Whoa the vocal notes Matt sings for the chorus, are unique and difficult. The way he scales down when he sings ♪AB-SO-LUUuuuuution♪ then back up ♪i wILL BE SINGING!♪ just gives the listener breathless emotion. The whole chorus is structured like a duel, vocal parabola!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. :) THis is the most beautiful, wonderful, amazing, pretty, emotional song I have ever listened to, felt, and touched! :') I listen to it every day, and I'm currently making a music video for it. I've been working on it for at least a month now, but time gets lost when transfixed by something so lovely.
Wow, the first chorus with the crowd was amazing! :) Brilliant version :) Oh, and dear Matthew Bellamy, please return to Muse to the residency of the Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations/Showbiz eras please? Much love :)
his vocals sounds even better on this performance than on the album version! he does it sometimes, during some shows he will go a step ahead during the falsettos, really impressive, it's hard to find singers who can do these, and not sound bad.
who's the sole idiot who voted "dislike" for this awesome live performance? come on now. I can't think of a single song of theirs that doesn't sound better live.
I like how he sings more parts in falsetto than on the studio recording, but that's just me. I think it adds more depth to the song. I do not sing, but I do believe it's a hard song to sing right indeed.
I fucking love this song, and even this performance. My only nitpick, I can't really hear the guitar riff played during the chorus, which is probably the best part of the song in my opinion. But I do like how much more noticeable the bass rhythm is.
Considering he's got to project this live, and he's playing guitar , he did an amazing job. I also sing and know my notes, and this song is as bitch to sing. Just brilliant.
it's because singing in falsetto is easier than singing in chest voice, and also easier on the vocal chords if you're touring. i prefer the epicness at the end of the studio one but it's all opinion and some people (like yourself) will prefer the falsetto melody he sings here.
thanks i do a lot of singing and happen to know that the album version is fucking difficult to sing. so yeah, kinda gutted that he didn't sing it exactly the same but w/e it was still good.
i'm kinda gutted he didn't hit the A(4) in chest voice he usually does at the end of each chorus and in the outro. but a fucking great performance nonetheless.
"In 2004, his father, William Howard, came to watch Muse's performance at Glastonbury 2004; a concert which Matthew Bellamy described as "the best gig of our lives". Just after their performance finished, William died from a heart attack. Through support from his family and fellow band members Dominic recovered, and Muse managed to continue their tour." - MuseWiki.org
This song is so amazing. So unique, beautiful, haunting and melancholy. Always get Chills....
I know rightttttt

Mathew Bellamy is such a talanted person.
I wish they were doing a tour this year near me. These guys are probably one of the best live groups to watch. So much talent.
I really can' t describe how I feel whenever I listen to this song... It' s... really kinda something out of the world and no doubt with it

his vocals sounds even better on this performance than on the album version! he does it sometimes, during some shows he will go a step ahead during the falsettos, really impressive, it's hard to find singers who can do these, and not sound bad.
This topic touches my heart when I sing it in my guitar leaves me in limbo, for me the best song of Muse
Love this live
It's impossible to listen to Muse and not feel any sort of emotion. Impossible.
Well their first album was released in October of 1999, so they've been a major-label band for nearly ten years.
i never get chills listening to music....unless its muse of course:D
They're boody fantastic in all live performances I've watched!! That's called 'Charisma'.

@MuseMatt yeah I think a lot of us try to forget that song was ever made.

There is no where left to hide,in no one to confide

I WANT TO DIE SO SOFTLY... THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO STAY DREAMING FOR EVER...

Really.. really.. I'm crying.. :'D
I like the studio version but this live version is perfection.
it cries for the world and peope

American Beauty ...
Shit. It expresses my feelings. Yeah, I absolutely agree, this is art.
thanks i do a lot of singing and happen to know that the album version is fucking difficult to sing. so yeah, kinda gutted that he didn't sing it exactly the same but w/e it was still good.

It Sing For Everyone
Con este abrigo parece el principio de saint exupery
EVerytime they play this song, it seems to be in a different key. But that doesnt matter, this is still amazing are fuck.
i'm kinda gutted he didn't hit the A(4) in chest voice he usually does at the end of each chorus and in the outro. but a fucking great performance nonetheless.
So 1 hour later doms dad died
Jamie Hurley his dad died before and Matt and Chris had to talk to dom and convince him to play cuz he dindt want too play.

Gothic Plague is another
the guitar effect he used live for this song is a bit annoying.. but this song live is as powerful as the studio
i'd really loves the lyrics......
