You definitely convinced me, 3 K Line’s Springfield’s later….I love them. Glad I can help support such a great guy in Chris as well.
About a year ago I was looking for a new stratocaster. I already had a Nash S63 that I loved having sold my 2 Fender American strats. I came upon your channel and was pleasantly surprised by your playing and of course your ice blue K Line. I did some research and decided to take the chance and found a used Daphne blue Springfield with the right specs and a decent price. I am totally blown away by this guitar so much so that I now own 3 of them all with different pickups. I Played many Fender custom shop strats and to me the K Line is so much better and at a much better price. I thank you for bringing these K Line guitars into my awareness. It would be very difficult to pick between them and thankfully I don't have to.
...Sir, if it fits-"YOUR"-needs,... it's priceless...I "MUCH-ENJOY" your playing, thank-you!!!...Peace & "Happy-Holiday's...
mine shows up Sunday, ya, New Years day! I already named it “23”
Happy Xmas Mr Cordy! thank you for a year of awesome vids ;-) My number 1 is also my Springfield, which i bought in October and was blown away! Much like you, i was Gassing for a fender CS but after seeing many of your vids i took a punt. And I couldnt be happier, ..so thanks for that too!
So wonderfully melodic! Love the BT as well!
Been wanting one for a minute and just can’t pull the trigger, makes it even harder is that he lives in my area , would like to support him.
K line should just make this the John Cordy Signature, you deserve it!
My number one is a partscaster I built. But….I do find fender / S style guitars are THE worst to get and maintain a setup on. They drive me nuts!
John, I have a Springfield as well and feel the same about it as you. I've been experimenting with string gauge and height and settled upon it really likes 10's, still looking for height. May i ask what is your string height at the 12th low and high e strings?
Small boutique builders piss all over Fender. I have an Oswald Strat and it's the end of my strat Journey. Fenders feel like cheap toys in comparison.
What'll you take for it? 🤣😂
nice! I have 3 #1 guitars that I am never going to sell, even if I am starving.
That’s an incredible bargain you got! I’m a Fender fan but am beaching out. I’m more of a Gibson guy as of recent.
K-Line guitars almost play themselves !
I had sold all the guitars I vowed to never sell.
Ditto! When you have things like kids you find out sometimes you have to compromise your values. In the end it’s just gear.

The tragedy of being a guitarist. You want all the things but you have to let go of some to get others. I wish I still had my Princeton Reverb II.
It's a beautiful guitar that I definitely associate with your channel. Love that color. Thank you for sharing your passions and skills with us.
OGs recognise the lick at 1:11 from your old intro 😎
YESSIR!
I am thinking a K-line would be right for me. I was considering a Fender Custom shop Strat or maybe a PRS Silver Sky but, after hearing all the good things about them and hearing some demos, I think K-line is the way to go. I love Strat style guitars but, my number one is my Gibson Custom Shop 59 reissue Les Paul.
I got a K-Line tele via a “happy accident trade”. I knew very little about K-Line but had a Nash Strat that I wanted to part with to try a tele. Like you, I will be hanging onto my K-line tele. He will start to be more appreciated over time.
I was actually a dealer for Nash Guitars, although don’t have the shopfront anymore. The Nash Guitars were inconsistent - some were absolutely amazing, and some were no better than a USA standard Fender.
And then dealing with Bill - that was interesting at times. I hear nothing but good about Chris though and really interested to buy a K Line myself one of these days.
@@kiwiramjet5625 My Nash was a very early one (so early that it had the Fender Decals) and it was good. Over time they got carried away with sone relic jobs that don’t look like they were made by a guitar player.
I found a used K-Line Springfield online for about $1.600 and actually talked to Chris on the phone to inquire about the year it was made and it's a 2023 so I feel I got a good deal. It was from watching your videos, John, that influenced me to look into K-Line guitars. I've only had it a couple of days so i'll need to give it a chance to grow on me. As a comparison, I have an American Strat and a Mexican Strat, both of which I love and don't really want to let go off for now. I probably should change the strings on it (10's) and replace them with 9's. I had to adjust the knobs on my amp and pedals, to really bring out the guitar's voice (Twin Reverb, Blues Driver and JHS Morning Glory). The color is gray with a matching headstock - not my first choice but I only really care how it feels and plays. Anyhow, thank you for exposing me to this small guitar maker. I'm hoping I will bond with my K-Line the way you have with yours. ✨⭐️
Beautiful guitar. Love your content. FWIW, I'd love if the sound was normalized, as I'm often having to turn the speech up and the music down. But hey, that's a me problem. :) Just a thought. Keep it up!
