both mufflers
@@jackyang9503 Do you think they have professional technician or not ? What if they mess up!?? 😬
@@silvervuong4135 TBH the operation is incredibly easy (take off the old muffler and wield in a new pipe). I saw some people from forums that could even do it themselves, so I'd say you'll be safe going to a muffler shop
@@jackyang9503 thanks for your advise.
I have an rt as well and I am looking to get this exact sound! Did you replace your exhaust with 3” piping to fit this muffler? And did you also have no mufflers and just the 1794?
I think there was some welding involved to make the muffler fit, and yes, the 1794 replaces the mufflers
@@jackyang9503 It sounds great man!Did you still have the stock resonators or was it a straight pipe with only the 1794s? Currently I have a resonator delete so I’m wondering what this will sound like with only the 1794s.
@@vancegeraci4726 Still have the stock resonators. I would say the 1794 will be a lot quieter and deeper than just a resonator delete
What year is your challenger?
2019
Would it be loud still but deeper sound instead of the raspy sound if I keep my mid mufflers deleted and cut my rear resonators and replace with these vibrant 1794?
Yes! I would say vibrant is a bit less loud but A LOT deeper than mid muffler delete
hey Casey, did you do the mid muffler delete and replace the resonators with the vibrant? if so, how do they sound once broken in?
@@thedeviantdumbass I cut my mids off and then came back and had my resonators cut and added 3in point to 5in tips. Sounds way louder and a lil deeper, but still want to try the vibrant 1794 in place of my resonators to see if it stays loud but more deeper without so much raspy at punching the throttle high. So I still gotta try that out but definitely let you know how it sounds.
@@caseylee0808 did u end up getting 4 of the vibrant resonators? 2 in the mid and 2 rear, i want to do this to mine and i want to see whatt it sounds like before i do it?
@@alexndelk nah I just kept my mids off and resonators off and replace with 3in pipe and slapped on 5in chrome exhaust tips and then added the zautomotive active exhaust delete kit which keeps my valves open all the time and it gave my exhaust a deeper louder sound. People always ask me what kind of exhaust set up do I have. I really like how it sounds now. It's exactly what I was looking for, but still can go for a long ride and not be annoying like you would think but definitely from outside it rocks the block.
Is there too much drone on the inside with the vibrant?
The drone is pretty minimal, but the inside is definitely louder than with the stock exhaust
@@jackyang9503
Oh okay, it is because I heard on the video something like a metal rattle when idling on the stop
@@GiovanniPN13 I see. Yeah I think it might just be some noises that I recorded by accident. There isn't any rattle sound when I drive
@@jackyang9503
Thank you so much for your time and information
@@jackyang9503
Also, I forgot to ask, do you have any issues at all or any noise changes when going in or out the MDS?
