Next time, Hazard-ish will enter orbit around the Andromeda galaxy using nothing by a tube of toothpaste as propulsion.
+Locutus Borg I know! He is god! He is the meaning of life!!
too easy, toothpaste tubes never get empty
Ur.
Kill me
Collision course with Kerbol is nice
knife to the throat seems a bit bizzare O.o
Who needs propulsion?
Fuck me sideways on the gravity of eve, that was a nice trip!
Haha, thank you! What a lovely and incredible surprise to see you watching some of my stuff! :)
That's smart. Using wheels to get to near orbital velocity, when your TWR is low
I'm more impressed by the way he used wheels to land on Tylo, saving hundreds of m/s deltaV
mrturtlebobington The Journey there counts too, that's true. Like this, he didn't have to cancel all of his lateral velocity
John - Doing a wheel brake landing from orbital velocity is easy... On Minmus. Hazard-ish did it on Tylo!
He isn't even smart enough to make his hacks less obvious
Max Lewis He was smart enough to be a good sport and apologize when he was caught. That was also more than a year ago, let the drama go away.
You sir are un-reasonably good at this game
+TAPE Gaming Ayy tape love ur vids!
I love you tape!!
+TAPE Gaming My thoughts exactly :|
+TAPE Gaming so many good youtubers here
All hail the aircraft master
I couldn't help but literally lol after you dropped the outer stages, and showed the kerbal on the seat.
heh same here, just seeing the little guy strapped to a huge rocket, made me think, "well his in for a ride...."
+mmisulicaa she, it's was Val that was on there btw
+mmisulicaa YOU DIDNT USE THE RIGHT PRONOUN, MISOGYNIST!
/Sarcasm
+ThatZommy short and green, they all look the same to me. :D
+Eternally Angelic What got me was for the first bit of the ride, the kerbal was going at it backwards. The radar dishes to make fairings around the seat was an epic touch too, especially as they unfolded.
Sadly... the nuclear engines were modified.
Yeah... or you could just read the description.
@@DaSeppii but still cool none the less, i could turn on the infinite fuel cheat and still fuck it up some how
He has also used infinte fuel cheat
F A K E D V I D E O
Racing MHF also a mistake, let hazard rest
new difficulty rating added.
10/11 - Scott manly
11/11 - Hazar-dish
You can leave it out of 10.
Perfect 5/7, almost as good as Dark Knight.
+ƉѦɌɆƉɆѴȈʟ28 Plot twist: He is actually Scott.
+ƉѦɌɆƉɆѴȈʟ28
New difficulty rating added!
0/11 - Me
scott manley landed on duna and duna's moon with 1 orange tank. I still don't know how or why
The gravity assists ... the Tylo landing and take-off.... efficiency at its finest !
Don't be mad at him it is almost doable if you do it right
After he was called out for cheating
Damn, that is one well thought out rocket...
3:49 OH JESUS SO CLOSE!
Hazard-ish you're a fucking genius!!!
This was the video that made me sub, shame to know its possible it has been faked. i honestly hope you can recover Hazard, b/c i actually like your vids. :(
It's fake. The nuclear engine's stats were increased.
Mrcake0103 read the description
You seem like a SpaceX engineer who went nuts, got fired for his supposedly insane ideas, started a UA-cam channel to show everyone it can be done, then got rehired, and would be known for the rest of eternity as a legend and founding father of the Starfleet Academy.
Sounds like a solid career plan! Sadly, I've not even left university yet :P
Trust me, you're going places. Just like your Kerbals :)
He's going places. Not NASA, but places.
he doesn't need NASA, he can start his own space program with nothing more the a swiss army knife and duct tape
The engineering team: Boss, there is literally no possible way to send people to the moon with only a fire extinguisher.
Hazard-ish: You just aren't using the fuel efficiently enough.
Engineering team: THERE IS NO FUEL.
Wow! That's what I call efficient maneuvering!
Scott Manley is soon to be the second most famous KSP UA-camr... :-)
Haha, thanks! Although that will likely take longer than 'soon' :P
Just get another kid to access his channel!
+Hazard-ish and i cant even build an ssto better then the standrd ones...
If you meant "efficient" by "impossible" maneuver, then yes, you are right.
Famous for being a hacker, maybe...
With that skill, I believe you could land on the sun with a parachute.
