Julie you have great videos! This one is now in my "Julie Khuu Feng Shui" playlist. Talking about entryway issues, a friend of mine has the basement stairs three steps away from the door. Every time I enter her house I can't help imagine someone or something falling down those stairs :(
I donated a lot of negative energy to Goodwill.. there are still a lot of positive energy sucking areas though. I also have a bird and the little monster eats plants and plays with any shiny objects. I like your armoire ideas so I moved the one I had and turned it into a newborn closet... his little space is ready. Everyone loves it! Now I have to figure out how to redo our entry way (inside, outside and all around it). It's an open space with no walls, or hall... basically you walk right into the living room. Our house is old and honestly one that's been neglected for decades by previous owners. It's been painted over and over covering perfectly nice wood in some areas and not at all in very important areas. I have my work cut out for me.😕 as a single mother it really puts a strain on my family but with your expertise and guidance, I know I can make it work!
Yes you can Shaun! 🙌🏻 I would look for a slim console for the entry. If you place in right off the entry, it will help define the aisle walking into your living space
Really enjoying this series...I am learning so much about different energies in my home and how I feel entering rooms in my home, have a lot to do with this...Waiting on the another video that tackle color schemes as it relates to feng shui.
Hello Julie! I am so excited about this video! I got so happy when it came in to my notifications. I decided to take a lunch break and watch it. I love how you decorate and all your design ideas but the FENG SHUI is my favorite and I have learned so much and I am incorporating it to my home. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos because they are truly wonderful and educational. Lots of love always to you and blessings.
Good afternoon Julie, I discovered feng shui a few years ago , since then I have corrected a few problems. I remember that in my garage I had mirrors and when I learned that mirrors double I understood that there was a good chance that the garage somehow was coming back to a huge mess. It was ugly. I was sitting there organizing as often did. Went online for ideas and someone was talking about feng shui. I gave the mirrors away and eventually my garage was in order. But I wanted more. I wanted a beautiful garage. In that house I moved mirrors to correct issues. We moved. This garage is perfection! Very organized. I have beautiful cabinets, epoxy floors, it is finished, painted... everything I wanted. I give away ASAP when I don’t need something any longer sort of baby stuff since I have developing children and the grow out of stuff fast. I also learned about feng shui in plants and colors. My front door is supposed to be blue, however my husband refused to paint it. My solution... I made a beautiful door wreath using blue. I loved your solutions. What a wonderful combination you are a professional designer and know about feng shui. I love your facility to communicate. Your vocabulary is so rich. Specially to me since English is my second language.
You are a pro!! 🙌🏻 Your garage sounds like the exact direction I need to take mine. It’s currently a mish mash of everything I moved out of the house! 🤦🏼♀️ Which needs out of my life, not into the garage of course! Lol Thank you so much for stopping by, I appreciate the support!
Thank you again Julie for these tips in Feng Shui! I would like more of these tips to be applied in our lives.we moved in a house that has a few flaws, like the stairs facing the door, another door from the decking area facing the front door ,and a toilet door facing the kitchen area and thanks to your advice Ill fix them.
Even before I heard of Feng Shui, I never liked staircases facing the front door. Great tips on non demo/inexpensive solutions to some of the most common issues.
it's funny how eventho I ws never taught about fengshui, I naturally feel weird feelings in the bedroom if the bed is facing the door or against a window or I can see myself in a mirror while in bed
I started covering my mirror on my dresser because it didn’t fit anywhere else and I didn’t want to remove it. Covering it has made a HUGE difference in my sleep. Big question about using side door as main entrance. 😊
I finally fixed a feng shui issue & it made a HUGE difference! My open LR/DR/KIT has a vaulted wood ceiling that was stained dark brown. So depressing! I finally had it painted bone white to match the walls & now the space is no longer depressing, & also feels cohesive instead of broken up. On a scale of 1 to 10, it went from a zero (0) to a 10+++++! I hadn't realized how broken up the space felt before the ceiling was painted.
