I know! They interpret beautifully a little bird singing to people of glad tidings...so lovely. Their blending, the fact it's in the original tongue and their beautiful interpretation gave me goosebumps.
I've replayed this video 100 times and don't understand the words but it has produced in me a strong respect for Ukrainian culture and people as a result. Thanks for uploading.
I have the words and the translation. It took some time to transliterate the Cyrillic letters to Latin letters, then I listened over and over until I got the pronunciation right. My tongue is still twisted. I sang some Slavonic in church, so knowing some of that was a big help. If you want the words, contact me and I will send you a copy.

These girls sang "Schedrik" (written by Mihaylo Linotovich) so well! It reminds how I use to sing it in the Ukrainian Biligual program grade 4,5, and 6 (all together). Would be great if you had more "traditsialney kolaydi"

Some People who have low register voices (I'm one of them) can hit very high notes - sometimes even higher than Sopranos - it's weird - but I'm a Singer/Songwriter/Musician, and I do it all the time.
This may seem like a dated video from the early 1980's to people in the US, but let's not forget this video was filmed in Eastern Europe last month. People of Europe rejoice; low-rise jeans are coming soon!
When you search for "Carol of the Bells" on youtube, there isn't even one version in Ukrainian, this one doesn't come up because title starts with "shedrik" - It's too bad, maybe someone should upload some.
