    Modified or not, I still can't do this or even anything close. I don't care if a couple videos are not 100% possible, the planning and building required, in addition to the time to fly, film, edit, etc a video like this is mind boggling. Even if this isn't possible with stock parts (in this configuration) this is still one of my favorite videos.

    to the people in the comments, yes it was faked, HOWEVER *ahem* 1. He was under tremendous stress to make good videos at the time (this is what happens when you do amazing things in ksp but people keep expecting you to do better all the time) 2. he actually has the balls to admit that he faked this and doesnt just ignore/cut themselves off from criticism 3. this has already been explained loads of times, and i shouldnt have to shut everyone up again.

    • @Hazardish
      @Hazardish  8 років тому +35

      This craft has next to NO excess mass so at that point, it was literally an empty tank, a seat, a kerbal and the engine. With 190 units of fuel, the craft can do a (190/1.53) = 124 second burn which, with a mass this low, translates to a lot of delta-V :)