Yayayay!!! I've been looking forward to this. Thank you for hearing me out on my suggestion on your last Feng Shui video btw - means a lot! This cures video was superb, esp the bit about the staircase in front of the front door. Many city rowhomes are built this way so it's good to know how to combat this. If you don't mind me throwing another suggestion out there for your next video: thoughts on what type of art/colors/materials to use in amplifying good chi in certain spots of the home? Thank you, Julie!!!💜
Hi Julie, I am a Feng Shui advisor. It is funny how the Universe puts us through "training" so we can be of better service to others. I was guided to buy this house sight unseen and move South not knowing anyone. I find that this house is actually built for an East group person, and I'm the West. There is only 1 room that I feel comfortable in, SW My health sector, "romance corner" The bedrooms do not offer me a good sleeping direction. The main BR has the bathroom behind the headboard. can not move the bed... Looking out my front door, I see an abandoned old trailer, straight across. Out my kitchen window is the side of a nursing home. "W" O'it's a fun place here. lol I feng shui'd and remedied. My tenant said, "This place is feng shui'd huh?" I said, Yes! and it's staying that way. There's a mother in law apt here in my money corner. After moving here.... I learned alot and I still am learning. Thank you for your videos. If you have any suggestions please share. Thank you
Enjoy these videos on feng shui. You mentioned something front door facing a long hall, is this an issue? If so how does it get cured? Thank you in advance for your time.
WOW great video. Ironically I was out yesterday and bought a plant for my front door. I don't have a lower level, just foyer and stairs that go to the second floor where I live. It's called a loft Townhouse. Should there be a plant at the top of the stairs too? And thanks you answered my question about the bedroom with giant windows. Going to get a tall solid headboard. ☺️
I really enjoyed the tips in your video. Please do more Feng Shui videos. I am in the process of reconfiguring our home office space. I would love to get Feng Shui tips for this room. Thanks.
Julie😍😍😍 You're so inspiring! Your videos give me a new perspective on decorating my space (since at home we were just always dealing with furniture and stuff that was already there, hand me downs etc). So here I am, learning how important it is to have a personalized space, that elevates one's mood. Thank You 🤗
I love having my bed right under a window! Especially in the summer when I can have it open and feel the breeze, doesn't disturb my sleep at all and helps me wake up in the morning.
You know Julie, my family has been practicing Feng Shui for more than 100 years...sort of passed knowledge. The issue of mirrors in the bedroom for us is more like .the soul doesn't rest...in fact whenever I sleep somewhere with a mirror facing the bed I wake up tired and drained... instinctively too..when I move houses I have to experiment bed position.. sometimes not ideal for decor but I can rest more ..thank you always for you are so didactic!
I agree completely. I’m in my 20’s now and no long living in my family home but in high school they bought a big house that lacks feng shui: the front door are large double doors that open to the stairs of the home, there’s a street with cars drive toward our home, the ceiling are a bit low with short windows, and the kitchen is so large that you have to walk far to get to the fridge
Please do more Feng Shui videos. There aren’t a lot of “designers” on UA-cam that address it. It would be an amazing playlist to have people get exposure to you :) I would love more information about balancing the elements in a room...
