- My son took his 2020 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7L HEMI to get a Mid Muffler Delete at Mighty Muffler where I took my Shelby GT350 for a Resonator Delete.

First of tell you son I thank him for his service and hope that he will stay safe while he is keeping us safe and second I love the Challnger the color is very nice I jujst picked up a 2015 Challenger Rt about 3 months aog and plan on doing some up grade to it when I can and what you just showed is one I plan on doing makes the car sound so much better thank you for the video and I wish you both all the best

Loved this video! Exactly what I needed to see. I'm trading in my 2019 Mustang GT 5.0 Premium in Kona Blue with muffler delete (which has been my dream car since I was a little girl) for a 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus Shaker in Smoke Show this week. Gonna have to get the muffler delete on my new car too. Yours sounds awesome! Lovin' your dad's Shelby too! ;-) I don't know much about Dodge's so I've been researching. No, I wasn't looking to get rid of the Stang. The dealership contacted me wanting my car in a bad way and gave me an offer on the Challenger that I just couldn't refuse! You will love the Challenger! I picked up Dominic’s Challenger up today from the body shop and I am really impressed with it. It is a blast to drive it is comfortable and sounds amazing. I love my Shelby because it is so raw and different than anything I have driven but the Challenger is great for an everyday driver that you can have fun with. The only bummer is the shop replaced the entire exhaust system back to factory so we have to do the mid muffler delete again. Coming very soon. Thank you for your service! I’ve been wanting to get it done for my 18 Challenger Hemi. And after seeing this video I honestly might do it today haha. It doesn’t throw the check engine light on does it? That’s the only concern I have. Thank you again and god bless 🇺🇸
No it doesn’t because it is after the o2 sensor. Do it you will definitely love it👍🏼

Dominic is stationed in NC. You should be fine because all of the work is after the cats and o2 sensors and with having the muffins still intact it isn’t too loud

Did it affect the active exhaust any on the challenger? Been thinking about doing it but not sure with the active exhaust. Yours Sounds really good, I have a flowmaster fx catback exhaust on my 2018.
No it didn’t effect the active exhaust. You can still cruise with it bearable and when you get on it it will open up and scream.

I put Magnaflow 10s and cut the resonators off on v6 and it was so loud.
Now I have the RT and looking to do this asap. Maybe throw some quad tips on.

Nah I put dis video in my favorites for scientific research. With the mid muffle is sounds good, without it, you get that raw Hemi grumble sound, and it’s screams!!!!

How bad is the drone noise when driving? That’s the only thing stopping me from doing a mid muffler delete on mine.
No drone at all Dominic drives back and for the from North Carolina to Delaware all the time and you wouldn’t even now you had it done. Now when you get on it you can tell the difference. It has an active exhaust so I think that might help a little. Do it, you will be very pleased. Thanks for watching

No has no mechanical effect on the car. It is after the catalytic converters and O2 sensors so it won’t effect the emissions. Don’t be nervous the car will be fine and you will be pleased with the outcome. Please let me know when you do it and what you think👍. Do it!!!!!
Does the sport mode button become irrelevant as far as the exhaust goes?
Dominic said it is louder in sport mode. It does have active exhaust but doesn’t have a dedicated mode just for the exhaust.
Compared to the stock exhaust is it more high pitched, or just as deep and bassy as the stock setup?
It’s just as deep but just louder
@@TrucciSpeed So no harshness or radpiness in the upper revs, or anything odd like that?
No I don’t think it does. It’s louder at the high RPM’s and doesn’t have that annoying raspiness that you hear on some cars. If you do a rear muffler delete I think you will get the raspiness.
@@TrucciSpeed Glad to hear. So would there be anything that you don't like about the mid muffler delete? No strange hum or annoying sound when in 4 cylinder mode or anything? I'm ready to pull the trigger on this, but want to make sure there isn't some strange or annoying frequencies that come along with it
I thought there would be drone at highway speeds but nothing. Dominic did a lot of highway driving to and from base and you wouldn’t know any difference until you punch it.

No, it has a nice deep rumble at startup but it’s not overwhelming. And it sounds normal at highway speeds but when you get on it you wake up the beast. Do it you will not be disappointed!
