So helpful! How do I know I’m purchasing the right replacement seal? I have a 2007 Wrangler Sierra
What’s the piece called where it clips into the door surround , I think I’m missing that piece
It's a good thing you were able to source a MOPAR as I've also read that the non-OEM parts are hit or miss as to the fitting.
Bit of a lucky dip isn't it.
Lovely mate💪🏼😌
Thank you 🙌
What all components do you have for your suspension and what would you add next?
OME 2.5 kit currently. Adjustable arms and SYE kit to come
Are the Stable seat bushings still going strong?
So far so good
Did you have a gap between your seal lip and you softtop header bar?
Can't remember but the new seal made the huge difference at speed.
Hello there, can you share the link to where to got this item from?
Rockauto.com - MOPAR 55395101AB
Awesome video! Explained very well and detailed installation. Did you having any issues with that old seal leaking during bad weather? If so did the new seal help? Where I live in the United States it can be very wet. We had an extremely wet summer. Keep up the good videos!
No it never leaked, just made a horrible noise at speed. Its still quiet as inside so is going well.
@@DarrylSheather Sounds good. Keep up the good videos!
Hey Darryl, How are you liking those seats? I’m looking to upgrade mine and don’t know what seats to go with. I was thinking of splurging and getting Recaro but I’m still undecided.
The Recaros will be a better seat however after a couple of long trips the Corbeaus are quite good, especially with the seat heating.
@@DarrylSheather Thanks for the feedback. Having heated seats is a nice luxury for sure and something I’ll be adding when I do the upgrade to the LJ.
Did it make a difference in wind noise after the replacement?
Yes it did, much quieter at freeway speeds.
So then wear was your wind noise coming from and did the new seal fix your issues
The old seal, with the new one there's no wind noise in the cab.at freeway speeds.
Are you still using the quadratec catback by magnaflow? If so did you notice any change in sound over the year or is there any drone?
Yes I am, It's a slightly deeper note at idle/acceleration but from inside the Jeep it's as unobtrusive as it always has. Not for those wanting something loud and obnoxious.
@@DarrylSheather is there any drone whatsoever?
@@michaeldempsey6747 Nope inside you can hardly tell any difference from standard, its a very mild system.
The serial number is not on the bag that would be what’s called a part number
Well spotted.
It's a jeep not a mini van.
Easy fix, sell the jeep and buy a triton.😁
Don’t you have to buy some type of Toyota product and cut in half?
Only somone that doesn't have a jeep would say that