I hate going into my full bathroom. I can't stand to be in there even long enough to brush my teeth! It has white porcelain, a large dark brown medicine cabinet and vanity. Also, a mixture of brush nickle & chrome fixtures. The door knob and toilet paper holder is brass (brass on one side of the room and silvery on the water wall). The floor is beige tile and my accent color is maroon (towels, bits & bobs, etc). I'm thinking of changing the wall color from turquoise to light, light pink to tone down the blue water element and being Asian I don't need to have all that blue/green reflecting on me when I'm doing makeup. What do you think about the almost white, pink color and would you change anything else? 💜🌞🌵😷
I’m all for the pink tinted white to lighten up the space. Changing all the hardware to make it cohesive can help. I have a DIY guest bathroom renovation coming up for more tips Suzi! Sounds almost like you’re describing my bathroom 😆
@@JulieKhuu,do you think all the different metals are out balance and causing bad Fung shui energy? Or is it in balance because all the brass is on one side and all the silvery is on the wall across. I'd send you a picture but I don't have Facebook. 💜🌞🌵😷
I wasnt able to find a house so my father was nice enough to have his feng Shui sensei to calculate my horoscope to draw a house plan. We ended up building. But I had to move and now im in the same problem, cant find a good feng shui home. Most houses have a bathroom on top of the kitchen area! (kind of gross) and yes, most houses have stairs as soon as you open the front door. Thank you for your video....very helpful.
Thank you for watching Endel! There is no such thing as a perfect Feng Shui home, even if you build it yourself. It will get close, but needs change, conditions change, the people living there may come and go. Best to understand what you want to prioritize and cure/remodel those elements first 👍🏻
I had to laugh when you described the house in which you grew up. I felt reassured that I was buying my present house from ethnic Chinese people, because I thought, "The feng shui of this house is going to be perfect." Well... let's just say I shouldn't have assumed. I even have a prickly vine in the back yard that's proven unkillable. Every time I battle with it, I think, "Isn't this terrible feng shui? Why did they plant this?"
@@JulieKhuu I have to admit, my house has some really good feng shui, the interior especially - but I was expecting perfection, dammit! My only real issue is a street light really close to my driveway, and there are some tall evergreens partially blocking it, so some effort has been made to deflect this. I knew I had a ba gua mirror somewhere, and watching this video inspired me to find it, yesterday. Now I just need a nail and a hammer, and I'm set. THANK YOU!
As u enter my east facing front door, a french door is at the opposite end of the house that leads to backyard. Isnt this bad feng shui? What can I do to practically improve flow without blocking the open floorplan?
Julie Khuu , thank you for your reply! So if the back of my sofa is in line towards path of the french door, i should place a narrow console table along back of sofa and a plant on top? Is that ok even if its not technically “between” ? Its more off to the side. Cuz who would want to place a plant literally blocking walking path to a door, right?
Yes please. Also, which statue items (especially animals that can be used to decorate the house. For instance, frog with a coin in the mouth, etc) Thank you.
Julie, your hair looks great. I am trying to leave my natural grey tones but still in the process. Your style and color looks so natural and healthy. Very nice exotic look'!
Hi, Julie. I’ve so enjoyed watching your videos on design, and am now sharing your feng shui tips with friends. Years ago, I purchased numerous books on feng shui, moved several times, and didn’t retain much. Your presentations have such a nice energy, and I got my friend to take down a large mirror that reflects his bed. Simple! The door opens four feet to the right of the head of his bed. He’ll consider moving it, but wants it as close to a north-south axis as possible. Does feng shui deal with this? Also, my small townhouse has my bedroom door on a slight angle. I’ve been wondering about it, actually said aloud this morning, “Well, Julie, what about this?”. I’m delighted to have found you. Looking forward to all new videos as I enjoy many previous ones. Your voice and smile has me smiling. Thanks so very much.
Thank you for watching and the kindness Adriane! I prioritize the command position in my bedroom. It is the opposite direction of my Kua number, but that wall shares the bathroom, so I pick and choose my battles. That would be my best advice to you. You can’t win them all, best to make an informed decision and bring positive energy in the home in other ways 👍🏻💫
You are amazing! First time I actually like Feng shui videos! The way you explain is just clear and interesting in the same time. I spent last night watching and woke up to learn more. I really appreciate. I'm in the process of buying house that has absolutely hard to set up living room/dining room. I spent past couple weeks to figure out how to set up. And I was very insecure. Thanks to your videos I actually know what I want.
