I have one of the early Tele style guitars in see through white with a rosewood fretboard, that I saw on his website. What a fantastic instrument! Of the guitars I've been through, the K-line and my DGT are the 2 I've kept and played daily. It's very light and really resonant.
Thats how I feel about my Suhr. I had a pristine, vintage Fender Stratocaster (SOLD) after sitting in the case/not played for 1 year. The Suhr has the Lollar Dirty Blonde Pickups, Stainless-steel frets, Locking-tuners and the Phenomenal Gotoh 510 Tremolo-system with Insane Tuning stability and (floating) return to pitch. oNe LoVe from NYC
I have worn the finish off the fretboard of my Truxton. Like I said in a previous response to one of your videos It’s a magical thing to me. So responsive and articulate. Thanks for the great content. Cheers!!!
Nice! Chris has been doing great work for years. You would probably enjoy Xotic’s current line of instruments too, right touch of vintage with modern features. I’ve been around the block with over 5-6 dozen boutique brands and it all really boils down to your preferences and the builders strengths
Yup, Finding out about K Line and Chris's Story from @John NathanCordy. I took the dive as well, it's official after going from owning 0 to owning 3 ....I'm addicted to the craftsmanship and personal touch to detail that comes with each one. My Custom order K LIne is my favorite of course. 12 inch radius, Stainless Steel frets, 60 Oval C neck profile (slighty tweaked .820 - .940) Medium Relic, Signature Pups. Charcoal Frost. Thanks for the video John, and the Heads up on K Line!
I just used some electrical contact cleaner on the pots of one of my old guitars, and it completely cleaned up the scratchy noise from the volume and tone. Worth a try!
I don't own one as I assemble my own but K-line is the first guitar I'd look at if I had a greater disposable income. I met the owner years back at a guitar show in the Nashville area. Great guy and fantastic guitars.
I have a Nash strat and a tele as well and I love them. IMO they are a much better value than a Fender CS and the neck is amazing along with the lollars dirty blondes.
I'm in the market for a K-line but it'll have to be used for the time being for cost reasons and their doesn't seem to be too many of them that pop up. Definitely want a Springfield. Hadn't heard of K-line until your videos but absolutely convinced I need one!
I hadn't heard of them until seeing your channel. I have a Dave's Guitar Shop Fender Thin Skin with similar specs to your main K-line - same C neck, 10 radius slab rosewood, but with CS Fat 50's.
Found out about K-Line from you, I think. Have a San Bernadino in Ice Blue also with Firebird neck and Mini-hum bridge. Mine has a Firebird middle pickup too, a Mastery Trem and roasted neck and fretboard. Different neck specs too. Love it!
Your channel introduced me to K-Line. I’ve never played one-they’re not readily available in the states-but I’ve made it previously known how much I like the look and sound of the gold strat. I’d have to play them to make a true assessment, but through my headphone, it’s been my favorite since you debuted it. Second place would go to the blue T.
K-Line is located in the St Louis area - a few shops like Amelia Island and Killer vintage carry them but given just one builder they aren’t easy to get your hands on - but def easier in the US :)
Never heard of them before discovering this channel, and ive not seen them anywhere else either, lol. The offset one is the best looking guitar ive seen in a long while :)
As you know I love my Springfield. Has a V neck which took a bit of getting used to but the real bit is the quality of materials. The set up is amazing !! I had the Tele as well but that was a bit heavy and I preferred the Fender Custom shop ..
Oh yes I definitely heard of K-Line through your praise for the blue strat. I’ve played and bought three of Chris’s guitars now and they are all better quality than anything I’ve seen from major manufacturers that cost much more. If I could get another it would definitely be a Nashville styled Truxton.
I owned one I didn't bond with but my current one is due to your influence. It's effectively the only guitar I really play anymore. That said, I LOVE my SVL and the best guitar I've ever owned was actually a Lentz but maple fretboard. I need to just order one in the spec I want
