Also praying for this :) I would love for the LaunchControl XL to be the less-expensive alternative to the Xone:K2, but the lack of endless push encoders on the MK2 unfortunately rule it out as an all-in-one DJing controller. i emailed Novation asking about it (and suggesting that a new one should take design cues from the new launchpad and, more importantly, throw in those endless encoders) and they responded saying that they can't offer any word on future products but said they would pass on the suggestions to the design team. worth noting that they recently revamped the launchkey mini with the new gorgeous design used for the Launchpad X, so that suggests that they're going to be updating more products to this "new generation." keeping my fingers crossed!
RAHUL DESHMUKH Absolutely love it. It changed the way I write and record music. I keep it close enough that I can quickly reach up with my left hand and trigger a scene while playing and recording on the fly. Couldn’t be without it now.