Great video. i have a mirror on the wall as you enter my home which I believe is not great feng shui. However I love it here and have a table in front with a beuatiful plant and lamp on it. Outr house feels very welcoming and warm. What are your thoughts.
Questions: 1) What if your master bedroom door directly faces the garage entry door? 2) what if the window above your bed is not one that can open? 3) what if you have a sliding glass door in the master bedroom and it is directly in front of where you can place your bed?
1. Add a hall light or wall sconce to help chi land and turn into your home if the garage is used as the entry door 2. It’s still a passage even if it doesn’t open. 3. Same answer as 2. Do what you can to protect your head and the wall behind you as illustrated in the video
@@JulieKhuu can I hang crystal orb to guide it? Because there's a bedroom door that faces directly towards the hallway that goes into the main living areas.
Thank you for watching Mahr! On an adjacent wall, sure. Not directly at the top or bottom landing though- too much directional energy will simply bounce off and miss permeating both levels
Great tips, thanks for sharing these. I have a sink directly across from the stove. The walkway in between the stove and sink is not big enough to place a plant. Will placing a plant beside the sink or stove or both also work? Thank you.
Any fengshui tips for people living in small single rented room with no window, single door n little ventilation above door area?..,🤓 how can they style their room to bring in positive n happy vibes 🤓😁🤩.. Be Blessed Be Happy 🤗😍😘
Thnx for the revert Julie 🤗but the issue is I can't have real plants as there is no sunlight cming in my room n am not so gud at taking care of real plants (though I like them) Do u think even artificial plants would be a good idea? Can you suggest some crystal to be kept in South East for abundance n happiness ? - (rose quartz, amethyst, green jade)
Purple is best for SE wealth and prosperity corner, some green and red is great too. You could use synthetic plants, but make sure they look at natural as possible (no plastic/ silks better)
Thnx Julie for the revert... Vl try to incorporate the colors suggested by you in the SE n will try to bring artificial plants of gud quality n which luk close to real (though they would not be in silk as usually we get it in plastic sort of material only in India) 😊 Be Blessed Be Happy Everyone 😘🤗😍🇮🇳 Shailyy
I never believed in Feng Shui or Vastu before watching your videos but now these things actually make sense in a lot of ways! I have a weird layout for my bed + living room where the bed placement is wrong against every wall. 😅 I have windows and door on East and South walls and another door on the West wall. So, the bed goes either next to the Western door or towards North which is also wrong direction according to Vastu and Feng Shui.
Bad Feng Shui to put family photos on the mantel for sure! It’s akin to “burning” your family 😬 Mirrors reflecting a clock should be fine, I haven’t heard anything against it. But there might be a better place for it to reflect something more inspiring
Thanks you Julie I have a big mantel piece any ideas what I can put on it. I had photos of my babies and my graduation photos but going to remove them. Need ideas please help
Such a great informative content Julie. Thank you so much. Now I do not know what to choose. Maybe you can advise me. It is either the bed under the window with heavy drapery infront of the window or placing the bed on the only sollid wall where the entrance door is also placed. Please advise.
Hi Julie. You should definitely do more feng shui videos!! ❤️ I have an issue with keeping my bathroom doors shut. I have cats, so their litter boxes are kept in the bathrooms. Is there anything I can do since I can’t keep the doors shut?? Thank you for your time and videos!! ❤️🌺
You can install a tension rod in the door frame with a long curtain instead. You may even leave a little space at the bottom, the intent to “block” the bad chi is there 👍🏻
Hi Julie it's just delightful hearing your tips for the home. I have a property with three cottages on it and we are having water issues busted pipes leaking refrigerators I know water is money, what would be your remedy obviously we are fixing the issues as they occur I'm just curious if we could strengthen anyting on the property to not have the water issues would appreciate your insight on this thank you
Thank you for watching! You are literally watching your money go down the drain. Clearly prioritizing and fixing this issue will be a huge turning point in the positive energy surrounding the homes.