Medic! I need medic 😨😨😨 What a spectacular flight...You are my new God of KSP
Greeting from Poland
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this mission then you'll love the next one! :)
+Hazard-ish why did you use an oxidizer tank if you have nervs
But for example an mk3 liquid fuel tank contains twice as much as kerbodybe
+cody rutherford oh. Just saw the rapiers
Funni Danni and the challenge required him to use that specific fuel tank
Un-fucking-believable! The amount of design and trajectory planning necessary to do that is out of this world.
Modified or not, I still can't do this or even anything close. I don't care if a couple videos are not 100% possible, the planning and building required, in addition to the time to fly, film, edit, etc a video like this is mind boggling. Even if this isn't possible with stock parts (in this configuration) this is still one of my favorite videos.
to the people in the comments, yes it was faked, HOWEVER *ahem* 1. He was under tremendous stress to make good videos at the time (this is what happens when you do amazing things in ksp but people keep expecting you to do better all the time) 2. he actually has the balls to admit that he faked this and doesnt just ignore/cut themselves off from criticism 3. this has already been explained loads of times, and i shouldnt have to shut everyone up again.
geezus. Nonchalantly doing what NASA does for its mission plans. That is some planning, complicated math, and percision
+Joebro8bit ecxept NASA doesn't strap their astronauts to the exterior of any part of their vehicle as their control bay especially during reentry
+Joebro8bit Not that we know of...
+Joebro8bit its a realistic spacecraft simulation game, you almost have to do it the efficient way. i thought everyone did it that way
+overloaded gamig how the hec is everyone supposed to know that way? there is also the brute force "put rockets on it until it works" method.
SameBasicRiff idk, im not everyone so i cant know
This is just impossible, I knew this guy was exceptional at this game, but how is he THIS GOOD? You, sir.... Make me weep for my own ksp skills :c
+Jordan O'C (Xenro66) ^^Agreed.
Just a matter of proper planning... I am 100% positive he tested a few things before he did them... there are no rules in testing before doing.
skills and hacked engine... I actually just tested it. His engine clearly has like double the ISP the NERV normally have. Read my other comment...
yeah I guess I caught that one early on. I completely forgot about that comment when the whole fuss about Hazard-ish came out.
He does have skills. but I find it hard to believe it's an honest mistake. if it had been the only video that has been cheated then okay. it's a mistake. but it's not the only video proven to be faked. I hardly think that is a mistake.
ye he cheat
The way you subtly tie in your music (great music choice btw) to the editing of the video is so damn quality
6 YEARS IN A SPACE SUIT?! And I thoght spending 8 years in a capsule in my mission to Eeloo was the worst.
When I saw this I thought it was a joke but I was amazed and subscribed immediately
Aiden's Volgs it was a joke...
yeah he cheated on this vid
Human: spends one month on the ISS, he can't stand on his own feet.
Kerbal: spends five years in space in a trip to another planet, endures a 20g force as well as the explosion of a huge tank behind him... Walks happy as nothing happened
You, my good sir, are a fucking genius madman.
To Tylo and back using witchcraft you mean.
U mean Hypercraft?
No he didn't cheat
He sadly did cheat.
But you got to admit, its still impresive.
@@InitiateDee no it isn't
You don't know how much he cheated
Holy cow that liftoff on tylo. Harazd-ish laughs at your petty "Bloodhound SSC"
You are the KSP equivalent of Chuck Norris.
Chuck Norris you sir are a God among men
Except chuck norris can't hack like hazardish can
You make me feel bad at KSP now. :(
+Griffin Brown “MapleGuy” that's the same for me i felt so pro when i landed on the moon for the first time ahahhah
+Leonardo Mincolelli you should've seen the mess that was my first moon lander..
+Jacob Thomas ahahah mine was 3 times the apollo lander XD
+Leonardo Mincolelli I believe I used about 10 oranges, and then that's not. Talking about upper stage.. Oh, and two large rcs tanks to control everything...
+Griffin “MapleGuy” Brown I didn't even need Hazard-ish to know I was bad at it.
You sir are a freaking genius! NASA schould be ashamed to not have you working there. Great job
Im struggling to get to orbit and he is going to Tylo using only one tank... GREAT
MauZ he use infinite fuel
I always imagined doing a super fuel efficient trip using gravity assists like this, but never would I ever be able to pull anything like this off. Very creative use of heat shield as well.