Gorgeous looking and sounding guitar John 🔥.
I have a Gibson Hummingbird that my wife (then girlfriend) organised family and friends to contribute to and gave it to my at a surprise 40th. I can’t sell that guitar (sentimentally, but also because it’s amazing).
I also cannot sell my Custom Shop Gibson ES-339, built in first year of the model’s release, 2007, which I’ve taken on tour to Japan several times.
So yeah, I definitely have a couple of guitars I simply cannot sell.
Meanwhile, I’ve gone through too many Teles, Strats and other Fender type guitars to count. Yet to find my “never sell” Tele and Strat to round out the electric trinity.
My #1 is a Fender Strat American Original 60s model from about 3 years ago. The only Strat I had before that was a MIM 2010 model that I've done some simple mods to (put a graphtec nut in, upgraded to locking tuners) and that I still play, although it probably needs a refret. I have a D'Angelico DC and a Gibson SG Tribute that I may sell on. Really GASing for a Tele at the moment.
I love my Truxton. Chris is a phenomenal builder of fine instruments.
Intro tune sounds great. The white K-Line is a recent acquisition isn't it? How do its specs differ from this one? I hope you are having a good holiday season!
Question for you, living where I do, access to any guitar techs/repair/setups is really limited and the last time I contacted the closest (50 miles away) I needed to wait over a year (was during Covid). As a result, I'm considering stainless steel frets in a new guitar simply to avoid potential for needing a refret in the future. I've never played a SS fretted guitar, is it worth it? any issues to note, or be mindful of? Also very limited access to any guitar stores, so I have to rely on internet orders, not ideal - but it is what it is.
I have four electrics, I play my AM strat Pro I the most, feels so comfortable to play. Then I would say my Revstar RSS02T. I have a Tele Relic Agewhich I love since I can make it sound agressive, it is a bit harder to play since I have 11s on it and 10s on the rest of my guitars. Then I would say my Aria Pro 2 semi hollow, really light in weight although the feel is not as comfortable as the rest of them and the neck is a bit sticky I still like to play it sometimes. After years of buying and selling I have finally finished and am happy with what I have and won't be selling any of them, unless John wants to swap his favourite K line for my Aria Pro 2😂
I have a Yamaha Pacifica which I've modded. I always seem to keep coming back to that guitar.
Womderful intro playing, love it!
My number 1 came in a trade about a year ago. It’s a small builder strat, as well, a Switchback City Boy. It just fits me. I traded a humbucker/p90 tele style Switchback for this one, and the new one works for me like nothing else has.
Lovely guitar John! My number one is a Nash s63. I bought it just on photos from a dealer in the states and paid an insane amount of import duty/tax :( BUT I don't regret it at all, it is a gorgeous guitar that I will never sell. Your K lines have a similar vibe I reckon. I'm after a nice tele and because of your videos I am looking around for Truxtons. Great videos mate thanks :)
Sir how many presets in 1 pack (€5)?
I've got the Ash Govan Charvel. 💕🤘
I have two K lines…great guitars
I've been having a bit of a time with my charcoal frost one. It's so mellow... Ive monkeyed with it a bit and it just is what it is. It's the one I reach for instinctively every day and since I've gotten it, goodness it's probably been close to 95% of my total play time.
Only at two electrics, but the Cathode 8 string custom that I got recently is definitely my favourite!
Yup, Chris makes great guitars, I love mine as well.
Sweet guitar John. I have a K Line Tele and I love it! Thanks for sharing.
And you wear it well JNC!
I like that Sire S3 you have. I had to buy one.
Strats are cool. I have a Fender and a Fernandes.
Old intro music reprise.
Love the fresh take on the old intro.
What a great guitar, and a once in a lifetime price.
My number one is a reverent Pete Anderson tele, I joined a new band and was playing a 90's Hamer Special with p90's The bass player asked if I had a tele, I told him no. He brought the Pete tele to the next practice and let me play it. I was floored at the tone and sustain and was playing it a most of the gigs. I finally got him to sell it to me after a few months. Best $400 guitar I ever bought.
