- an intimate candid look at a film series icon shown thru the raw recordings of a hand held video camera. Back when practical special effects were king, it was animatronic and good ol' fashioned built props. Its Freddy Krueger as you've never seen before!
This makes me feel so much better after watching this movie 😂
Same 😂
Me too😌
Because we like Joey. He was one of the coolest dream warriors lol
que lindo poder hacer una pelicula de terror que lastima que aca en Argentina no hacen, y menos asi, yo como actor me hubiera encantado hacer una, amo las pesadillas
Me too and it's so fascinating to see how they make it after watching the actual movie
i LOVE this behind the scenes/backstage video stuff..i love seeing the day to day stuff of films from years ago..thanks for posting
Just goes to show you, it's not all glitz and glamour for moviemaking.
Well, it is for the A list stars, they can run off to their trailers while everyone else fights out the technical stuff.
The Freddy stuntmen should be tracked down and interviewed.
This cool video clip of the backstage, I believe that the older the video clip understood as the backstage of a film and is a treat for film and vintage lovers, on UA-cam there should be more video clips of this kind
Enrico Panebian
I LOVE behind-the-scenes footage!
3:15 - Freddy Krueger: How’s this for a wet dream.
Damn, Robert you are on it, Robert: I will give you one more take of me and that is it. You guys been shooting this thing for 6 freaking hours. I would feel the same way. Robert must have been tired. But good job Robert and whoever played Joey. All the characters good job
Not Robert, his stuntman. Robert would never complain like that. He is known to be the nicest and kindest guy to work with. 6 hr of work is pretty expected, given the low budget and limited resources available to pull off an highly impressive set piece.
@@sarpergokbulut1924 Oh your right, I didn't see that the first time, yea Robert wouldn't complain like that, he's a champion when it comes to how many takes are needed.
Practical effects. Awesome.
No effect. Everytings real. I love 90s movies
*80s movies
They definitely added effects after filming
Wow! This is epic! Thank you for making my life so much better! I’m no longer afraid of Freddie Kruger! Yes!
RIP Rick Barker (Freddy Stuntman)
How did he pass away my friend.
Joey's real body is in a casket and the ghost of Joey is in this video
2:17. Freddy has had enough with this bullshit....
Six hours of shooting I’d say that actress is definitely being a good sport. Poor Freddy I’ll give you one more take and that’s it. Then the AD yelled, quiet, that’s funny.
That wasn’t Freddie apparently was a stuntman because Freddy is kinder than that and he actually loves being on set but come to find out and I found that out. Is it a stunt man it wasn’t Freddy I mean, Robert England sorry I just kept calling him Freddy
RIP Joey lol...
What a long slow process making a movie !
How did the Water Bed Worked!?
There was a Whole Pool under the Bed!?
2:18 "It's only waterlogged! You guys been shooting this for 6 fucking hours!" Damn! That long for a short scene? The hot babe was suppose to stay in the water for 15 seconds. Haha!
That's not that long actually for a scene with FX and a set like this.
They'll do rehearsals first to get a sense of how to do everything, then they'll do the first take. Something will usually go wrong, so they'll fix it on the break before shooting take 2, and then in between each take they need to redress the set, which can take a long time. Then it's take 3, maybe a different angle this time, but it's a bad take, so now it's time for take number 4, but the camera messes up for some reason, or someone misses their mark, so they do take number 5 or just keep rolling without slating it etc.
A lot of the reason why these scenes take is because things go wrong all the time, whether they are little things or big things. If a director doesn't mind too much, little things aren't a big deal and can be edited around with the other camera angles, for continuity reasons and so on, but if the director is domineering, it's going to be another take and another take and another take, just for one camera angle if they don't have multiple cameras set up.
And then there's lighting which they have to focus on. If the lighting gets screwed up, they have to fix things, which is easier of course on a set.
Childhood RUINED!!! Like seeing how a Vegas magic trick is done!
damn, Robert gettin' all kinds of alpha! I was like "Who's getting pissed?" and then realize it's him! 🤣🤣 Good for him defending Hope Marie to get out of there.
That's so cool!!
Makes you realize the movie tickets are worth the $
I actually have this full behind scenes “thing” (because it’s not really a documentary, is it?) on dvd. I honestly thought I lost it or that it was stolen. Turns out I forget where I put it until I just checked the boxset I stuck in years ago. 😅
damn...stressful asf!
( 1988 ) A Nightmare On Elm Street 4 The DreamMaster
They really put Hope Marie Carlton through it
I’m so glad I bought this before he stopped selling it.

That’s not Robert. It’s his stunt double
That's some proper interesting shit.
What's the woman's name, under the water bed?
Terry Lynn Doss that was Miss Playboy 1988 !
Hope Marie Carlton.
You are a loser! This was back in 1987! She probably about 500 pounds and a deep sea of water wrinkles by now!
Une scène inoubliable 👌

This are fake scenes, because Freddy is real!!! 😳
Freddy isn't real. Unless we're talking Wes Craven's New Nightmare.
what? he is not real? wtf?
@1967 Chevelle LM7 he's slow
@1967 Chevelle LSx It's called sarcasm. That's why people like you will never be worthy to work in film.
Dope
Why weren’t these included on any of the DVD releases?
I’m not sure if he still sells it, but you can get it from this guy:
ua-cam.com/video/JIOeKPJVZlM/v-deo.html
He actually worked on and applied Freddy’s make up to Robert Englund.
I bought mine at least a decade ago.
EDIT:
It’s not for sell anymore.
Can anybody write down what Freddy is saying in 1:14
and that is not Robert playing freddy at that time.
That was a stunt double if I'm not mistaken.
KHWendy28 yes it was
@@sharonsummers3140 :
It doesn't sound like Robert Englund.
"As a burn victim in a car accident (fake law firm) got me 17 billion dollars, and that's the truth"
i want to act movie
Jeez shit myself watching the film an them again 😰
i know huh
👏
jajajaja
Fred real is that his real skin
IS THIS ONE IN 2010?
1988
No, this is the making of "A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master", which came out in 1988. And since the early "Nightmare" films came out so quickly, this is most likely shot in 1988, as well.
@JapaneseMusicSubs 1988
Ça devait être l'éclate les scènes de tournage
