A lot of golfers could learn a lot from watching more LPGA players. In particular, for me, Amy Yang has one of the smoothest, most beautiful swings of any tour.
No BS, this past year I had been visualizing Pete’s swing when I’ve played and with that and finally finding my best ball position for solid strikes I dropped 4 strokes from the old handicap. Pete’s may not be for everyone but I completely agree with finding someone’s swing you feel good mimicking. I don’t have time or money for lessons or recording all of my swings so it’s much easier to watch his and free!
I took up the game 3 years ago and I can comfortably play off 15. This is down to watching Pete, Fryer , and Sheils, so keep doing what you're doing. Perhaps when single digits looms, if it ever does, i can start to look at swing science , equipment etc through coaching and fittings. Good luck on your journey
Only one swing for me......yours Pete. Have commented on it many times. Am working on slowing the back swing and keeping tempo with a pronounced finish position
Been adjusting my swing for months based on various tutorial videos (Tiger, Rick Shiels, Grant Horvat) and love all those bits of advice but not until I started watching swing quest until it all came together with the missing parts. The lower body movement was my last piece of the puzzle. Flushing it 9/10 now. Huge thanks Pete.
Funny thing mate. If I could swing like anyone I would copy your swing. I absolutely love how easy you make it look. No pissing in ya pocket but I do admire how easy you make the golf swing look.
Love the thought process of working backwards. From the finish. It's always been a sore spot of mine to try and finish nice and balanced but me being an amateur and not practicing . I still try. Thanks Pete
Absolute love watching you hit your irons. Just looks so effortless. Love the vid mate. Would love to see down under in Melbourne Australia or even New Zealand, now that's next level golf courses
Chris Kirk's swing looks so easy (doing well this month, too) with killer, relaxed posture, narrow stance...gorgeous efficiency; love Christiaan Bezuidenhout's smooth start and tempo, also. Love Peter Finch's action, as well, heard of him?
How to finish is so important too, just like anything with a throwing motion. Always want that nice follow through, it's definitely been the biggest help since most tips are on the back swing and impact. Follow through is just as important and will keep your exit on plane! 🙌🏾
I hurt my wrist golfing recently - it would be rad if you could do a video on avoiding wrist injury, strength exercises, and lessoning swing impact on wrist :) Thanks!
It is always an adventure watching your videos. Funny but still professional. A lot if informatin that might not be new but you put it togetter with easy to understand explanation and great visualisation (what is a big benefit for me) . Many thanks . Cant wait for more content. All the best from f.... cold austria
I grew up watching Fred Couples and Ernie Els hitting the ball with a swing that didn’t have a care in the world🥰 Having a slow rhythmic swing makes golf much more enjoyable And yea Pete you a great swinger of the club….. looks effortless…….. till you absolutely smoke a driver……. That makes golf more enjoyable too lol
Ahhhh... is that a pair of Ping Blueprint I see....? Ahhhh.... Are we testing new clubs for QFO? Oh yes...I am watching! With high exitement!! Great video again!!
Just like Pete said, watching pros as a kid, at first it was Fred Couples fit me too but then Tiger came around with the speed and power. It charged who I wanted to be as a golfer. Then Rory. I’ve had to kinda go backwards recently and find that smoother tempo for more consistency.
Force can only be directed when there is resistance. The front foot provides the resistance that dictates when and where the force is delivered. Resistance from the front foot is possibly the most important part of the golf swing. Without it, we're just swinging wildly through space. Understanding how to apply resistance with the front foot is the key to golf. It's a shear force toward the target line that drives the lead hip backward. It's not a vertical force that drives the body upward.

Nelly has probably the most technically sound swing on the LPGA
Absolutely and specifically for getting a visual of great technique it's so cool to watch. 👌🏻😎🤘🏻
Lydia Ko...nice an slow❤
I really hate to say this on Pete’s channel, but Fryer has an amazingly effortless swing and I love to watch him. Butter

My new mantra- “I am the centre of the wheel.” I even spelled it like a Brit. One of your best instruction videos. Thanks!
Saying loud and slow Eeeerrrrrnnnnnniiiiieeeeee on the backswing and fast Els on the throghswing! One lovely drill of my old coach =) Great video.
These videos are pure gold
Great to see you playing matches together
Only one swing for me......yours Pete. Have commented on it many times. Am working on slowing the back swing and keeping tempo with a pronounced finish position
Once again, Pete does it right. I really needed to see this Pete, thanks!
Rarely comment but this was such a brilliant instructional, Nice one!

Legend. Love your instruction videos better than anyone else's.

I always liked Ernie and Freddie, but nowadays, I am totally admiring of Linn Grant's swing. It seems effortless and flawless!

“How to build a classic golf swing” Got the book and the VHS. My first intro to the amazing tempo of Ernie. To copy this is easier said than done.
Gear video!! Smooth swing and tempo is something I have been working on.
Absolute love watching you hit your irons. Just looks so effortless. Love the vid mate. Would love to see down under in Melbourne Australia or even New Zealand, now that's next level golf courses
Great stuff as always Pete, been working on a smoother swing

This is absolutely excellent, thank you!
Magnificent contents for smooth swing.
A fantastic smooth swing video Pete. ❤

Good idea. Been hit out of the blue with Rheumatoid arthritis. The wrists are struggling big time. Especially winter off a matt.
Thanks Pete ! Great video. Another example of a smooth swing : the french player Raphaël Jacquelin.
You should go see him.
Great swing, I remember him well
Great content and explanation is next level

Awesome video
Do you fare your back foot a bit? A video on foot position and width
Ahhhh... is that a pair of Ping Blueprint I see....? Ahhhh.... Are we testing new clubs for QFO? Oh yes...I am watching! With high exitement!! Great video again!!
Wonderful advice ❤

I think about Grant's swing as visualisation
Grant has beautiful rhythm
Nice Swing Peter!

Pete defenitly has a smooth swing❤
I was only thinking this about Max Homa’s smooth swing recently. Do you think we can get too lost trying to copy pros Pete?
Any golfer you say.... truly believe I would get a hernia trying to swing like Jon Rahm
You forgot to mention Grant Horvat ! 🤣👍
Fantastic Video as always from swing quest. Oddly enough, I am doing my best to copy your swing. Do you happen to still teach one on one ?
Not at the moment, just filming full time
Freddy has always been the guy I’ve tried to emulate
When I try smoother swing the distance drop 😢 I should have done something wrong😅
Where has the Puttview setup gone?!
whenever i try this, i hit the ground inches behind the ball
Hogan once said, you may have the most beautiful swing but if you dont join the competition its useless.
Okay, lemme channel the swing I want to emulate... "Finchie... Finchie..."
