- Chris de Burgh - The Revolution Trilogy live in South Africa 1993 featuring the old Canadian band - Jeff Phillips - drums; Danny McBride - lead guitar; Glenn Morrow - keyboards; Al Marnie - bass; Ian Kojima - guitar, keys, sax, etc!!
i come back here for that insane guitar play by Danny .. its really something :/
The best CdB Band ever. the old Canadian band - Jeff Phillips - drums; Danny McBride - lead guitar; Glenn Morrow - keyboards; Al Marnie - bass; Ian Kojima - guitar, keys, sax.
Probably the best live version of this track in existence. Danny Mcbride was an awesome guitarist and it was nice for him to have the chance to show off a bit. This was Chris at the height of his powers and the band were great too. Good to have the chance to relive old memories.
Thank you so much ❤️
McBride whata beast on the guitar back then!!
the concerts with the canadian band were true rock concerts and one hell of a show ..
i haven't heard this song for nearly twenty years and can remember it word for word . top song from the days i went to his concerts before he got a bit naff .
This is so relevant to what is happening right now...
HOW DID I JUST NOW COME ACROSS THIS SONG??? This is seriously AMAZING. I'm in awe.
Amen Jerry King, this should start a fire in the soul of every patriot
CHRIS DE BURGH! YOU GOTTA COME BACK TO SOUTH AFRICA!
I had the huge pleasure of seeing Chris and the guys live a couple of times in the Kings Hall, Belfast. Both were great experiences, but "The Power Of Ten" gig stands out. Mind blowing.
chris de burgh is my favourite musician....AND NOBODY WILL EVER BEAT HIM!!!
How great is this??? WOW Chris de Burgh!!!!!!
I was lucky to witness this the Revolution Trilogy live back in '92... Chris did play The Revolution and Light a fire live a couple of times, but this was the only time I ever heard Liberty live... Still getting gooseflesh!!!
@TheMetalModeofLife Danny McBride was amazing. That Canadian band was Chris' best band in my opinion.
Wow, what a masterpiece!
masterpiece:)
a blessed song...
Finally, a live version of this awesome track nicely rendered ! Thank you
Fantastic!
@transmissionends64 thanks

I think nobody has so much contact to his fans like him!!!

Yes, and how about Tim Wynveen!!! A classic!!! Thanx from another Tim in Leamington, Ontario.
Great

Toronto Ontario
Agreed - I think the one thing he really lost when he changed bands were all the harmonies. And the sax of course ;)
@TheMaggi1980 totally agree!!
@AECEntertainment he was in Chris' band from 1983-1994 when the whole band broke up.
@Crysalla This IS the full song - all three parts!
Super chris ga door
no one here speaks your fucking language speak English or dont speak at all
Went to school with Danny mcbride
Possibly the best version of the song! Is there somewhere you can buy this concert?
Check out 'Quicksilver Messenger Service' "What about Me"?
Why dont you let show all of this fine song "revolution"? Would be very fine fore all theses , who just have in many situations of their lives nothing but just eating. It is a shame - for man nothing to have more than only eating - but no money to live his culture as well - for him and the children ----
Ouais ouais ouais
@TheMetalModeofLife mcbride is fantastic
how long did he play with chris do you know
Danny and I went to school together John Fisher the best
عالی بود
thanks for the comment. Yeah, I know what you mean about the old Canadian Band. I suppose the current band are so sedate because Chris is as well - no offence meant, just that it's mostly to do with his age. At 62 (?) it's not a good look to be acting like you're still in your 20's!!
Kajman - To jest Kajman ;
1:22 hahahahahahahahahahaha
@Turbo05Dodge yes but he's a god.. ok chris de burgh is a god too ... what about a battle? "chris de burgh vs. chuck norris" xDD
@transmissionends64 I prefer the current band. They are better singers.