First time i watch this video: "Wow."
Second Time: "Wtf, this guy is so good"
Third time: "now i understand ksp better... What the hell, this is hax, HOW THE HELL..."
You are a wizard, hazard-ish
No, you were right about hacks
@@HappyGingerWolf Just. Stop.
It has been 2 years. Get out.
I am sorry for the following caps lock..
I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU LANDED ON KERBIN WITH A KERBAL STRAPPED TO A HEATSHIELD! THAT WAS INSANE!
I have watched this three times now and am equally amazed as the first.
You just never cease to amaze me with your planning. It is just flawless.
End of the video Jeb is walking like nothing happend for last 5 years ...
that Kerbin re-entry was outstanding! I like how you just let everything burn up and I didn't expect to see that little ablator.
3:51 woah, that was close!
"So when and how am I getting home?"
"You'll essentially be riding exposed on the back of a heat shield for the duration of the almost 9 year mission"
"Screw that!"
AMAZING CAMERA WORK
Meticulously planned and elegantly executed. Incredible work indeed! That landing system is also pure genius. I'll have to "borrow" it for my next mission ;)
All of your videos are so beautifully done. The Tylo launch sequence actually gave me chills. Love what you do, please keep them coming!
Thank you! I take care choreographing (to some extent anyway!) the camera angles and music used to make the video more enjoyable to watch and am glad it doesn't go unnoticed :)
Hazard-ish
Oh yes I defientely noticed, excellent music choice!
This is insane. Just the ability to see the design and how to plan it out then act on it is amazing. Takes time and practice, and I appreciate you making cool videos on it all.
Guys lets just forget about it. He apologised and admitted his mistake
Exactly.
I could make a drinking game out of every time you used a gravity assist
You just had to make that start fancy as fuck?
+Dr.Sensei-Hugo
who could have known largest tanks are so damn fabulous?
Віталій Луцан Not me :3
The entire time I'm just hanging with my jaw wide open, still trying to process how he just whipped around 3 different planets before landing.
Also, props on those cinematic views, they are so cool!
6:03 how did he get 1000m/s of delta V with basically no fuel left?
This craft has next to NO excess mass so at that point, it was literally an empty tank, a seat, a kerbal and the engine. With 190 units of fuel, the craft can do a (190/1.53) = 124 second burn which, with a mass this low, translates to a lot of delta-V :)
+Hazard-ish just one of the many reasons why I love math
*maths
+Hazard-ish I see, that's awesome. Big fan of your work and good job!
Bullshit.
Next video: One monopropelent tank to eeloo and back four times
This guy is the king of gravity assists. WE ARE NOT WORTHY!
This is possibly the single greatest thing I have ever seen. I love the pure, purposeful functionality of the design of this machine!
How does one rocket?
+Ethan Lane (Etobio) please elaborate what you want to know.
For one to rocket, one must become rocket...
Engineer4487 :O DID YOU MAKE THAT PROFILE PIC? WHAT PROGRAM!
IBacon feel teh rocket, b teh rocket!
Blub 01 How does one make rocket capable of things?
That re-entry! Poor Jeb must've been scared out of his mind.
This is why i subbed great work sir. Btw what texture pack did you use
KSPRC - search the forums for it :)
Thanks
Even though the engines were modified, it's still pretty cool
one does not simply science this hard in a video game
Scott Manley's got a new rivalry.
Hazard-ish VS Scott Manley
Damn this one is gonna be close
SSTO Jool-5 no refuel solid fuel only.
I _dare_ you.
On a different note, how the heck did you get such perfect gravity assists? Are you Rich Purnell?
+waterlubber Well he definitely uses a better system than I do, making random maneuver nodes until one enters a SOI
+waterlubber Mechjeb
Dan Sayfullin MechJeb cannot do anything close to that; it has trouble getting to IP space from moons.
waterlubber Or another mod
This is stock gameplay. For a list of all mods used, check out my description.
I can't believe you were able to do a Tylan landing AND return on a SINGLE TANK OF FUEL!
NASA should hire you
Dude, you just out-ScottManley-ed Scott Manley! AGAIN!! for the 4th time!!!
So... i got on duna after 68 ingame years... and 6 trys...