@@JulieKhuu yes I realize this i was hoping you would have a suggestion to strengthen the area of the property to support and strengthen this something must be needed to support the property what do you think it's missing?

Thank you for watching Valerie! Feng Shui is a practice, so I’m practicing daily. ☺️ Situations are always changing so you really can never have the same solution twice!
Great video! Quick question: I know refrigerators are water (and need to be in the kitchen)--but where would you place a free standing freezer? (As in, just a freezer that sits directly on the floor.)
@@JulieKhuu Thank you! Clairfier question--how about the north wall in the room? The gua would be Health. Considering the floor plan, my other option is Skills and Knowledge.
Looking forward to more feng shui--perhaps for home offices now that WFH is likely to return? When purchasing crystals are there certain types of places from which to buy? I imagine someplace like Michael's has them, but I'd rather buy one from a trusted source (but I don't know any). Thanks.
Hi Heidi, I linked some inexpensive crystals in the description box. Honestly, anything multi-faceted will do, the intent is what matters most here. Not cost.
Thank you so much for the fabulous cures. I have recently bought a house that the front of the house is facing south (feng shui says it is a very auspicious home because of the sun and chi). But do you know anything about head placement when you are sleeping in the bedroom? The house is still being built but I am wondering if having your head in the west direction plays a role to anything? I read somewhere that one shouldn’t sleep with their head north and feet facing south as it has to do with death or the earth’s magnetic force?
OMG Julie... we are now looking at a potential lot to build our home and there is a street road that would be facing the front door. I am speaking with the builder to see how best to position the front door. However, with the width of the lot there is a very good chance the front door will face the street. I remember my mom saying that it's bad feng shui to have your front door face an "in-coming street" as it drives through your wealth and blessings! I'm glad you mentioned the hedges and all the possible cures. But , it just seems lame not to be able to get a layout that avoids this! Any suggestions how to deal with the builder?
Sometimes they can’t move the front door because the street address dictates that it faces a particular street. Your best bet is trees/ hedges to block and a curved pathway leading up to the front door.
Hi Julie, hope you are well, just started getting into feng shui in my home as there is a lot of areas in my life I don’t feel fulfilled in and so I thought of trying feng Shui, I did my Bagua map of my apartment. And my love corner is in the bathroom in the built in cupboard where I keep all my toiletries and medicines. It’s a great storage space so I am confused on whether to remove everything and keep the cabinets empty or still use the cabinets as it is used for, not sure how to make my love corner more .. better lol sorry if it’s a long message. Thank you again for your great videos x

Really enjoying this series...I am learning so much about different energies in my home and how I feel entering rooms in my home, have a lot to do with this...Waiting on the another video that tackle color schemes as it relates to feng shui.
Yes! That’s coming up soon! ☺️
You have one of the best feng shui channels on UA-cam. Thank you!
Thank you for watching Gretchen 🙏🏻☺️
Hello Julie! I am so excited about this video! I got so happy when it came in to my notifications. I decided to take a lunch break and watch it. I love how you decorate and all your design ideas but the FENG SHUI is my favorite and I have learned so much and I am incorporating it to my home. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos because they are truly wonderful and educational. Lots of love always to you and blessings.
I’m so happy they are helpful Madelaine! ☺️💕
Good afternoon Julie,
I discovered feng shui a few years ago , since then I have corrected a few problems.
Hi Julie! May front door is facing the backyard door. What will I do?
Thanks
Happy belated birthday! Plants going into kitchen today! Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Much appreciate your simple aand practical remedies to improve the feng shui of the home. Julie, your advice is priceless!
Awesome, thank you for watching Karina! 🙌🏻
I keep coming back to this video for guidance.
Thank you for watching Jai 🙏🏻☺️
More videos of feng shui please
Love this video.. more please!
Even before I heard of Feng Shui, I never liked staircases facing the front door. Great tips on non demo/inexpensive solutions to some of the most common issues.
