  • Hey guys another video for y'all to enjoy!
Be warned some cussing and all that. Didn't want a click bait video so in a nut shell start off at a light and a honda accord decides to run through his red. No worries no one was harmed just a lot of cussing at first. In the end have a rant and my vizor pops off.
If you have kiddo's maybe consider keeping them off this video for your own peace of mind or mute it your call. Just be aware of cars because as you see they run away and try to escape. However I just like to bicker and not hunt down people...because Texas and guns and should I say more.

      Jose,
I want to thank you for the sub, I truly appreciate it!
I haven't forgotten about you and have been just busy with things beyond youtube. I am very glad you decided to take the class. It is very informative and gets you a clear and useful hands on approach with a minimized risk. It's difficult getting balance and throttle if not familiar. If you are familiar with a manual transmission on a car that will help so much with timing.
I think a 250cc motorcycle is a wonderful beginner bike and a perfect city goer. However, I'd say if you do purchase an older 250cc bike you will have much maintenance and upkeep. If you can either get a 250cc or 300cc water cooled and electric start fuel injection system life is much easier. Just regular maintenance and tire upkeep and other repairs. As you have seen with my breakdowns you will have issues. If you purchase a used bike don't always believe the dealer that it's been maintained. Assume it is sold working and that's it. Get a tuneup the moment you purchase it and get it dialed in and check the filters and know b12 is your best friend. Where as if you get a used fuel injected bike or new one you should be able to just jump on if all is right and go to town.
Well you can reach 100mph with a 250R, but I wouldn't recommend it. When I first got the bike I took I-30 toll road and got to 104 and was surprised. Now I do not condone doing that or risking that kind of danger, I was just curious on an empty set of road. But at that speed one bump and you could be severely injured or worse. A good quality set of armor and helmet will help you, please keep that in mind. But minimize risk by acknowledging the cars around you. Don't think they are going to be courteous to you. I hate to say it you have to earn that respect with them. You see a guy coming up on you remember you are a 250 get over don't try and race it. I know it sounds fun to try and beat a honda or old sentra, but when surrounded by all those cars trucks suv's it's a risk you might not want to take. Sorry for the rant I just want you to be able to have an enriching experience while riding.
I think it is wonderful that you also mention your family and show a sign of concern of your well being and not wanting to be reckless. Kudo's to you Jose, I highly respect that! The 250 can be a perfect option if you are ready to get dirty or have a shop tune it up and maintain it. Or get a 300 with a little more power less risk of heating issues and long term performance and reliability.
I really hope I wasn't late to the party, but if I was let me know! I'd love to know what you ended up with!
      Sincerely,
      Ryan R