Really? It took me only one, but of course, I now can't get back
I got on the moon now...
My rocket crashed but I got survivors..
I sent the rescue team and sent another rescue team to rescue the rescue team.
Kauan Mendes and you sent a probe to rescue the survivor, the rescue team and the rescuer of the rescue team?
Okay...that was seriously impressive. Even is Jeb did have to walk back to the space centre.
3:52 holy damn ur lucky
Yeh that was like a millimeter close to failure O.o
@@Novarald Not really, he just hacked
@@HappyGingerWolf not really, you just are a massive idiot who doesnt know how to count. Hazard-ish hacked on only two of his many videos. Cut him some slack.
This was so amazingly good, all the planning that had to go into this ... wow ! GREAT JOB
Also great content on ur channel I think u r amazing at what you do so keep it up and have fun. (Did u get the cake I sent u? lol)
Tasted great, thanks! :)
+Hazard-ish also do u even console bro
Did you sent a cake for him? That means alot!
You just gave me an idea with that takeoff from tylo:
Tylo land speed record
that is one hell of a sketchy take off
Not only mechanically brilliant, but cinematographally absolutely beautiful. The shot at 4:50 is mind-blowing.
Thank you! Seeing people talk about those little things makes me glad I put in the extra effort :D
Wow, how did you get clouds on Tylo?
Not clouds, just dust added by one of the visual mods
They're from the astronomer's visual pack
+Hazard-ish that should be Astronomer's Pack, I assume. I thought it didn't work in KSP 1.05.
Astronomer pack and maybe EVE
EVE is required for the visual pack, I belive.
I had to slow down and check out that launch a few times. Epic... Just freaking epic. The landing on Tylo was equally cool.
how to do the camera affect on 5:15?
It's a mod, I believe it's called orbital camera or something like that
Camera Tools :)
Next time, Hazard-ish will teach you how to enter orbit around the Andromeda galaxy using nothing by a tube of toothpaste as propulsion.
A joy to behold! These videos of yours are so great, people I show them to who aren't into KSP enjoy them.
Woah! That means a lot :D
Just found out today this video is a lie. And I was really torn up for not being able to recreate this mission back in the day...
Has Scott's "orange efficiency" finally been bested?? Kind of looks like it!
Why are hazard's videos so cool?
Well, they're badass...
Nobody dies (Hopefully)
He uploads on a regular schedu-
Find out on the next video from Hazard(ish)!
That was fantastic ! That's some serious efficiency right here ! The edit was very good, some gorgeous looking moments !
Brilliant. And your music choices are always excellent. KSP and orchestral stuff just fit together so well.
And I'm pleased when I don't crash a sub-orbital... You are crazy good
I want you and Scott Manley to do the fusion dance
Sounds like a plan :P
LF: 32.60/6480
This, sir, is madness.
Dude you make it look so easy! AMAZING!!
Thank you so very much for including awesomely-timed Red Wings music!
You guys do this awesome shit while I cant even fly to the mun and back
"the hardest object to land and return from has been conquered"!
Me: What about Kerbol?
+Doctor Sergius
there is no return from kerbol. you have to become one with it
Super impressed! Especially the reentry at the end.
This video wonderful.
Plenty of gravity assists and Alan Parsons Project, what can I ask more :D
One of the best gaming videos on youtube. Superb editing, you deserve more subscribers.
wow, great skills, awesome editing, lovely song. brilliant video :)
This has got to be my favorite KSP video. The combination of how difficult your goal, and how innovative your approach, but I think the music is the best part for me, and how well it fit with what was going on in the video. Soooo good! Thumbs up!!
and to think, I was happy when I got a probe into a stable kerbin orbit.
That moment when he was travelling at a thousand m/s and misses colliding with tylo by a centimeter
NOT ONLY DO YOU MAKE IT YOU MAKE IT LOOK BADASS AS WELL. HOW IS THIS LEVEL OF AWESOME POSSIBLE
He actually had tiny bit of fuel left in the tank...just pure awesomeness
Scott Manley would be very proud.
It feels like watching a good movie. Great music and perfict cut
What a cool way of reentering Kerbins atmosphere
Eight years that poor Kerbal has been in that seat. Well, heres one thing, LOGIC!
Imagine the feeling of really being the astronaut at 6:36.
4000m/s and 10Gs of pure terror.