These are so common I knew I had to make a video. Thank you for watching Nadine! 🙌🏻
it's funny how eventho I ws never taught about fengshui, I naturally feel weird feelings in the bedroom if the bed is facing the door or against a window or I can see myself in a mirror while in bed
Yes, we all have the ability to tune into our room’s energy 🙏🏻✨ Gotta trust your instincts!
I can't stand having mirrored closet doors across from the bed.
I thought the bed was supposed to face the door so you are basically in the command position.
@@seagal-1 You have to make sure your feet aren’t directly facing the door. That’s representative of how a dead body is moved from a room.
Makes sense! Feng shui is all about energy and how it flows through the home so to an extent a fair about of it is intuitive
I started covering my mirror on my dresser because it didn’t fit anywhere else and I didn’t want to remove it. Covering it has made a HUGE difference in my sleep. Big question about using side door as main entrance. 😊
I have always felt the compulsion to hang wind chimes indoors, and I do! FINALLY AN EXCUSE
Wind chimes carry a lot of energy, so definitely use sparingly to combat negative energy Maggie 👍🏻
Sounds like the right move Rosemary!! 🙌🏻💫
Wow! I never knew any of this. So interesting. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
I absolutely love your videos! I've been learning about Feng shui before I was able to rent a space. All of your info is so helpful.
Awesome! Thank you for watching Gabrielle! 🙏☺️
Yes, that’s a popular request Sandra! Queuing it up! 🙌🏻
Thank you
Thank you Mrs Julie Khuu
Enjoy these videos on feng shui. You mentioned something front door facing a long hall, is this an issue? If so how does it get cured? Thank you in advance for your time.
You can help disperse chi with a plant or lighting Tina
Thank you so much Julie, I will try that. Have a blessed day.
Yes, plants and a beautiful light fixture to help move chi up
I really enjoyed the tips in your video. Please do more Feng Shui videos. I am in the process of reconfiguring our home office space. I would love to get Feng Shui tips for this room. Thanks.
I’m working on a room by room breakdown Raquel, love this idea 👍🏻
Feng Shui is new to
Me however, I’ve looked at the principles recently started to
Map. This is going to help x
Yes, it can’t hurt 🙌🏻
Thanks Julie. Just bought a house and needed to see this. Last apartment was bad feng shui all over.
We all have conditions we have to work through 🙌🏻
Julie😍😍😍 You're so inspiring! Your videos give me a new perspective on decorating my space (since at home we were just always dealing with furniture and stuff that was already there, hand me downs etc). So here I am, learning how important it is to have a personalized space, that elevates one's mood. Thank You 🤗
Yes! You got it 🙌🏻 Thank you for watching ☺️
Nice topic... Can you share also decorative pieces for good luck, love ittť
I will work on this one June! Decorative pieces have to be applied in its correct compass direction so it’s not as clear cut 😬
I love having my bed right under a window! Especially in the summer when I can have it open and feel the breeze, doesn't disturb my sleep at all and helps me wake up in the morning.
Feeling the energy around you is everything Leslie. If it doesn’t bother you, there’s no problem. Sounds lovely 👍🏻
Thank you for your insight Sandra! Feng Shui for me is less about the practice and more about the feeling! I always go with what feels right 🤗✨
Hi Julie. My dishwasher faces my stove. Is that bad too??? Love these feng shui videos. Keep them coming!
Thank you for watching! Yes, dishwasher is like the sink/ refrigerator- it represents the water element so same notes.
What about when sink and stove are right next to each other on South wall? Very small kitchen.
Yes! I’m sure you could feel the type of energy permeating through the space 💆🏼♀️
Please do more Feng Shui videos.
There aren’t a lot of “designers” on UA-cam that address it.
It would be an amazing playlist to have people get exposure to you :)
I would love more information about balancing the elements in a room...