great!I been wanting to ask about these guitars.they sound and look great.san Bernardino has such cool sounds.....kinda sounds more alive.great vid.luv it.cheers!
Thank you for this video, have always wondered about the details of these guitars. Definitely had not heard of them before seeing your channel. Would you call the pickguard on the gold guitar mint green? Hard to tell in the videos. Interesting about the neck pocket angle and can’t believe that Fender Custom Shop is missing that detail. I have a Warmoth Strat-style guitar and that is a detail they include as well. Building a second one of those in Shoreline Gold that was loosely inspired by your guitar.
Found K-line from your channel and now I'm 3 deep! Love the ssv neck neck shape. I also want to try some of his other pickups, as all I have tried are his sig a2s, which I don't love as much as Lollar Blondes.
Nice collection! First step is to admit you have a guitar buying problem. Second step is to buy another one, cause reasons :) Do I need #15? Nooooo. Will I get #15? You betcha!
I loved my K Line strat but my skin reacted terribly with the finish. It was the best strat I ever owned but no point in owning a great guitar that I couldn’t play .
Man that explains a lot... I ended up using a Stewmac shim on my Fender CS Strat and it made so much difference... But for the longest time, I didn't bond with this guitar. I was obsessed about playing 10s... But 2 months ago, I put 9s on, and for some reason the guitar came alive, since then it's been heaven... But I should add I had to do a fretjob too... For the price mmmm.... Not great. Yet after all those slight issues it's a f-cking bomb. A golden one too 😍 My instinct is that it probably plays like a K-Line now 🤣 Seriously I think their concept is great, 10" radius, comfort oriented, great relic job AND an optimal neck angle, all that on a more affordable price... You need to understand: I'm gonna have to get one. Looking at Reverb right now.
Playability, design and quality are key. I never understood why guitarist are so obsessed with tone tests, 1. Tone tells you nothing of playability and quality. 2. Most guitarist bury their signal with pre and post processing how do they even know what their signal looks or sounds like, goes in as chirping bird comes out as a 3 headed dragon.
Other than the visuals and the natural aging, do you notice any sonic advantages to the nitro finish? I was thinking about getting one of those Vintera road worn just to try out the nitro, as mine are all poly. Is it all much to do about nothing?
I feel the difference a lot between my AM Standard and the nitro on the CS strats... Not sure how much of it translates into the pickups though. The standard feels like the vibrations of the wood are trapped under the varnish, where as the wood seems to be resonating/breathing/vibrating more with the nitro. But that's just the way it feels when you play it. How much of this is felt through the pickups? I think very little... Good pickups are number 1 for tone imo
Thank you for the video on K Line Guitars. Did you buy these all, or did K Line send you some of them? Just wanted to make sure this is not a paid promotion.
For the record, I now own two K-Line Springfield guitars because of your channel.
I have one of the early Tele style guitars in see through white with a rosewood fretboard, that I saw on his website. What a fantastic instrument! Of the guitars I've been through, the K-line and my DGT are the 2 I've kept and played daily. It's very light and really resonant.
put those tele pickups in my sire after watching your vids and absolutely love them. Now my fav guitar
Thanks for the heads up re Emma Rawicz. Just bought the album and it's fantastic!
Thats how I feel about my Suhr. I had a pristine, vintage Fender Stratocaster (SOLD) after sitting in the case/not played for 1 year. If you had 6 K Line guitars it would be a perfect match for all your Line 6 products
I see you're using a Franklin Strap. My favorite straps. I use them exclusively, since 1978. even though I don't have an endorsement deal!
Yes. I learned about K Line watching your channel
Nice! Chris has been doing great work for years. You would probably enjoy Xotic’s current line of instruments too, right touch of vintage with modern features. I’ve been around the block with over 5-6 dozen boutique brands and it all really boils down to your preferences and the builders strengths
Xotics are amazing