Working on it now Kayt 🙏🏻 I can only share my own experience as I’m not the resident expert, but will do my best!
This gave me an excuse to buy a couple more plants(putting 1 in the kitchen). Thanks for sharing
That’s what I tell my husband 😂🌿🙌🏻
Your ideas have helped me get started. Thanks.
Awesome, thank you for watching Eva! 🙏🏻😊
Lots of info..had to watch it a couple of times
Best to understand what you want to prioritize and cure/remodel those elements first 👍🏻
@@JulieKhuu what is the remedy for the bathroom above the kitchen? since most houses in the US always have bathroom above kitchen
Hahaha yes never assume! Especially if we were the previous owners! Even the Chinese get it wrong lol
THANK YOU!
I always thought that my apartment had bad energy. First time learning about feng shui. Make sense. A lot to consider when I buy my home.
A few minor tweaks can make a huge difference 🙏🏻
As u enter my east facing front door, a french door is at the opposite end of the house that leads to backyard. Isnt this bad feng shui? What can I do to practically improve flow without blocking the open floorplan?
Yes, chi rushes out the French door. Try placing plants on the floor and on a console between if you can. More examples in my first Feng Shui video 👍🏻
Yes, exactly- the back of the sofa + console + plant is simply to deflect and help chi to meander around more without a straight path back out
Julie Khuu , thank you! So kind of you to reply!
Yes please. Also, which statue items (especially animals that can be used to decorate the house. For instance, frog with a coin in the mouth, etc) Thank you.
I’ll work on this one Serene, thank you for watching 🙏🏻
I LOVE these videos!!!
Thank you Jackie! ☺️
Love the Feng Shui tips and remedies. I have both a front door that opens to stairs AND a sink across from the stove!
It’s so common Meryl! It’s what we do to balance it out that counts ☺️
Julie, your hair looks great. I am trying to leave my natural grey tones but still in the process. Your style and color looks so natural and healthy. Very nice exotic look'!
Thank you Sandra! Just had it cut- this color helps to mask my grays lol 😅
I've read a few books but listening to your examples and cures have been helpful. Would love more Feng Shue
Thank you for the feedback! 🙏🏻
I’ve always wondered how the wall of massive pine trees outside the front of our house affects the energy....this makes me feel better about it.
I have a row of tall cypress trees that help protect my home from poison arrows 👍🏻
Please note feng shui videos! You have a beautiful way of explaining it.
Thank you for watching Erin! Will do 👍🏻
WOW, I didn't know about the sink and the stove! Thanks for sharing:)
If you believe in it 😉
You are amazing!
That’s awesome Ania! Thank you for watching, hope to make an entire series to help 🙏🏻☺️
Great video. i have a mirror on the wall as you enter my home which I believe is not great feng shui. However I love it here and have a table in front with a beuatiful plant and lamp on it. Outr house feels very welcoming and warm. What are your thoughts.
Thanks so much. I struggle with saving things of my ancestors that are at the point of excessive. I have started to let go but it has taken 7 years.
Keep the pieces that inspire you most Sassy 👍🏻☺️
OMG, Every day I learn something new from you, thank you
Thank you for watching Martha!
Please more FENG SHUI. Loved this video!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Questions:
1) What if your master bedroom door directly faces the garage entry door?

Thank you for watching 😊
You are amazing Julie.
How about placing mirrors at the base of stairwell? Both up and down.
Thank you.
also wanting to know this
Yes, beside it, above it like illustrated in the kitchen section of the video 👍🏻
Don't believe in Fung Shui but loved the way you explained everything - you make a lot of sense and I may just start believing.

Any fengshui tips for people living in small single rented room with no window, single door n little ventilation above door area?..,🤓 how can they style their room to bring in positive n happy vibes 🤓😁🤩..
Be Blessed Be Happy 🤗😍😘
A lot of indoor plants should do the trick! There’s a ton that do well with synthetic bright light 🌿
Thnx for the revert Julie 🤗but the issue is I can't have real plants as there is no sunlight cming in my room n am not so gud at taking care of real plants (though I like them)
Do u think even artificial plants would be a good idea? Can you suggest some crystal to be kept in South East for abundance n happiness ? - (rose quartz, amethyst, green jade)
Be Blessed Be Happy 😍😘🤩
Purple is best for SE wealth and prosperity corner, some green and red is great too. You could use synthetic plants, but make sure they look at natural as possible (no plastic/ silks better)
Thnx Julie for the revert... Vl try to incorporate the colors suggested by you in the SE n will try to bring artificial plants of gud quality n which luk close to real (though they would not be in silk as usually we get it in plastic sort of material only in India) 😊
Be Blessed Be Happy Everyone 😘🤗😍🇮🇳

I never believed in Feng Shui or Vastu before watching your videos but now these things actually make sense in a lot of ways! I have a weird layout for my bed + living room where the bed placement is wrong against every wall. 😅 I have windows and door on East and South walls and another door on the West wall. So, the bed goes either next to the Western door or towards North which is also wrong direction according to Vastu and Feng Shui.
Go with your gut Aanchal. I follow the command position and simply place cures for issues like beds under windows. Thank you for watching 🙏🏻☺️
Thank you 😊
Is it bad feng shui if mirrors reflect a clock?
And is it bad feng shui to put family photos on mantel piece?
Bad Feng Shui to put family photos on the mantel for sure! It’s akin to “burning” your family 😬 Mirrors reflecting a clock should be fine, I haven’t heard anything against it. But there might be a better place for it to reflect something more inspiring
Thanks you Julie
I have a big mantel piece any ideas what I can put on it. I had photos of my babies and my graduation photos but going to remove them. Need ideas please help
Very interesting, Julie. The Feng Shui subject is so interesting and would love to learn more.
Working on more, so glad you’re enjoying the series Peggy ☺️
I love your headboard! Would you mind sharing from where you purchased? Enjoying the series!
From Craigslist and I custom made the tufted headboard
Such a great informative content Julie. Thank you so much. Now I do not know what to choose. Maybe you can advise me. It is either the bed under the window with heavy drapery infront of the window or placing the bed on the only sollid wall where the entrance door is also placed. Please advise.
Bed under the window for sure! At least you are in a command position this way since both walls have openings

You may even leave a little space at the bottom, the intent to “block” the bad chi is there 👍🏻
Julie Khuu I feel stupid. You said to do that very thing for mirrored
closet doors. Why didn’t I think of that!?! 🤷♀️🤦🏼♀️ Thank you, Julie. 😘
I always find Fung Shui stuff so interesting! Please keep it coming!
Thank you for watching Bonnie! ☺️
I love your Feng Shui videos. What direction should the sink, fridge and stove be?
Thank you for watching! Sink= north, stove=south. Fridge should be north as well, but not directly in line with the stove

I would place it on the same north wall if you can Megan
Not cost.
Would be great to hear more on this subject
Thank you so much for the fabulous cures. I have recently bought a house that the front of the house is facing south (feng shui says it is a very auspicious home because of the sun and chi). But do you know anything about head placement when you are sleeping in the bedroom? The house is still being built but I am wondering if having your head in the west direction plays a role to anything? I read somewhere that one shouldn’t sleep with their head north and feet facing south as it has to do with death or the earth’s magnetic force?
Thanks for posting this video!! Love it and watched because I want to learn before putting my place together.
Awesome, glad I can help ☺️
Thank you Julie
I painted the mirror closet doors.
Ooh great solution! 🙌🏻
Thank you for this video Julie! I love incorporating your tips to make my home cozy!
Awesome 👏🏻
My home violates all of these rules! Please make videos on ways to combat bad fung shui
@@JulieKhuu Thank you for the wise advise.