The most under rated builder out there!!
They're all such beautiful guitars! I would love to own one. Thanks for this show-and-tell video.
Nice, the K-Line guitars all sounded good, though very similar. 🤷 Deoxit spray is an easy fix for noisy/scratchy pots.
My favorite company is John Page Classic.
Quite similar to K Line, Anderson, Suhr, etcetera.
They just feel like a good ol’, worn in pair of jeans.
Yes, I first heard of K-Line Guitars from you. But I'm kind of interested in the Veritas Portlander Thinline.
Definitely would not have heard of K-Line were it not for you! Really cool to get a run down of these.
I bought Vintage white K-Line Truxton two weeks ago and it’s best damn Tele I’ve ever played or owned💪💪💪
Yeah, I got familiar with K-Line through you!!!
I just used some electrical contact cleaner on the pots of one of my old guitars, and it completely cleaned up the scratchy noise from the volume and tone. Worth a try!
I got a Springfield and a truxton in the last year. They are my only f-style guitars at this point and they are awesome!
Never heard of K-Line or Sire guitars until your channel. Gotta say the Sires interest me more.

Love my K-Lines!! Trying to keep up with you is not easy! Found the soft V for me to be a favorite
You should try one of his Bass guitars - stellar
Your playing is inspirational. Just traded my K-Line for a Suhr and i think i can stop GASing now ;)
Never heard of them before discovering this channel, and ive not seen them anywhere else either, lol. The offset one is the best looking guitar ive seen in a long while :)
Love these John .. they're just amazing and combined with your playing ...no words actually🙌
He is as good as anyone out there. Great tone and Tasty as hell-too. Love his playing.
As you know I love my Springfield. Has a V neck which took a bit of getting used to but the real bit is the quality of materials. The set up is amazing !! I had the Tele as well but that was a bit heavy and I preferred the Fender Custom shop ..
Beautiful sound, guitar and playing.
Can u give us a video with a clean sound and a touch of reverb.?
Great Guitars. To me You are the original K*Line ambassador. Hope you get a special deal. Buy 7 get 1 free or half price on them.
Yup, had never heard of them before your vids.

Brilliant video beautiful guitars can I ask which of your patches you are using sound is amazing 👏
Get a can of “DeoxIT” D5! It brings most potentiometers back from the brink. It is expensive but will save you money.

Intro tune is great!
John I love your style, playing, tone and everything!!
great!I been wanting to ask about these guitars.they sound and look great.san Bernardino has such cool sounds.....kinda sounds more alive.great vid.luv it.cheers!
You totally turned me on the K Line but 2700k is way out of my price range. I'll look for one used up to 1500. Thank you.

I just ordered a Lake Placid Blue
Found K-line from your channel and now I'm 3 deep! Love the ssv neck neck shape. I also want to try some of his other pickups, as all I have tried are his sig a2s, which I don't love as much as Lollar Blondes.
I have 3 as well but each have different pickups. The pickups are signatures, 60’s, and 64’s. The 64’s are my favorite, you should try those next.
What about Ol Brian McGee who made guitars for pretty much everyone from 50s-90s and was 4 foot 5
YEAH JUST GOT A TRUXTON, ITS PERFECT!
Great John! Are the blue Strat and Tele nitro or poly?
Ive thought about ordering one, but how do you deal with 60 cycle hum in a gig situation?
Was that a Sire Larry Carlton H7 in white that you were playing?
I’d love to try one, but here in rural USA, probably not gonna happen..
Nice collection! First step is to admit you have a guitar buying problem. Second step is to buy another one, cause reasons :) Do I need #15? Nooooo. Will I get #15? You betcha!
I've got a K-Line Springfield on order! You should check out Seuf Guitars as well....They're amazing!
Awesome!
What’s the expected turnaround time for the build?
I loved my K Line strat but my skin reacted terribly with the finish. It was the best strat I ever owned but no point in owning a great guitar that I couldn’t play .
Oh no!!! I wonder what that was about...?
K-line for the win!
Hi John! What is the name of the Helix patch you used here to get this wonderful tones?
Lovely! 🫶

John, great vid. Let me know if you ever wanna sell ;-)
Where are your Sire guitars?

Hi John, any experience playing a K-line HSS?
No sir!
I've been trying to afford one of these for 2 years and you're not helping! 😆 Even the used market is getting ridiculous.
Whats the pickups on the tele? Great sounding!
K-Line Signature
You don’t need that many k line’s, which one will you sell me?( green one). Ok
Thank you for the video on K Line Guitars. Did you buy these all, or did K Line send you some of them? Just wanted to make sure this is not a paid promotion.
I bought them all yep
@@johnnathancordy Thank you for letting us know.
What pickups are on the Truxton?
Signatures
For solo acoustic guitar builders in the UK: Stefan Sobell
If I could get that tone out of a strat I'd throw away every other piece of gear I owned.
What size frets do you use?
Hey! 6125
@@johnnathancordy thanks. Good size not small but not railroad rails
I'm stealing 'British racist green', brilliant.
